I had tried the CE and was disappointed in that the SG wasn't working well. I see that they fixed that, but didn't see that it was CE worthy. The SE is a very nice game. Grahics and game play are very good, music not too bad either. Games not difficult but take a bit of thought.
HOGs were clean, but very difficult to see a lot of the items. Color in HOGs was either very washed out or none existant.
The story is nothing new, but the game was fun. Not particularly challenging but enough to keep me interested. Demo was very short (had 18 minutes left to play), so probably a very short game as well.
I am going to purchase this game, only because I have already lost one credit this past week and really don't want to waste any more money and lose another this week. We have very few SE games worth purchasing these days, which is extremely frustrating and very maddening.
As always, try it for yoursefl and see what you think. We all have different tastes in game and you may not care for this one at all. Thanks for the reviews.
I recommend this game!

Well, I was excited to see a new RC game. I have the other 3 and really liked them all. This one is a bit different. Graphics and game play are the usual exceptional ERS. Not a lot of HOG's so far, which I was disappointed in. Games not difficult but do take some thought. Music quiet, which is nice. Not a lot of background sounds in this game. Did not care for the sound you get when you find an item...annoying.
Like the dog and the need to find things related to him. Not too sure about the raven. Seems out of place and I wasn't kicked out about the mini games you had to play when you find the elements. There didn't seem to be any purpose for them, except to recharge the elements and that doesn't fit the story line at all.
Speaking of story, it is a little different for a change. Looks like you will meet different spirits and have to accomplish different tasks for themm which isn't anything new, in order to move through the game. The game moved a bit slow and I wasn't sitting on the edge of my chair when the demo ended, nor did it make me want to rush out and buy it. However, since I have the other 3, and I do like the game, I will get this one as well. Just don't know if I will buy the CE...tired of spending my money on CE games and needing to purchase any old SE just so I don't lose my credits.
As always, try it for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games and you may not care for this one at all. Thanks for the reviews.

Very nice graphics, clear and clean. Game play very good, no problems or glitches. HOG's are quite fun with numerous things to do in them (interactive items are in light blue, but I found the blue to be almost to light to see). Games are not difficult but do take a little thought to complete.
Did anyone else notice the backward "N" in the notes? Just seemed a bit childish. They are suppose to be 34, but Vera's hand looked much older. Small unimportant things, but noticeable.
Voice overs are well done (always a plus for me). Jump map is also a major plus in any game that requires retracing your steps. SG is very well done and quite helpful, as is the hint system, which fills fairly quickly (who wants to waste game time waiting for that). I especially like the sea sounds. I am a water baby and love the beach, and these sounds were awesome. Really makes the game more realistic.
I found this game quite fun and have the need to see where it is going. It is challenging without being frustrating (even the morphing objects are fun). I think this one will appeal to all level of players. Even though I am trying not to buy CE games, I have to add this one to my collection.
As always, try it for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games and you may not care for this one at all. Thanks for the reviews.

I happen to like HOG's and I have a lot of games with a timer, but this one is just too much and the timer is way too short, even for an expert gamer. Graphics seem a bit old school and not crisp. Game play was a bit disappointing in that I had to click on an object more than once or twice to get it to pick up, which of course messed with the "timer." There are some instructions to the game, but it doesn't explain all of it.
As I said, I like HOG's and have a number of straight HOG games. This one just didn't grab me. Too many things to try to accomplish at the same time and just got very confusing and frustrating. Not challenging like an adventure HOG with a story to follow, or a reason to go here or get that.
This could have been a fun game, but fell short for me. No buy today either. As always, try it for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games and you may find it quite enjoyable. Unless I truly hate a game (which is very, very seldom, I will always recommend it so you will at least try it). Thanks for the reviews.

Well, didn't care for the first game, bought the second, but not too sure about this one. The graphics and game play were nice. HOGs okay, but a lot of odd and unusable items are mixed in and make it sort of junky. Did not care for the annoying sound you get when you find an object. Games very simple.
There is way too much dialogue and no skip on most of it. I really like voice overs, but Anna sounds bored and makes some really stupid remarks. The lead in scene is way too long as well and does not do a good job of setting you up for the game play. If you didn't play the 1st of 2nd, you won't know what's going on, other than one twin hates the other.
Hint system is nice and fills quickly. The SG is okay, but when you blow up a picture, it is very blurry. This game was not challenging to me and is in desperate need of some new voices, with some feeling. It sounds like someone is just reading and is quite boring. The more I say, the less I like it. No buy for me.

