No instructions, just guess. I clicked on everything I could see and all I got was what looked like a set of keys with remote. The only other thing I got to do was read some newspapers and kill some crows. The first scene looked as if it was drawn by my 8 year old grandson on a bad day. Just pencil drawings. I have played some bad games in my time. This one takes the prize. And to top it all off, after I exited the game and tried to uninstall it, I was told it couldn't be uninstalled because the game was still running. I was able to uninstall it after doing a hot reboot. I don't know how some of the other reviewers were able to give a high rating on such a bad game. It certainly was not enjoyable. I know I will not be buying this game. It would be a waste of money.

The music that played throughout the game was boring, but I turn it down so it's barely audible, then it doesn't bother too much. Some of the colours are too much alike - too close in shade, that it can be difficult to see the difference and tell where you have already filled in the squares, and some of the colours are so pale you can't tell if the square is filled in or not. The puzzles with just 3 or 4 colours are okay, but once you get more than 4 colours the puzzles are soooo easy they don't mean anything. Puzzles are supposed to be just that - puzzles, which are supposed to make you think, exercise the brain, stop things from being so boring. This is one of those puzzle games that is a good one for the novice player (or child) to play so they can get used to the genre, but would be too boring for intermediate or expert.
I don't recommend this game.

Hated every second of it, and I actually lasted 13 minutes (unlucky 13?). No voice-over, had to read every single thing - including when you clicked on something and it told (wrote) you what it was. Dreary, boring noises when you actually did something. Not even music, just a noise. Couldn't find anything which explained anything at all. Just had to click around until I hit on the right thing to gather/do/whatever. Colour was dull as well. If everything else would have been okay, the story-line would have been fine, but the rest was so dull and boring that even the story-line can't save it. I definitely do not recommend this game.

I don't usually purchase CE editions - especially immediately after the trial game. However - in this case - it was a must. I played the full demo, even forgot to see how long it took. I'll be sat here now until I finish the game - good job it's Saturday. The storyline - going through a portal to another world - has been done before, but this one has very good interaction; the graphics are very well done, and there is enough to do so you will not get bored. You can switch the level of difficulty to suit anyone. Even the most expert player will enjoy this game. There is a good mix of old-world, futuristic, alien, and other planetary systems to make for a fun game. You do not know what, who, or when you are going to meet or end up with in the next scene. I agree with all of the previous reviewers - some thing I don't usually do, and give this game all thumbs up and very highly recommend it.

There is no skip-through on the intro, you have to sit through the whole dreary thing. In fact - dark and dreary is a good description. There is no colour, just black, brown, and white. The figures are the opposite of stick men. They are little, round, featureless blobs. I can draw better than that - and I'm no artist. I have never seen such an uninteresting, blah game. I managed a whole 2 minutes of the game after the intro, and that was only because I couldn't get out of it. I had to switch off and reboot. This game should have gone into the trash can.

It took me a grand total of 27 minutes to play the demo. There are only 2 levels - beginner and expert. I did not use any tutorials, just went straight into the game. The language is obviously translated but understandable. Everything was so predictable, no new twists and the only games were basically the HOG's. And in each one that I played, once you had found everything (nothing hidden from view) you were given something which had absolutely nothing to do with the HOG. The basic premise behind the story-line, which was completely explained in the first couple of sentences of the game description, would have been good if the games themselves had a bit more to them. This game would be a good introduction into these types of games for an absolute novice, but for the intermediate and expert level players I do not recommend it.

These mosaics were fun and interesting to play originally. Now they are sooooo booooooring with the extra colours. You don't have to try to imagine what the design is when you begin, just go to the next colour and you will instantly see what goes where. These new (too many) colours do not make you think and don't hold your interest. They are so easy a five-year-old can do them without any mistakes.

I couldn't even play the trial. Why did you change the size format. I used to enjoy the Haunted Legends series until you changed it. I haven't changed anything, even my monitor is the same one I started with. Now I can't even read the menu lists on the sides because it is so stretched out. I was lucky this time when clicking all round the edge that I actually found the exit button. In the past I have had to switch off my computer and reboot before I could exit out of the game. It's a total pain in the you-know-what. I definitely do not recommend this game.

I started playing the mosaics puzzles as a way to pass time. The story-line was interesting enough at the beginning but that is also becoming boring, and the droning background music is so repetitious I'm starting to switch it off. The first few were actually challenging. They got less and less challenging with each new colour. They are so easy to do now with 6 colours even a first grader can do them. Even the colours are getting worse. I'll be passing this one over.
This game is the same old over-done theme. Normally I like the Myths series but this one is so old-hat. Go ahead one step only to move back two steps because you have to find something else (or do another same-old game) two scenes before that you could have done earlier but you had to go ahead first.Maybe one day when I'm really bored I might consider getting the standard edition but there is no way I would waste my time with the collectors edition. This game is definitely not up to your usual standard.
