it is empty! I am a great fan of Time Management games and enjoy most of them, this one was just my worst nightmare in a nutshell: 1) The graphics were mediocre, the characters badly drawn and their motion(s) really basic, the background picture was very amateurish, the resources counters all over the place hanging in trees....why? 2) Didn't play with the sound so cannot comment 3) The story line was nothing new or remotely funny 4) The level of challenge was non-existent, I don't even know why there were two modes of playing as frankly it wouldn't make any difference to an intermediate/advanced player 5) The loading between two levels was rather slow 6) The demo was so short I thought the game was buggy, then to realise that was just it! Arghhhhhhhhh! BF please get rid off the humbug and cheer us up by bringing the magic back with a real challenging Time Management game for Christmas :)

The graphics were ok but too similar to some other games, I didn't play with the sound so I cannot comment on that, the puzzles were not very challenging, the storyline was not very original, I was bored after 30mn but went through the demo because I was a fan of MCF. I am very disappointed with this present game.

Where do I start? - Too many dialogues opening before you actually play something, anything. - The story seems like a poor excuse for packing in all sorts of "Déjà vu" puzzles. - The graphics are neither fun nor endearing. - The navigation is dire
It seems to me that the game designers were trying to go off the beaten track, which is commendable, but were not very successful in their attempt; it just didn't flow! I only played 15-20mn of the demo because I was so bored.

I am totally hooked and biased on that kind of time management games, this sequel is just brilliant! Finished it today, I loved the introduction of underwater scenes, the graphics are just delightful, bright, cheerful, crisp and endearing. The action pace is just perfect some levels are very easy , some are outrageously challenging...loved that! You just have yo try again and again until you achieve the perfect combo of workers vs resources to achieve the goals. I enjoyed the presence of "secret achievements". Definitely in my top 4 Time Management games on BF along with Adelantado (the full trilogy), Royal envoy (all of them) , and Garden Inc (both of them). I warmly recommend Northern Tale 4 if you are intermediate or expert in time management skills because to enjoy the full experience it is much better to play it with a timer :)

I love time management/strategy games and I bought the previous Hercules game (despite giving it an average review by using a free coupon)...and Bingo! It is a bit like going to a junk shop and find a real Faberge jewel amongst the glittering paste jewellery...I just loved it: the expert level was on occasion a tad too challenging and I must say I failed the last hurdle, the bonus level on chapter 4, I had to play it casual in order to get through. Some tricky levels took me a good 5 days to get there eventually on "Expert" level. It was really worth every penny, fun and yet extremely challenging, every single decision or bad timing proving costly on being successful. I just cannot fault it, I absolutely recommend that game! :)
Ok, ok, I am partial to Time Management games but I must say everything about that one kept me going, after finishing the demo I purchased it and never regretted it ever since! I play without the sound so cannot fairly comment on either voices or music. The characters were really fun to watch, graphics were beautiful, movements were great, challenges were good-very good especially towards the end. The only change I would make is that I wouldn't make the two first buildings types so obvious, after a while it was too systematic to start with a fortress and a mill and that was slightly annoying as I didn't have to think about what strategy to adopt before starting the level (hence me rating you "good" rather than "excellent" on the "Level of Challenge"). Still everything taken into consideration it remains a great game!
I recommend this game!

Based on the demo I didn't like the game, out of 60mn demo, about 15mn were dedicated to the uploading of the next sequence,it didn't seem smooth enough...it just felt awkward to play! I am a complete fan of Time Management games but I will pass on this one.

I was so looking forward to playing that game that the disappointment factor was maybe bigger than it should have been. My comments can only be based on the demo: the new graphics don't add anything to either the visual excitement or the challenges, however the comments on new tasks and bonuses are really annoying when playing in window mode because they prevent you from sending the workers to some resources to collect or visually impair the next move to be done. What is the point to have to go back to a pile of resources, I mean what does that feature add to the game or its challenge? Regrettably, I will not recommend that game and that breaks my heart because I loved and purchased immediately after the demo all the previous games in that series, but frankly if you want value for money this isn't it!

I am still playing it and am totally thrilled, the full trilogy was great and that last "book" doesn't disappoint: it really gives you food for thought on the strategy to adopt to get there, the graphics are just awesome, the level difficulty is challenging without feeling impossible...I wish I could tone my enthusiasm down but I can't, it is just a fantastic game and I hope to see many more like that by the developers in the future. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Having bought all the previous "Royal Envoy", I was really eager to tackle this one with a fun political twist in the storyline. I did the game adventure/normal way then difficult mode then done all the "challenges" levels....I must say the challenges levels were better than the Adventure Mode....not sure if people who will buy the "normal" version at a later stage will have access to it. For Expert players the levels were quiet easy to work out to get a gold nearly every single time, I think i had to redo one level several times because of miscalculation on the resources needed , so I would have welcomed some more difficulties there....maybe the series is getting repetitive and therefore slightly boring. I loved the graphics and the fact that there were hidden treasures under buildings more often, good fun all around. I think this game would suit "Intermediate level players"better, however I would still recommend it :)
