The storyline was cute, a little boy who wants to be the sheriff and save the day. The music became annoying though it had set the right tone for the storyline with the ghosts and saving the boy, Billy. The objects in the hos were easily found and the mini games were typical and uncomplicated. I didn't like not having a map (especially when I started and had to stop) and the hint button was only available in the hos. Got kinda bored and didn't finish demo. Definitely a good game for a beginning hos fan.
I don't recommend this game.

I did not play the whole demo as I found it dragging. The psychological terror was kinda dull and the activities dragged. I got bored. There was not much of a storyline to follow or lead you forward to make you excited or bring you into the story. I do not recommend this game.

I really enjoyed going back and playing the demo of this game after checking out Mystery Trackers: Black Isle. The storyline of spooky house, missing characters and finding out what happened was an entertaining and bringing you into the story premise. The hos were a little challenging as some of the objects are on the small size but not so challenging that you get frustrated in trying to find an object. Also the mini games were also fairly simple and did not have to or want to skip. The scenery was really nice and the appropriate amount of "darknes" for the ambiance was well done. The path through the house is easy to follow (it doesn't give you a whole lot of choice when where you entered closes on you), but found the whole demo definitely enjoyable and will at some point in time purchase.
I recommend this game!

The game was good. It was kinda slow moving and the excitement level was a little on the low side, The hos scenes were reasonably easy and everything was located without using the hint button. The hint button filled quickly and didn't need to skip any of the mini games. The scenes were rather dark and hard to see, but the sparkles of objects of interest were helpful to find items that were needed. I did turn on the brightness button, so I'm not sure what they would have been like if I hadn't. I recommend the game.

I enjoyed the storyline with the detective and the search of the house. The visuals and music were good. I also liked the map, suspect list and additions to it, the examiners report and the way the hints were given. What I didn't like was the magnifying glass showing up before I even had gotten my cursor over to the area, and felt that it was giving me too much help and took some of the challenge out of the game. The hos items were almost too easy to find and the lock game seemed too "flimsy". The game is definitely for a beginner and would recommend it for that reason.
I recommend this game!

The music and visual arts were very good. The hint key was okay. It filled quickly but did not help a lot in regards of what to do next or what you missed and needed to pick up. The hos scenes were well done, but one or two of the items were difficult to find in each scene. The storyline was good, but needed to play the other nightfall mysteries first as this was a continuation of a prior game. Overall I enjoyed the game and will probably purchase it soon.
I recommend this game!

This cute silly game is alot of fun. The story line about grandpa fighting for the title is very cute. The difficulty of the game is for beginners but the intermediate players will find it enjoyable. Yes it may get boring, but hasn't so far as I only played the demo. The scenes are cute and there is some going back and forth, but the hos items can be a little difficult as some of them are on the small side. The mini games are traditional ie train tracks(pipe type game), but the having to find the regalia and meeting each of the knights are least expected. Good fun, a little campy and very stylized but enjoyable. I especially liked that you get a strategy guide even though its not a collector's edition.
I recommend this game!

The visual art is stylized but not bad by all means. The mini games are traditional but not difficult. The hos are easy to find in the casual game with its sparkles to find the additionally hidden objects. It is overall a cute game with a ghost but not scary. Overall it is a game I recommend for beginners, but intermediate players will also enjoy it because of the storyline and the amount of objects needed to found in the hos.
I recommend this game!

The storyline was a little campy. The music and visual were okay. There wasn't much involved in each scene. The hos were simple. The mini puzzles were okay. I was easily distracted from the game by other things going on around me which rarely happens. Couldn't ever really get into the game.
I don't recommend this game.

The visual and sound quality were absolutely beautiful. The music was soothing and didn't become annoying as the hour went on. The hidden objects were well done and were not difficult to find. The 360 effect of going around were different and made the game more challenging going around the room to find each item that was required to go on. I also found it interesting that the inventory items were completed as each scene was completed and did not carry forward to another scene so in the hour I used all the items and did not have to backtrack to place an object. It was fun and the "ghosts" that appeared as different places were entered helped with the story line and gave you more information as the story progressed. It was very well done.
I recommend this game!
