This is a good game with interesting features. There are 2 game modes. - The sound is not too boring. - The graphics are clear. The objects in the HOS are easy to find. There are many other objects to find in the various locations. - Most of the puzzles are easy, but some are really challenging and need quite some time to solve. - There is an interactive map, showing you where there are tasks and enabling you to jump to the location. - You get various strengths, helpful to find objects. - You get also various achievements throughout the game. - There is no journal. - The dialogs are sometimes quite long, but can be skipped. Without skipping any puzzle or dialog, it takes a bit more than 2 1/2 hours. But there are so many things to do, that I didn't find the game to be too short.
Another ERS game! As usual, the graphics are gorgeous! The storyline is interesting. There are 2 game modes, both of them with sparkles. There is a journal, summary of the story, and a map, but the game is linear: when a location is complete, you won't return. The HOS are clear. The puzzles are very easy. There are only hints in the HOS. The game is short, a bit more than 2 hours. But I didn't mind!
I love FROG and this is one of the best! There are 3 game modes. The graphics are wonderful, the sound is good. The FROS are clear. The puzzles are sometimes challenging, but mostly quite easy. There is a helpful map and a task list. There are also different objects to collect, for example 20 morphing objects, not easy to find. It took me 3 hours for the main part. The bonus chapter is about 30 minutes long. It's not really adding to the story. So the SE would be enough, if you don't need the Strategy Guide.
Although the beginning of the game can seem a bit strange, I recommend not to give up. It gets better and better. There are 2 game modes. The fairy and the nessie are cute and helpful. The HOS are clear. The puzzles are sometimes challenging. There is a good interactive map, useful because of all the locations. The music is also appropriate. I needed 2 hours for the main part, and a bit more than 1 hour for the bonus chapter, which is also real good.
This is again a game for a small break. I played in Expert mode and needed a bit more than 1 1/2 hours to finish. The graphics are beautiful. The HOS are clear. The puzzles are interesting. There is a small "journal" and no map. The storyline is interesting. You can get up to 30 achievements. All in all, a short game that I would recommend as a DD.
This is a good game for a little break. The storyline is good. There are 2 game modes; I played in expert mode, which also has sparkles. The graphics are clear. The HOS are sometimes a bit dark. The puzzles are quite easy. There is no journal and no map, but it's ok, since the game is so easy. The hint system recharges after a minute. The game is very short; it took me 1 1/2 hours to finish. I would recommend this game for beginners, as a DD, or as I said before, for a small break.
This game is like no other I've played so far. You have to rescue your beloved on an island that appears only every 300 years, and where cyclops live. There are 2 game modes. - The graphics are wonderful, crisp. - The sound is adding to the atmosphere. - You have a map that you will need! - The HOS are clear. The puzzles are unique, no too hard. - You also have to find 60 strawberries. There is a lot to do and I played the whole game without a break, it's sooo beautiful! It took me nearly 4 hours to finish. I really wish there would be more games like this one!
This is an interesting game with a good storyline. You have to free ghosts from another baaad ghost. It's more a HOPA than a HOG. There are 2 gamemodes. - The graphics are good, a bit cartoonish. - The HOS are clear. - The puzzles are easy but interesting. - You have a journal, but it's more a summary than a real help. The clues you find don't appear in it, so you have to remember them. - There is no map and a lot of to and fro. It took me approx. 3 hours to finish. All in all, it lacked the vow factor, but I think it's still worth buying.
Prepare for a mind-bending journey into the realm of the weird in Haunted Halls: Revenge of Dr. Blackmore! Brace yourself for the unexpected in this exciting Hidden Object adventure!
If you like the other games of the series, then you should get this one too! The crazy doc is back and you have to save four persons. I played first in Advanced mode but there is too much help, so I switched to Hard Core. - The graphics are beautiful, crisp. - The objects in the HOS are easy to find. - The puzzles are really interesting and not too hard. - You have a journal but no map. You don't need one since each chapter is in another location. - The hint system is of the type "nothing to do here". - The music is adding to the creepy atmosphere and the voice-overs are good. - The game is not too short; it took me about 3 hours to finish. The game is not as challenging as the previous ones, but I enjoyed every minute and would be happy to meet the doctor again!
This creepy story comes with wonderful graphics! The HOS are not junk piles; the objects are easy to find. The puzzles are quite easy but interesting. It's more a HOPA than a HOG. You have a journal and no map; but despite a lot of to and fro, you won't get lost. You also have to find pieces of a record. The hint system shows you the way. The game is not very long; it took me a bit more than 2 hours. But with these graphics and sound, I had a pleasant time!
