Slow, jerky cursor with no option to revert to the system default. This is one of my pet peeves and find most annoying. I'm surprised that I managed to get through the first 5 minutes of the demo.
I don't recommend this game.

Way too much yak-yak between characters who are bad actors. Game play too slow without much challenge.

Unlike previous reviewers, I was not impressed with the graphics. Way too many objects crammed into HO scenes; some items are very, very small and that, combined with the grain-like quality and garrish colours, sent me to the hint button a little too often.
Sorry I can't comment much on the storyline because I don't pay too much attention to ANY storyline, and as for the music, I'm not much help there. By far, the best option of any game is the ability to turn off music and voices.
Mini-games were so-so, but nothing to get excited about - pretty common fare.
At best, the game is a time-waster until something better comes along.
I don't recommend this game.

I quit after 15 mins. There are so many good solitaire games that the developers could have made use of instead of repeating the same one (at least during the time I played) - you're probably familiar with the match lower/higher values to reveal the "target" card.
Nothing "magical" about this game. I'm sorry developers, I know you put a lot of thought into the game, but it just isn't for me....
I don't recommend this game.

I bought into the previous Syberia series, and didn't enjoy playing them. There was just too much walking to and from places, and that, combined with the dialogue made the games tedious and slow. After playing 15 min. into the demo, I found the same problem here.
And if I hear the name 'Kate Walker' one more time, I'm turning off ALL the sound.
I don't recommend this game.

If this game were even another 30 minutes longer, it would have my vote as a four-star. But unfortunately, all I felt at the end was that I didn't get good value for the money. I'm not usually one to care whether the storyline is good or not, since it really doesn't add much to the game, but the end came VERY abruptly, and fell far short of good value.
Sad to say that I did enjoy playing the game - such as it was. So my comment to gamers - stick together and maybe the developers would get it that we like games that entertain us for longer than it takes to air a TV commercial.
I don't recommend this game.

This is one of the best games yet. The time it takes to play is longer than most, and it was refreshing to finally have a Help option that actually tells you something, and to save on the time it takes to travel from place to place, the developers have created a map with the freedom to jump directly to a different location without having to constantly back track. I`m glad that I held out until the SE was released. In many ways it`s better without a strategy guide so I saved myself a few bucks.
Graphics are terrific. The mini games are unique, and most require a bit of thinking. Even the hidden objects are different from other games. Only one negative thing to say - the sparkles that guide you along are difficult see, partly because of the lighting and partly because it`s snowing in many of the outdoor locations.
My hats off to the developers, and looking forward to more like this.

Yet again, at 40 min. the demo time limit for this game fell way short of the promised 60 min. which left me with the impression that the game itself is also short. And since I don't want to waste my money, it's a NO BUY.
There are some aspects of this game that are very different from others. The idea of object association is a novel one, but sometimes the association was a little off the wall. Some fragments were very difficult to find. Lots of back and forth to find objects for the inventory. The mini-games weren't particularly challenging.
For me, there was too much idle chit-chat. Overall, the graphics were o.k., but nothing to set it apart from other games on the market. I can't comment on the music because I always turn it off, nor can I comment on the story either - I make good use of the "skip" key.
I know we all don't like the same thing, and many will like it.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed the game - such as it was. Too short, and some of the hidden objects were almost impossible to find.
Not much more than a 3 for me, but some may enjoy it.
