This one was interesting and different. I'm not a big card player, but I really enjoy Fairway and Legends and play them frequently. I like the idea of playing for "something," in order to move on in the game and not just a straight solitaire game.
The music got very annoying very quickly (thus the down grade for sound quality). Graphics were nice and clean and the game play was very good. Would have been nice to be able to change the cards to something else (maybe it was there and I just didn't see it). Only down graded the level of challenge because the challenge is in how well you play the cards.
I already have two solitaire games, so will have to think on this one a bit more. I did like it, so I will put it in the puddle for the near future. Thanks for the reviews.

The Agency of Anomalies: The Last Performance Collector's Edition
Expose a secret brotherhood called The Seekers and save the performers of the theatre who became the brotherhood’s victims.
Well, darn, what a great offer today...I already have the other two Anomalies games and really liked them. This one did not disappoint either. I was drawn in from the very beginning.
Excellent graphics, music and game play. Nice SG, interesting and fun games. Nice HOGs. I really like the fact that the chapters are all listed, so you can get an idea of how long the game may be. I had 14 minutes left on my demo when the game ended, so I know I have a few more hours of play. Looks to be a nice long game. Definite buy for me, which I already did.
Thanks for the reviews.

The Dreamatorium of Dr. Magnus
Step into the shoes of detective Sarah Green and solve the mystery of Dr. Magnus' disappearance in this beautiful Hidden Object adventure game!
What a nice little game. As you can tell, I liked it. Yes, a lot of shoe leather was used, but it was fun. Graphics were nice, game play very nice, music soothing. Good hint system (recharges fairly quickly), but not much help unless there is actually something to do in whatever area you are in. A little different story for a change.
At first, I didn't think I would care for it at all, but once you get into the game, it's very different. It sort of drags you into it. Looks to be a fairly long SE (what a shocker!). We've had so many duds lately, that this one was refreshing.
Needed a litle voice over here and there to keep the story moving. The only thing I didn't like about it was the fact that you could not switch to the system cursor. I don't care for those big, clunky cursors that so many devs want to use. A magic wand would have worked though.
Anyway, I am going to use a game credit on this one. I found it quite enjoyable. Thanks for the reviews.

Alchemy Mysteries: Prague Legends
Follow orphan Eva on a trip to mystical Prague. Will she find out about her Royal origins, find real love, and save the world from a monster? It’s all up to you.
This game could have been quite good, but just missed the mark for me. Not a bad game at all. However, I don't care for the "moving" screen system this has, and the good looking male does not have the voice to fit the face...needs to be deeper, sexier, maybe with an accent. They are suppose to be in Prague, not Jersey.
Game play is nice, music nice, story line good but not great, HOGs very simple, a little different games but fairly easy. The game moved quite slowly. Maybe it picks up as it goes, but the "assistant" seems to be someone who was added as an after thought. Doesn't flow with the rest of the games.
This would be an okay game for one of those "nothing better to do" days. I would like to see the length of the game before I decide to purchase or not. This is going in my puddle for now. Might get it later.
Thanks for the reviews.

Angelica Weaver: Catch Me When You Can Collector’s Edition
Be the detective: Catch the killer in the present and the past!
After so many duds, it is nice to see something fairly nice. Not a bad game. Graphics okay, but not great, voice-overs good but would be nice if the mouth actually moved and not just the head. Head bobs up and down whenever you find something. Music okay. Not a lot of HOGs, but they are pretty clean.
I wasn't kicked out about this game, especially for a CE. I will probably wait for the SE, but not sure I want to waste my money or a credit. I'm sure others will enjoy.
Thanks for the reviews.

Mystic Legacy: The Great Ring
Uncover the dark legacy hidden within a Romanian castle to save your friend from an evil spirit!
Rather fun for a silly little game. Game play is easy and nice, hint system good, music nice, HOGs simple, games easy. Graphics are a bit old school, but not bad at all. Didn't run into any voice-overs in the demo, but could have used a few here and there.
This is a nice little game for a no brainer, lazy day like today. I liked it and I will buy it and take advantage of the sale today. Thanks for the reviews.

Mystika: Between Light and Shadow
The magic world of Lumina needs a new hero! It's up to you to face Tenebria, the queen of the dark world in the original Match 3 game, Mystika!
Hmmm. Not a bad game, but not a good one either (my personal opinion only). Very cartoon like graphics, music okay, game play not bad. I'm not a real fan of M3 games, but I do like to branch out occasionally. This one appealed to me because it was a combo M3 and HOG. However, the HOGs were extremely simple. I don't mind M3 once in a while, but constantly does wear on the nerves. Especially when a bat or bird or whatever keeps popping up, and you have to keep clicking on it to get rid of it...annoying. Did not like the fact that you can't choose if you want a tutorial and/or a custom cursor. Don't give us options for game play if you aren't really going to let us have a choice.
I would recommend this game for a beginner, or an older child, but definitely not for me. Too bad, I was hoping to use the special this weekend, but not this time.

The World's Legends: Kashchey the Immortal
The beautiful Tsaritsa has been kidnapped! Help the young Tsarevich save his dear mother from an evil sorcerer!
Not sure how I missed this when it first came out, but I sure did. Not a bad little game. Graphics okay mostly, but some areas a bit odd, e.g. digging out the horse. Music gets very annoying very quickly..the same few notes all the time. Hint system isn't much help when it point up in the air and there is nowhere to go.
HOGs simple but take some thought. Games very simple. Not a lot of direction and a lot of shoe leather running back and forth. Nice game for a beginner, but not for a seasoned HOG veteran. No buy for me.
Thanks for the reviews.

Gothic Fiction: Dark Saga Collector's Edition
Rescue your daughter, Hannah, from the clutches of an evil witch before it's too late in this chilling Hidden Object adventure game!
I love ERS games and have them all. The graphics and game play in this one is up to their usual standard...excellent. Not sure about the story line yet, but really liked the voice-overs - very appropriate for each character. Games very simple so far, and I finished the demo with 12 minutes left. Nice SG, didn't use the hint so don't know about that.
Since I am a die-hard HOG player (and some adventure), personally I think this game would have benefited from a few HOGs. This is the only reason I rated this one a 4.5...we need a half star. Chasing a spirit and putting things together to move on in the game just isn't quite enough. It would have been a definite buy for me then, but not sure right now. Would also like to see how many chapters it has before deciding to purchase as well.
All in all, excellent game. This one goes in my puddle for future thought. Thanks for the reviews.

Inbetween Land
Your friend, Mary, disappears and it's up to you to save her. Uncover an exotic land with unearthly secrets as you find and help your friend leave the flying island.
I really like this type of game, but found that finding the parts needed was extremely easy. No real challenge to it. Loved the graphics "within" the game and the voice-overs, but the in between graphics were a bit cartoony. Nice music, same games, nothing new here. Little different story line, nice game play.
Can't tell how long the game is, but other post say "very short." I don't even like to waste a credit on a very short game (under 3 hours). It is still money down the drain. No buy for me, but a nice game otherwise. Nice game for a beginner and even for a grade schooler.
We are desperately in need of a very nice SE for a change. Thanks for the reviews.
