This is NOT a typical game. It is all texts only, it plays out in your imagination between texts as you react to what Taylor, the sole survivor of a space ship crash tells you and asks you for advice about. The story changes with your decisions, there are different endings. There are delays roughly equivalent to real world ones as he does what you say. I log out, play something else or work or whatever and check back later for any new messages.
Not a game for everyone. Graphics are a texting page. If you are a reader whose imagination yet is alive, you might like it and come to care about Taylor, the stranded astronaut. At 2.99 on release as the catch of The Week, it is not painful to buy it if you do think it interests you. The low price is get it closer to what they paid for it on Android not that it is lame. For what it is, it is a good price for something new to try out and I bought it and am enjoying chatting with Taylor and wondering what might be ahead of us.
I am still undecided if I will buy it or not. On the plus side, it is Egyptian, not an HO game, the graphics are cute, and they are trying a different approach to the usual build and move onward sort of games. Casual mode is REAL relaxed.
On the negative side, there seemed to be no auto-collect so I was always moving from one screen to the next to collect gold or food or whatever, while trying to determine what I was needing to do next. They say you can assign collectors but I am still figuring out how one does that. Little is intuitive here, and even your level goals are only there briefly before going away. I did not like that.
You might like it for all of these reasons. It bodes to be a nice game once you learn how to play it. I still don't know what I think about it, after my hour demo. I probably won't get it unless they have a 2 for 1 sale and there is nothing I prefer to go with one I plan to buy. DO demo it first to decide for yourself. It is done differently. Has promise, though.
I recommend this game!

I have not had this much fun since Toy Defense: Fantasy! They did a great job making a sequel to a fun series that is completely fresh. You are killing robots and star jets with lasers and plasma rays in this version of a tower defense game.
On the downside, some of the options could have used a description with a cursor hover, but you can figure them out with a look at the base and ammunition upgrades to learn what the symbols mean. This version needs a bit more tactics than did "Fantasy" and is every bit as fun and occasionally annoying :). I played the demo and will buy. I am confident it will be as good as Fantasy was.
Music and effects are gently cheesy sci fi and just for fun. Graphics worked, though a bit small. I liked the look of Fantasy better, but this bodes to be a tougher run. We shall see :)
This is 5 card stud, with a few cards laying out making up the "solitaire" portion. You get rid of the cards on the table by making poker matches in your hand of five cards. The graphics are clear, music a bit cheesy but brief and not intrusive, Game mechanics were tight, it ran well on my computer. Storyline is basically each hand series is in another city for a tournament.
Based on the demo, it is easy, moves fast, and you can buy cheat cards or other items from your winnings, which also come easy. If you want a simple hand of 5 card stud, this is a good choice. If not, not so much. It is not solitaire if that is what you are looking for.
I gave it a 4, because I do not agree with low balling a game ONLY because it turns out to be not my type. This is too simple for me, did not engage me, however it is a good little poker game if you do not want much but the hands dealt. In fifteen minutes I had gone through the first three tournaments. Not for me, but with all of this understood, if it is for you, then check it out. It is well made and tried to be fun for me, it really did.
I recommend this game!

This is an engaging and delightful solitaire game, and not only because of the holiday cheer it overflows with. It has just enough challenge to catch you out and keep you on your card playing toes. As you play, you earn chocolate coins in order to purchase upgrades to a Santa Village as they are offered. The coins come easily, and upgrades give you bonuses to help with the game play, such as extra jokers or cards to use.
One criticism I see mentioned for it often, and which is the main reason I am reviewing the game despite it already being well described, is the supposed inability to replay a level. You can easily and readily do this as long as when you reach the last card and see you cannot clear them all, you click on the menu button in the upper right corner and select "replay the level". It resets only that one level and you can replay as often as needed to clear the cards without penalty. This option is lost only if you go on to the next hand first.
Well designed, great graphics, nice music, excellent playing. This has become my favorite holiday solitaire game. Thanks for reading. Enjoy.
Basic solitaire game, with crisp graphics and a holiday theme. The music was not Christmas traditional. but it was cheerful and not annoying. Layouts varied, not hugely challenging, but I don't want that from a game to relax with, and this was a good experience to play. No storyline, and once past a brief tutorial it leaves you alone to enjoy. I just needed a cup of hot chocolate to make it perfect :)
Cruel beings have devastated a floating island leaving its peaceful populace helpless in the face of war. Conquer the evil scourge and repair the land!
I agree with the other good reviews, and bought this game. It is both a tower defense game and match 3, and does require tactics and some work to get through it. The graphics are adequate and cute.
One thing I find to be maddening the further I go, however, is that the tutorial won't quit. EVERY time I place a tower I get the pop ups to upgrade it and how to again. The tutorial tells you the same things too much, and then doesn't say a word about other things, like tactics, or more about the dragons before you decide to research one versus using the points elsewhere. After several hours playing, I still find no way to shut off the tutorial torment. Others say this doesn't block their screen, but I find it does interfere with mine and I play on a desktop. It is beginning to drive me away from the game.
This game is cute, it is well written, challenging more than the cute graphics would infer and a clever idea to blend in match 3 to give a game more life and variety. It is worth buying, unless you have this anti-nag anti-repetition thing like I do. Play the full hour and see how you feel about it beforehand. I assumed it would go away. It doesn't :(. It is not my wish to downgrade this game, just it is bothering me so much now, I wanted to warn others to decide on the demo themselves if it is annoying or not for them. Otherwise, I could have enjoyed it totally.
This is a crisply written, simple one up- one down solitaire game dressed up in well done Halloween graphics for FUN. No more, no less.
If you find card games boring, you won't like it. The poor reviews for this game are sad, and do not do it justice.
If you do enjoy a nicely done solitaire game in Halloween attire that runs well and is cute, this is a nice choice. I haunt this site for Halloween flavored games (OK and Christmas ones too lol) and this is an adorable keeper.
I recommend this game!

Toy Defense 3 - Fantasy
Perfect the skills of warriors, build defensive fortresses, and devise strategy to dominate the enemy’s army. Rid your lands of evil once and for all!
I own all three of the Toy Defense games, but found the first two to require a lot more effort than I can usually put in for fun after a long day. Fantasy is different, a wonderfully perfect blend of challenge and gratification when you beat a level. Difficulty ramps up gradually, upgrades to each troop type makes a world of difference, and the occasional gross overkill level happens and is fun to win well :).
It looks good, plays well, and is FUN if you enjoy Tower Defense games. Not too hard or too easy, either. My favorite since Master of Defense came out - which is saying something. That is an old classic TD game.
Thanks, Devs. Nice job here with this one. FUN is good.
I recommend this game!

Graphics fine, music ok, what you expect from a simple game of farmers trying to save their farms from the Big Store. For all of that, it is super, but what got me to buy is the unexpected challenges in achieving the simple goals. You need to do it in THIS order to get gold, not THAT way, and the game leaves it to you to decide how to go about it. I would say this is MUCH more of a puzzle and reasoning game than it is the seemingly obvious clicky and make goods from your crops game. Much to my surprise, I bought it :). Got to go and play the next level, now, so BYE!
