Was really not too sure about that one as the graphics didn't seem great to start with but they grew on me, so did the story and what I really liked was that some of the challenges got me...so good game, good pace, good for me.
I gathered there might be another Brownies coming up soon and will definitely play its demo.
I recommend this game!

I played the demo and everything was "OK", nothing to write home about, nothing unpleasant and at the same time nothing extraordinary, no Wow factor for me on that one!
I think it would suit intermediate best as the level of challenge would just be right for them in the advanced mode of the game.
I recommend this game!

Based on playing the demo for 5mn on a PC with sound off:
- The reason I gave up playing that game after 5mn was I got very bored very rapidly, I just didn't see the interest of the game itself: to protect yourself from a cat invasion so you can read a book in peace by piling up furniture above your head?
And?
I probably didn't grasp the concept, not for me at the end of the day!
The only reason I played the demo was because of the cartoon like graphics that looked interesting
I don't recommend this game.

Based on the demo with the sound off, played on a PC:
- I actually enjoyed playing the game, the pace was fast and there were so many min-games, so thumbs up on that!
-The graphics were good, clean lines, modern, good colours.
- The level of challenge was good in a difficult mode and the challenges were different/novel, so it made the experience enjoyable.
-The storyline was ok
I think it would suit best the high intermediate players
I recommend this game!

it delivered! Hooray!
I must say I had been waiting for a demo like that in a long time...so I was so pleased and thrilled....I even played with the sound on, and folks that read my reviews will know that usually I turn it off....and the haunting music and annoying in a good way voices were just spot on.
So...here we go:
The fun factor was there, totally there, I was hooked from the start, great storyline, not new but it made such a change from the usual that it seemed just brilliant.
The challenges were good, still a tad too easy for hard/difficult mode but acceptable nevertheless and the pace between challenges is great giving you a sense of urgency that keeps you going, loved that!
The only down real down point for me was the graphics, such a game should have deserved really great detailed, crisp graphics that felt novel and then I would have purchased it immediately, now I feel I will wait for it to be on a special offer.
I recommend this game!

Based on the demo:
I would rate everything OK/average.
Not a bad game, just too easy for me.
I liked the pace of the game, it kept me going with lots of puzzles etc and it would have been better with a higher level of difficulty.
I think it would suit (high)beginners/ (low)intermediate level the best :)
I recommend this game!

Based on the demo :
-graphics just ok; nothing spectacular or new
-I was rapidly bored because I found the challenges unchallenging.
-the storyline didn't manage to grab my attention long enough for me to be interested in the characters, so there was a point where boredom took over.
Not for me, might be someone else's cup of tea!
I don't recommend this game.

Based on the demo:
I only played half of the demo because I was bored.
-disappointing storyline with yet another child who needs to be saved or save the world through a portal....zzzzzzzzzzzzz
-very disappointing with the puzzles, as far as I was concerned there was no challenge in there!
-the graphics were just ok, nothing to write home about, same old stuff
I suppose it will suit the beginners level
I don't recommend this game.

Based only on the demo: that game screams quality and has that atmospheric feeling of "Raiders of the lost Ark"
1) Why this game deserves 4 stars
- Fantastic graphics, novel, crisp, attention to details, easy navigation, I do not play with the sound on so I cannot comment on that part.
-Great storyline, you really want to see that adventure through, it hooks you from the start and I really enjoyed playing the demo
2) Why I couldn't give it a 5 stars rate
- I am playing in the most difficult mode and don't get challenged by the mini-games or the tasks of the general game itself, the level of difficulty is for beginners or intermedaite at the most...such a shame!
With what has been said above I had the sneaky suspicion that purchasing that game would make me just sail through it in a few hours, unfortunately that suspicion has been confirmed by another review.
I would recommend that game for beginners or low intermediate only.

Review based only on the demo for the "Collection Edition"
I do not play with the sound on so I cannot comment on that.
What worked well for me:
- the graphics: was not too sure about their quality after the intro but I was happily surprised that they were crisp and pleasing to the eyes.
- the challenges: a bit more interesting than the usual mini games and HO, novel even for some..nice surprise!
- the storyline: different from the usual orphanage, asylum, lost children etc. so in that respect the storyline was mostly welcome.
- the fun factor: I must admit I have enjoyed the demo.
What could do with some improvement:
- the level of challenge was not high enough, the tasks were too easy in my mind, even in the most difficult mode!
So just based on the above I am not sure that I will purchase the game just because of the lack of real challenge whilst playing it, however I would recommend it for beginners and intermediate players.
I recommend this game!
