Nice graphics, nice music. Movement a bit choppy and slow in a few areas, but otherwise nice. SG is clear, although I prefer the standard page set up (my personal preference). Hint system nice. Didn't care for the "clicking" noise that was made when you found a HOG item, but HOGs not messy and not difficult to find (had to really look for a few).
I like the changing rooms with the light switch. Gives you something different to do and makes it more challenging. Not extremely challenging, but kept my interest.
Yes, the storyline is the same, but how many different things can you do before you run out of new ideas (that's why I rated it a "good" storyline). And, as I always say, I play the game, not the story.
I like this game and will purchase this month. For now, I will put it in the puddle and give my checking account a rest. Thanks for the reviews.

Yes, we are back in the "nut house," (the only real minus to this game) but this is a nice game. As I have stated many times before, I play the game, not the story. Clear graphics, nice music, not an over abundance of HOGs, games not difficult (require a bit of brain power on some). Not a bad story line. Didn't have any problems with game play.
Wasn't quite ready for the demo to be over..went by too quickly. Looks like it might be a fairly long game and looking forward to finishing. Nice SE for a change and I will use a credit for this one. Thanks for the reviews.

A little different, challenging. Nice music. Has a bit too much talking when it could have more action. Standard amount of running back and forth. Nice graphics and game play so far.
Yes, another spooky story, but I try to play the game and not the story. Not a bad game and I will probably purchase it in the next few days. Have to watch how many CE games I buy these days. Thanks for the reviews.

Yep, figured out in the first scene that it was taken after "House of Wax." Really liked those Poe stories and especially Vincent Price. That said, the story line is not bad, graphics nice, but a bit grainy (guess it's because it is set in a very old era and trying to get the look of the old time cinema), music gets annoying quickly. I did like the different HOGs, had to think about what to do next. Could have been more voice overs. Games not difficult. Had no problems with game play.
I like this game and will purchase it, as I have another Dark Dimensions game and really like it. Thanks for the reviews.

I thought this was more like the Antique Road Show type games, which I really like, but definitely was not. I got to the library before my time ran out, so I figure I have maybe another 1.5-2 hours of game play. Pretty short game. Graphics nice, music nice, liked the voices. HOGs, had to click multiple times before item would pick up, some items very difficult to see. Hint system not bad, but I prefer systems that do not use the hint when they tell you to exit to another room.
Game play wasn't too bad, but didn't really keep my attention and make me want to continue to the end. I liked the auction and "winning" items for the gallery.
Yes, this is very much like the Winchester story, but it is a nice little game for a beginner or for a rainy day with nothing else to do (my personal opinion only). I will put this in my puddle as a maybe, might purchase.

What a beautiful, warm, sunny day!
Now the review...Nice graphics, music and game play. I like the voice overs, not too many and not long winded like other games. HOGs a bit messy, but not difficult to find items and I like the "extra" step you need to take to find something else. Haven't run across any "hard" games yet. The game walks you through a lot of things, as to what to do in a particular place, or with a particular item, so you don't need to use a lot of brain power (I like a little more challenge - I play these to keep my brain active, not take a nap). Story line is a nice change from the usual ghost junk (although I do like the ghost junk). Didn't really see anything that scared me, just one really ugly pirate (nice job!). Nice, easy to foll SG, that stays on the last page you visited (that is a major plus for me on any game). Didn't use the hint, so can't comment on that part of it. Others have said that there were a lot sparkles, but I didn't notice a lot, except for the HOGs...guess I just ignore that stuff.
That said, I like this game. Looking at the SG, it seems like a nice long game. I will purchase this game.

Not a bad game. I mean it didn't grab me and make me want to get it right a way to see what happens. Graphics are nice, music nice, hint system a bit different. Game moves a little slow. I like the TV show and watch it occasionally, so this a bit fun. Would have been much better with voice overs.
HOGs were a little different with the scrambled words. I play word games, so it wasn't difficult to figure out what I was looking for. Games very simple. It may not sound like it, but I sort of liked this one. I do like a good mystery, but prefer a little more action. Not sure yet if I'm going to purchase or not. Have to think about it a bit...I will wait and see what else comes along in the next day or so.

I have all of the other games from this dev and really liked them. This one really doesn't have anything new. The graphics are very nice, music pretty much the same as the others, game play nice, SG very nice. Story is very predictable. Not overloaded HOGs (I like HOGs#, and items are not difficult to find. Seems to have a few more games, which are fairly simple. I didn't like the fact that you can't lock the tool bar in place #constantly clicking to open it up is very annoying).
Couldn't tell from the SG how long the game was, which I prefer knowing in advance of spending so much. I still had 2 min left in my 1 hour demo, so it would have to be a lot longer in order for me to purchase this game as a CE.
I did like it and and I probably will purchase, but want to see how long it is first. Thanks for the reviews.

Graphics were okay, other than a few blurry and washed out HOGs. Music nice, storyline nice, HOGs messy and games extremely simple. Game play is a bit slow and choppy.
This could have been a very nice game without much help. At least do a spell check and have someone look over the grammar. Use proper wording, e.g. a valve is not a handwheel.
This game is a nice one for a beginner, but not for a seasoned gamer. I personally did not care for it, but others will.
I recommend this game!

Not a bad game, very short demo. I have the first VM game and really liked it. This one is interesting and I do love a good mystery. Nice graphics, music okay, game play a bit choppy. I much prefer an actual "hint" button for a little help when needed and this one doesn't have one. Yes, you can look at the map to see where you need to go, but that really isn't a hint as to what to do next (good thing there is a WT). HOGs fairly simple, as were the games. Odd that the voice-overs are only one sided, but voices very well done and appropriate for the setting.
As I said, I do love a good mystery, so I will use a credit and get this one too. Thanks for the reviews.
