I loved this game start to finish, and judging by the other reviews, I'm not alone. This had everything a CE should have...great game play and great extras. I particularly liked finding the secret game at the end of the bonus game. I also thought the music was particularly good and the graphics were awesome!
I recommend this game!

This review is based on the demo, which I couldn't get out of fast enough. This is a really really dull game...simple story, simple puzzles, no interesting extras. There is an odd helper (not interesting odd, just odd). Every bit of this game has been done before, and better.
I quite enjoyed playing the demo for this game. It looks and plays a bit old school, but it worked for me. The HO scenes are basic but enjoyable, and the puzzles are good. This game also has some features of bigger CE games, such as achievements and collectibles. Give it a try!
This game looks fine, but I didn't make it anywhere through the demo as it was so frustrating to play. First of all, you can't lock the inventory, which drives me nuts. Secondly, there is a choice of 2 difficulty levels, basically easy and expert, but you can't read all the details of what "expert" is even when playing it in widescreen. Perhaps I am spoiled by the games which have custom levels, but how hard is it to have 3 levels and a locking inventory? That aside, the story wasn't well written..a woman and her daughter are on a train, and suddenly the train is wrecked and her daughter is gone. The mom says that she thinks something might be going on here! Really?? I think if they had spent a little more time on the details it would have been better.
I originally tried the CE version of this game, but I didn't think it was worth the extra cost. This is a good solid HO game with good HO scenes and puzzles. The game looks beautiful, but the movement of characters is pretty old school. It's not a real standout or anything, but is a great choice for a punch code credit!

I have enjoyed all the Myths of the World games, and this one is no exception. Based on the demo, this is a CE that is worth the price, as it has lots of achievements, two types of collectables (regular and morphing), games and puzzles to play after, and an extended list of the regular CE bonuses. I also like being able to customize the difficulty. The game itself is about the myth of vampires. It has, in places, a nice eeriness to it, and a good level of challenge. The HO scenes are standouts, with multiple levels and ways of finding objects. The puzzles are very good as well. The only issue I had was that I was not crazy about the voices at first, but I soon got used to them!

This game looks good, and that's what the two stars are for. It is basically a pain to play...characters shoot in and out from the sides and then you read the dialogue. Everything takes longer to do than is necessary and the story line is goofy...look out, the tax dept is tracking non tax payers! It looks and plays like a 2008 game with better graphics.

This is the way every CE should be! First off the story is great...you are Madame Roche, and you are helping Toulouse-Latrec solve a case of murder at the Moulin Rouge. The music, voice overs and graphics are wonderful and evoke the period perfectly! The puzzles and HO scenes are fun and original, and the game is loaded with extras, including achievements, 3 sets of collectables and a lot of extra games to play after the bonus chapter. The difficulty level can be customised and one thing I really like is that when a character is "talking" to you, it waits for you to click before the dialogue continues. No more missing important info when the phone rings!! This is worth the CE price in my opinion. Enjoy!

Based on the demo, this game seems very typical of a lot of recent games...yet another cursed princess! The story didn't grab me at all, but it played well, looked good, and had a good challenge level. The problem for me was that without a good story line, its just boring puzzle solving.
I don't recommend this game.

I played the demo of this CE, and it did not grab me at all. For a start, the HO scenes were just a pain to play...for some reason the pictures of the items to find are really small, so you have to move them to a magnifying glass to see them. Why?? Then the graphics and sound were ho-hum, the story line was kind of awkward and the acting not great. On top of this, in the 'advanced mode' there was endless black bar messages...maybe it would have some challenge in the hardcore mode. It played like a B version of a better game.
