I'm enjoying this game right now. It may not be for everyone, but it suits me.
Pluses - touch screen friendly, no enemies to fight, pretty straightforward game play, 3 levels of play, no annoying voices or distractions
Minuses - almost impossible to get 3 stars on some levels, many levels needed starting over since I ran out of resources before figuring out the order I needed to do things, not much of a tutorial, no special bonuses, lots of red herrings (upgrades you shouldn't use, obstacles you don't need to clear, etc.)

Loved it. The last few MCF games were forgettable, but this one brings back the level of adventure and gaming from the previous games. Without adding more Dalimars, the game connects the past with new mysteries. The game was a nice length, the story line was interesting, the puzzles and HOPs were challenging without driving me crazy. I was totally hooked. Yes, the voicing of Allison was a bit annoying and I used to think that Scottish accents were sexy but will now think of them as creepy, but those are minor irritations.

Ugh. I could not even get past the trial. I loved the first 3 games, but this one is just annoying. In no particular order:
Characters keep screaming snarky/whiny/threatening phrases. They are not audible, but they are distracting and not even remotely humorous. Game interface seems clunky. I have difficulty using a touch screen with this and sometimes even the mouse doesn't want to work. I had to play level 3 five times to get everything to work. Tasks are not very specific and it's frustrating trying to figure out what it is I'm missing or need to do. Again it took 3-5 tries on some levels to work everything out. This is not my first time at this rodeo, but these horses are elephants! Story line is not interesting and rather disjointed.

Cute game. Used a free coupon. Usual build industries, collect supplies, upgrade, chase off bad guys... Two annoying things - no relaxed mode and it's difficult to figure out what the stores sell.

I purchased the earlier games in this series, but the last few have just irked me. The voices did not fit the characters and the puzzles were just weird. Some of the scenes made no sense, except possibly to scare you or add to the atmosphere. The HOPs were okay. And the dwarf is back. Another irritating voice. His graphics don't match the rest of the game. Please give me a game where he goes away forever. Demo was short, which usually doesn't bode well. I was just glad to be done with it.
I don't recommend this game.

I have love this series since the beginning, but lately they've been phoning it in. Glad I got a good sale. Convoluted story line, the same stupidly impossible game over and over, some really annoying characters, and unresolved issues at the end, even with the bonus game. Still love the graphics and FROGs, even though they are nothing new. I did like the opportunity in the extras to complete all the collectibles and parables and the souvenirs were okay.

I wanted this game almost immediately when playing the demo. The graphics were beautiful, the games were challenging, the HOPs were interesting and the bonus game was well worth the price. Story line & voices were okay, but I like the different worlds and the puzzle box. I also really liked the ability to find all the hidden/morphing objects missed during the game in the bonus content.

I really thought I'd like this game but a few things kept me from buying it. Dupin looks wretched Travel cut scenes time consuming and unnecessary Puzzles relied too much on quick arcade skills and not actual thinking HOPs not that interesting This game may appeal to some but not me.

Not going into the story line, since that's been done. If you've played these before you know the drill. 3 challenge levels, collect puzzle pieces, collect extras on some levels, build stuff, collect stuff, get accomplishments, get extra levels, save Hercules, workers, Megara....
Not much difference in game play from previous games in the series, but I really like the one new piece of music and the new scenes are interesting.

Awesome game. Definitely for grown-ups. HOPS were interesting and different, puzzles were challenging, story line was fascinating, graphics and voices phenomenal. Plot twists abound. Apparently these were the first 2 chapters of four; can't wait for the rest of the story.
