I loved this game, best in a long time. finally hidden object like it should be, with great games. I am in love with the artwork and the voices. I am not a fan of modern scenery and gadgets. if you like the old time eye candy, give it a try, it will GROW on you
I recommend this game!

I don't care how others rate these games, I love them for the visuals. nobody draws people better, its like ERS was, every game they draw is a buy for me. love the old mansions and cemeteries
I recommend this game!

I honestly can't figure out what would be disappointing I loved it and I played it all including the bonus. the puzzles and mini games were great, loved the HOs. But i'm a bit bias because I can't get enough of the hand drawn graphics, this is my eye candy fix.
I want the same old mansions and gates, I look forward to it, please don't change. these games are a must buy for me. you can keep your computer cities i'll take the hand drawn castles!
Nobody creates people like ERS does and the voices are fantastic.
i'm an expert but I still like to relax and enjoy. try it I hope you enjoy it too!

don't get the poor reviews at all! If I could only buy games from one developer it would be ERS.

for me just being an ERS game is enough, but then you make it another of a series, especially Puppetshow, then you have me at hello!
easily my favorite series. it does deviate a bit but that's ok cuz I was afraid the series was over.
the artistry is fab as always, real eye candy.
love the HO's and mini games

I knew it was an ERS as soon as I saw the sample video, an immediate buy for me!
It's all in the hand drawn art work, I just can't get enough.
The rabbit had me at " follow me".
This is a delightful story with beautiful scenery, loved going in and out of the different books.
as usual great mini games and puzzles, love the hogs, list and find 16 of etc.
great family fun and it takes over as my new favorite ERS, which everybody knows takes up 85% of my queue.
I played this game for days and hated to see it end, most games I find myself wanting the game to end, as they get a bit tedious.
a must try for you an easy buy for me enjoy!

I personally love their games and look forward to them. I don't want them to change. I love the hand drawn artwork and the people are excellent, though it does bother me that the lips don't move anymore, which is why I take a star away.
I don't care for city scenes and modern things in my games, prefer villages, castles, fantasy, mythology. I prefer fun and relaxing and eye candy to fast and challenging[ I get that at work].
I don't usually write a review on the demo only but needed to voice the positives.
well so far so good. I always like how they add the past " salesmen " into the next games. you collect coin to buy needed accessories.
you collect butterflies for points for something, didn't get into that yet.

So ERS please don't change, most of us love you just as you are and for those that don't, they produce different types under different names. to each their own, happy gaming

when other reviews said it wasn't like the original, I was glad and had to buy it, I didn't like the first it was a play and delete for me. I don't like when a game changes time period, like when they where dressed old England then end up in an American amusement park yeck.
this game is not overly challenging but fun and relaxing, like I said it reminds me of an ERS game, which is the drawing and scenery I cant resist.
I have to replay it cuz I didn't find all the collectibles and morphs. there are 35 snowflakes, 12 scrolls and 10 morphs.
the morphs are only in the HOs and only in the main game same as all the collectibles which surprised me.

gotta love detective Dupin! if you don't know him, you got to try these games, if you do know him then you are as glad to see him as I am.
wonderful game, has the eye candy, a must have for me, this is about the only type of graphics I buy, hand drawn rules.
not a ton of HOs [varied] good puzzles and mini games, and lots of running around but there's a jump map.
coins to collect to buy equipment so you can check blood ,prints and ballistics at the end of the game.

The cons- the voice overs were not good! they are now American, and that includes Dupins voice.
Mr. Vallejo I was surprised to see your name at the top of the ERS cast, but please put the detective back to prime order, and what is with the lips not moving anymore? ERS is the best with beautiful drawn people whose lips move in sync with the dialogue, correction, was the best, please fix this. I had to take away 1 star for that.

these are the graphics I'm talking about, colorful and hand drawn, eye candy for me.
lots to do, lots to do, I was so caught up in playing that I forgot to look for the fairies and morphs, needless to say I didn't find them all so I definitely will have to play again, which is a nice surprise for me cuz so many are play and delete. I'm gonna keep this one around awhile in my queue of about 80.
interesting journal, though I didn't get it to reveal every story, i'll have to check that out, another reason for replay haha