I have the other two games and really liked them. Sometimes you just need to get away from the dark and gloomy and have a little fun. This game is it. Graphics and game play are excellent. HOGs are fun. I enjoy "decorating" the place up.
Music is the same as in the other two, but who cares. Adding Mom and Dad is a nice change. Coins are a bit hard to see in some areas and the questionmark is almost impossible to see in a lot of scenes...too dark. I just spend a little extra time finding it.
This is the first game, out of hundreds, that I bought without even trying out the demo. This is just way too much fun. Next time, I think he needs a "love" interest, then a "wedding." This series could almost be endless. Yes, you are doing the same thing in every game, but it is a very nice change of pace.
As always, try it for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games and you may not care of this one at all. Thanks for the reviews.

I read the reviews, but always try a game for myself. I may like it when you don't. However, this game left a lot to be desired. Graphics and game play were okay. HOGs simple, games simple. Didn't use the hint button, so not sure how quickly it recovers.
The heavy breathing was a bit much. Wondering where items went when you clicked on one in a HOG was beyond silly. The dialogue was very childish and the voice over made this person sound rather boring and stupid. To be honest with you, I think it is even below a beginner level. There was no challenge to the game. Not because there were a lot of HOGs (I happen to like HOGs), but it just didn't have that extra something that makes you want to continue playing. No, I will not be purchasing this game.

Have the first three games and liked them, but this one is quite different. You just sort of start in the middle of nowhere and progress from there. Graphics and game play aren't bad. Music not too bad. HOGs are okay but a bit junky. Nice hint system, and it filled quickly. Games simple.
Personally, I feel voice overs make a game a lot more interesting, but these voices grated on my nerves for some reason. Don't know why, but I almost wish there hadn't been any at all.
As I said, this game is different from the others. There wasn't enough "action" to keep me interested. The game moved very slowly and I got bored. This one is more for a beginner than an expert player. A game has to be "really, really" bad for me not to recommend it to others, even if it wasn't for me.
That said, try it for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games and you may find it quite enjoyable. Thanks for the reviews.

Well, I have the other two games in this series and really enjoyed them. The graphics and game play are very nice. Voice overs very nice (always a plus). Games simple but take a bit of thought. Music nothing special, so I usually always turn it down low.
I do like the HOGs. Something different for a change and I am a major jigsaw puzzler and can put those together much faster than finding an object. I like the different shapes as well. Well done.
There wasn't anything really special about this one, except for finding the "extras." I don't know, maybe I'm just tired of the same old game with a new name. This one wasn't really challenging, nor exciting to me, but it was good enough for me to purchase to add to my collection. I'm just not sure it is CE worthy. Not spending the bucks on CE's these days, unless it really grabs my attention. I definitely will get the SE or the CE...have to think about it for a bit.
Anyway, try it for yourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in games and you may absolutely love this one and just have to have it. Thanks for the reviews.

Well, I have the first two games in this series and really liked them. This one leaves a lot to be desired. The graphics were nice, but nothing special. Game play was nice. Games very simple (getting pretty good at the string game). HOGs not too bad, but almost too many of the "do this to get that." Hint system nice and fills quickly. SG was good.
Okay, now to the nitty gritty...the story didn't really flow. Why chop up a tree to go somewhere when you don't even need to go there yet? Why get a piece of rope for no apparent reason..get it when you need it. You are doing things before you have a reason to and it makes the game very choppy, and in some cases, it didn't make an sense at all. I did have to laugh at "I heard a tree fall in the forest"....really!
I agree with the negatives on the voice overs. They make a game for me and when you hear the same couple of voices trying to sound different, it just doesn't cut it. In the very first scenes, the voices repeated phrases and didn't keep up with the printed text. This game definitely needed some work before it was released. I do feel this could be a very nice game with a couple of fixes, but definitely not CE the way it is now. I may wait for the SE, but not sure. This one just didn't grab me and keep my attention.
As always, try it fo ryourself and see what you think. We all have different tastes in game and you may not care for this one, or you may find it to your liking. Thanks for the reviews.
