Reveal the twisted plan of a deranged magician who has his own Vendetta against the world! And uncover a secretive world of magicians and discover the power they have held and passed down through the centuries!
Not a bad game, but quite simple (easy HOGs and games). Didn't care for the broken glass FX..silly. Graphics nice. I think I might wait to see if something a bit more challenging comes around real soon.
Very nice game. Clear graphics, very good game play, music is exciting (don't think I have ever said that about the music), HOGs not difficult but items found are appropriate to the game, very little voice overs, very simple games so far. Wonderful SG, didn't use the hint, so don't know about that. Okay, so the people aren't "real," it's about the dogs, not the people. I liked it anyway. Really like the different storyline.
Big dog person, so when I saw the little bulldog, I knew I had to have this game to see where it went. Game drew me in from the beginning. Definite buy for me.
Follow a mad killer in Night In The Opera, a thrilling Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game. An envious alchemist devises a mystical musical instrument capable of drawing the last breath of his victims.
I like combo games but this one was a bit odd and confusing. What I didn't like was that you spent way too much time in the match 3 games. There really wasn't any direction or story line to follow, you just ended up in a place and jumped from a scene to M3 to shopping...why are we shopping? What will these items do for us? Are they used within the game? Would have been much better if there had been instructions at the beginning of the game, so you knew what you were doing.
Graphics were nice, music got annoying fast, no voice-overs. I'm sure anyone who likes mostly M3 games will like this one. I like M3, but not this much. It isn't a bad game, just not for me. Thanks for the reviews.
I don't recommend this game.

Pride & Prejudice: Hidden Anthologies
Explore the rich world of Jane Austen’s most beloved novel, Pride & Prejudice! Enjoy this Hidden Object Adventure and get a new perspective to the classic story.
Wow! Really hoped this game would be a nice SE for a change, but I was way wrong. Graphics are very cartoony, music really gets nerve racking real fast, so much talking that I forget what I was doing in the first place, hint is too weird.
Sorry, but I can't really say anything positive about this one, except that it might appeal to beginners, but not seasoned gamers. To be honest, I wouldn't even recommend it to a beginner. Could have been a very nice games. Maybe tomorrow.
A new breed of virus has spread throughout the City of Oxford. You must search the city for a missing girl who holds the key to stopping the global epidemic!
I have other games from this dev and really like them. This game has a different story line (finally!) and interesting. Like the ability to change more than just the sound and music and make the game more to my style (excellent job). My review is based on the mid level of play.
SG is a bit blurry and has way too much to read. You cannot blow up the picture in the SG to see something more closely. I did not care for how the SG walked you through every single step in the HOG. There is a list of items, I don't need the SG to tell me extactly what to find and how to use it (that's part of the game#. I wish the devs would decide where to put the SG and leave it there. Under the hint is the wrong place.
You go from real to computer generated people, which is okay. Would be nice if you use one or the other. The voice-overs are well done and appropriate to the story line.
HOGs are a bit junky but not difficult, but I do like how they are set up for play #a little different). Games not difficult and music isn't bad. Other than the HOGs and the pictures in the SG being blurry, the game actually has nice graphics and game play. I do like this game and will most likely purchase and yes, I was pulled in by the story, but because of the reviews regarding the SG not showing anything past chapter 2, I will wait to see if this gets fixed first.
I have Mystic Diary Haunted and really liked it. Didn't care for Lost Brother though and not kicked out about this one either. Graphics aren't bad, but a bit old school; music okay; sound you get when you find a HO is very annoying; HOGs are dark and some items very difficult to see; games are the usual stuff. Did not care for the hint system...very different and not helpful at all.
I got to the end of chapter 5 when my demo time ran out, so it looks like a very short game and very simple in order for me to get that far in a short period of time. I am no speed demon, but I don't just skip along either. This would be a nice game for a beginner (and that is why I recommend it) but not challenging for a seasoned gamer.
Could have been a very nice game without much work.No buy for me today. Thanks for the reviews.
Not sure how I missed this when it first came out as a CE, but I did. Yes, there is a lot of running back and forth, but the game play and graphics are very nice. The music is quite enjoyable for a change, nice HOGs (not difficult), and fairly easy games. Yes, we are again rescuing someone, but the story is interesting and a bit different.
The SG was good, except the print needed to be a bit larger.
The only thing that puzzled me was that when you first meet the maid she is "a real person," but just before she begins to speak, she turns into a computer generated person and later back into a real person again. Don't know if this goes on throughout the game, but it was very odd. Especially since the gardener remained a real person when spoken to.
The game did challenge me enough to grab my attention and seems to be fairly long. Therefore, I am going to purchase the full CE version. Thanks for the reviews.
Actually giving this one a 3.5 rating. Not a bad game, but could use a little help. Graphics were a bit fuzzy in some areas, but mostly clear, voice-overs nice, HOGs not too bad (fairly easy), games took a little thought but not too difficult. Music got old real fast.
Flowers you need to find are very small and very dark. Not really sure why you need to spend the coins. Doesn't really get you anything you need to play the game.
The SG isn't bad, but will not stay on the last page you visited. The chapters need page numbers so you don't spend time looking to find out which page you were last on. Very annoying.
Got almost to the end of the 4th chapter before my time ran out. Personally, I felt it moved a bit slowly and didn't challenge me as much as I thought it would. If it only takes one hour to get through almost 4 chapters, it won't last much longer for the full version. All in all it was a nice game, but not sure I want to spend CE money on this game. This one is going in my puddle as a maybe later.
As usual, Elephant Games did not disappoint. Excellent graphics, and game play. Story line a little different for a change. Very nice SG. HOGs are not difficult, but take some time to find some items. Games very nice. Hint system is sort of fun (I like the little gnome, or ogre, or whatever he is).
The only thing I did not like about this game is that is way too quiet. Music, what music? I too have fallen for the voice of the Archer (sigh).
From the looks of the SG, this seems to be a nice long game. I had just started the 2nd chapter when the demo time quit. I really like this game and I personally think it is well worth the CE price. This is a definite buy for me.
Well, same story different day, but not a bad game. I have two of the other Haunted Hotel games and really liked them, but not sure about this one yet. Graphics not bad, HOGs clear and quite simple, game play nice, hint system nice, games not dificult but take a little time, SG could be a bit more specific (when you are on one side of the property and need to get to the other without a map to see where you are in the first place, it's a bit difficult). Might want to also check the spelling and grammar in the SG...got a few errors.
I think this would have been much better with a little more sound. Half the time there isn't even any music and gets quite boring just running around. Didn't care for the long blackout pause between scenes either. Was that the haunted part? I saw nothing haunted in the demo, just an old run down house. Hopefully there is more as the game progresses.
Had 27 minutes left on my demo time, so not quite sure how long this is, since there is no hint in the SG. All in all, I did like the game, but not love it. It didn't grab my attention like the other HH games did. Mostly because it was way to quiet and didn't build you up to the next step. I will put this one in the puddle and think about it a while before deciding if I want to purchase and add it to my pond of games.
