I love these types of games and this one is cute but it puts me to sleep. Gathering resources takes forever and the characters move so slowly that the game becomes boring.
I really liked the futuristic setting, space ships, robot workers, etc. That made this different from other games like it. And the game play and graphics were done very well. But it could be a little too slow and repetitive for me. It's the same basic thing over and over. The upper levels do provide a challenge, and most of the time, I liked that part. But a few got a little too difficult, where there's no hint as to what you're supposed to do. I'm probably a little hard to please, but if I have to replay a level four and five and six times, I'm bored and moving on. So, a walkthrough or hint section included in the game would've been nice. I'll also admit I hated having to tear down the exact thing you have to build...only to have to build it again later, just because you needed parts (or money...or both). To me, that's such a waste of time. So overall, I gave this 3 stars.
These resource gathering games are one of my favorites types of game to play. It's easy and relaxing. But a lot of them are monotonous. It's the same thing over and over for 50 levels, and sometimes they're just so boring they put me to sleep. This one kept me engaged. The whole buy from Peter to pay Paul in order to gather resources was frustrating and honestly, after a while, a little annoying. BUT...it kept me thinking. I also loved that the settings for each level matched the storyline, making them each unique. And each level was just challenging enough without being so hard you want to tear your hair out. Enjoyed this one.
Like others have said, this game gets too hard too quickly. Customers come in too quickly, they get mad quickly, and there's no build up to it. It's just boom...hard. Like from level 2, and it just gets worse from there. I like to play games for relaxation, and this one just leaves me frustrated.
I like resource gathering games like this, and I love the theme, but the gameplay was a little boring for me. That Alice needs to run back to her base after every single thing she does (whether she's carrying something back or not) is annoying and takes up more time than needed. And watching them all run circles and having to sit there and wait until they're done doing all the cued up stuff before you can do more takes forever (even with the speed boost). I'm falling asleep after 2 levels and have to quit and come back later. So, I like the idea of it, but it's very repetitive and thus gets boring very quickly.
I love this series, and this was terrific. I love that everything works the way it should (aka never any glitches). The characters and setting are cute and interesting, so that it's not monotonous and I'm bored after 5 levels. And this one was just different enough. Loved the whole space theme and the extra "pills." Really good game.
I have mixed feelings on this one. I like the idea of it. The characters are cute and the setting is beautifully done. Game play is fast and good. I like the whole flying dragon thing, where it earns you something useful. And I love that you can click to help the guys finish a task faster.
But...I absolutely hate the wizards. There are a few levels where you can't get anything done, because the wizards are popping up nonstop. I just finished one. Two wizards, popping up non-stop until you make enough houses to get 5 guys and earn the supplies needed (50 gold and food) to destroy their portals. That's very annoying. I have the game set on relaxed, but to be honest, that's not relaxing. At all. Too much clicking needed for this one. Sorry.
I love these games, but this one just seems to move a little slow. Waiting for the little guys to run from place to place takes forever, and I find myself falling asleep waiting. If we could make them run faster, give them little boosts of energy or maybe have more of them, I think this game would be better.
I loved this addition to the Delicious games. As with new games from them, it wasn't without it's challenges. There were a few challenges that didn't work the way they were supposed to, and the game overall was sllooww. Also, quite often too many customers are bombarding you at once, so it's really hard to keep up with everything. So, I probably won't replay going for the perfect scores, but I really enjoyed the story line. Very sweet.
This is a very basic "Delicious" sort of game, a lot like the very first Delicious games. Same sounds, same type of game play. It's even got a cat in place of Carl the mouse. Even though it's really basic, and you play the same thing over and over and over, I like it. What I don't like about is that there are times when the customers come in droves, more than you can handle, and the controls feel almost glitchy. It takes so much time, for example, to make a platter of macaroon cookies or an ice cream cone. So you're not able to click fast. And while you're waiting for the game to catch up, more customers are coming in. And I've got the game set to beginner. I gave up on the third chapter. Too many customers coming in, no upgrades available to help you deal with it all, and I'm clicking on things that aren't taking. So I have to click again. Delicious games just work better.
