I bought this game about 2 years ago and decided to finally play it & was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I loved everything about it. the characters, graphics, music, mini-games and HOGS, beautiful Tibetan style artwork. Please read the well written reviews posted by my fellow Fishies....it is usually their reviews that sell me on trying and usually buying a new (and sometimes old) games. I am giving this beauty a full 5***** out of 5***** on my personal enjoy-ability scale :)
WOW, I just completed Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger 7 , and loved it !!! You know that some games you wish would hurry up and end? For me, personally,,I wish this game was much longer. I usually keep a lighter game such as this one on my desktop and play on and off during the day :) If you love seeing people enjoying their vacations at a National Park , I think you will like this series as well as the Cruise Director series and if you are unfamiliar with these games keep in mind that some of the objects are very well hidden ; ). I am giving this great HOG a full 5***** out of 5***** on my personal enjoy-ability scale :)
My fellow fishies have written great descriptions about the game so I am just tell you my feelings about playing the game. I actually enjoyed most of the mini-games & skipped none (which for me is unusual), and the HOPS were wonderful. The graphics, music and background sounds were fitting and just fine. Loved the colors and finding the Collectables which the Map shows if you missed any :) I admit that I played this one on Casual for the relaxed gameplay I was in the mood for. My only complaint was the seemingly abrupt end of the Bonus game but I have a feeling it is a prep for the next one ; ) I recommend this beauty and and am giving it a 5* out of 5* on my personal enjoy-ability scale : )

I have several of this 'Danse' series and most have been a pleasure to play and I was confident this one would be the same. This game turned out to be such a disappointment that I ended up mostly using the 'hint' button just to finish it and there were way too many mini-games for my likes. I looked at the reviews for the CE and they were far better, perhaps when downsizing it to SE version they took too much out [like the storyline]. This one in my opinion was a waste of my time and money that I could have been spent on another game : / 1&1/2 * out of 5* on my personal enjoy-ability scale.
For HOG lovers (me) These Vacation Adventure series are a very enjoyable change of pace from more complicated story-lines and game-play.& I usually have the shortcut on my desktop all the time. This one takes place in the colder weather and I played it during a Texas early cold front and being cold natured I think I would enjoy it more during the summer : ) I like this whole series including the Cruise Directer ones and I recommend that if you love HOGS and have not tried this series imho you may find yourself immersed in finding all there is to find. Warning, some are really tiny but they are there and a real challenge to get them all :) ! I am giving this one a 5***** out of 5***** on my personal enjoy-ability scale :)
Just have to mention my little low profile helper first because he was sooooo cute :) I sort of hurried through this game for Halloween and did not play many of the mini-games since I love the hidden object scenes more. I do want to say that I appreciate the Devs thoughtfulness in the way they allow for keeping track of the collectables & morphs. The graphics and characters were really good and as to the storyline I'll suggest you check out some of my fellow Fishies accurate descriptions . I am giving this one a 4**** out of a possible 5***** on my personal enjoy-ability scale.
I just completed this colorful game and fully enjoyed playing it. I will let you read my fellow Fishies descriptions (they are really good writers ) I wish the story-line had a bit more to it but it is a good okay. Although I personally do not like mini-games this Dev. makes them simple and fun and not a grey-matter bruiser. I really appreciate the Dev's having collectable indicators on the toolbar and missed ones on the jump map. I am giving this one a 4* out of a possible 5* on my personal enjoyability scale : )
Based on the completed and bonus games. I bought this after reading the positive reviews that my fellow Fishies wrote and fully agree with the positives. The only "con" I have is there was no easy way to keep up with the collectables ar ability to find them in the bonus section. My gameplay gets a lot of interruptions so it can be frustrating to have to go to the Guide and try to see if I got them all. The rest of the game was nicely relaxing and gameplay flowed smoothly. The characters each had some personality which showed how much care the artists put into their artwork. The colors, graphics, music and map ( and hints) worked very well, and the mini-games were mostly quick and do-able. I'm giving this one a 4 &1/2 * [ because of not being able to keep track of collectables ] out of a possible 5 * on my personal enjoy-ability scale and recommend it for Fishies that like fantasy & not complicated games now and then.
Just completed Vacation Adventures; Park Ranger 8 and totally enjoyed playing it :) This series is great for times when you just not in mood for regular games and just want to play some good ole hogs! Although some of the items that we are looking for are really easy to find there are quite a few that I really had to hunt for : ) I found the graphics, sounds scenery and colors are all easy-looking at. The music and sounds tend to be repetitious but okay & I ran into no glitches. I have fallen in love with these Vacation Adventures [both Park Ranger and Cruise Director] and plan to have all of them in my collection : ) I am going to give this one a 5 out of 5 on my personal enjoy-ability scale because I enjoyed it so. It is not perfect but close to it .
I got this Game both for the title and the game description by pennmom36 for one. The graphics, sound, music, storyline, & 'helper' were pretty good for retro style. The gameplay was definitely "Retro" and I both loved it and sometimes barely liked it (the Macaw ) was a cute distraction) After I gave up trying to not use hints the enjoyment started. The hint many times led to a pop-up saying look at the map and even that was not too bad in this case.. Some of the items were teeny-tiny but this is a Hidden Object game and part of playing this genre is the challenge of finding the objects.....and when the game seemed ti 'think' I as taking too long little 'snarky wise-cracks would pop-up. Anyway. why not give this one a try if you would like something different , you may or may not like it & as I said, I had mixed feelings until I decided it would not crush my ego if I used HINTS ; ) I did not run into any 'bugs' playing on Win. 10 os. I'm giving this one a 4 out of 5 on my personal enjoy-ability scale and not going to recommend or not recommend on this one because I really think it needs to be tried by the player to see if they find it tempting.
