I couldn't even get through a half hour of the trial without getting so frustrated. The graphics were juvenile and the movements jerky. I don't remember if I played the 1st or 2nd Cooking Academy, but I wouldn't bother to care based on this one. Sorry to sound so harsh, but it did not live up to any entertainment value for me.
I don't recommend this game.

I played on the advanced level, no hints or help at all. It was quite challenging and the mini-games were pretty good. I really only disliked one mini-game, which was the knight game. I would only purchase on a special price though, like a daily deal for $2.99 because I have no idea how long it is or whether the intensity stays the same. It just wasn't gripping enough of a story line for me. There are plenty of other HOAG out there I would purchase first.
I recommend this game!

For all of you who really enjoyed the Haunted Halls and Nightfalls games, you will enjoy this as well. In my opinion, it has the same feeling to it. The graphics and HOS were done well. Some of the mini games were brain-bending, but I like that. I played in expert mode. Enjoy, my fellow gamers!

I was not that impressed with this game. I think the idea could have been developed more. I did not like that it didn't have an option for expert/advanced players. You have no choice but to see hints and doesn't give the expert players enough challenge. Her voice was a bit annoying to me, and his was not much better. Way too many voice-overs and dialogue for my taste. Intermediate players will probably really like this game.
I don't recommend this game.

This was my first time ever playing a Snark game. I still have no idea what a Snark is, but the game was pretty cool. It is like a fantasy-type setting with calming music. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out what I needed to do, but once I did it was entertaining. I played in expert/advanced mode. Again, I do not have experience with the first two Snark games, but I really liked this one.
I recommend this game!

For me, the game was good, but not great. I found it pretty easy and I prefer more of a challenge. I played in expert mode. It is better than most and worth the download. I would not buy the CE, but would buy the SE. It will be a good time-filler, but not a "must have" game for me. Sound effects were really good and I liked the different rooms to search. It seems the more rooms there are, the more I enjoy it. Scenes were good and the atmosphere was engaging.
I recommend this game!

Storyline was typical: Ghosts, island, HOG. It wasn't creepy at all and the voice-overs were horrible. I tried to play the entire trial, but only lasted 45 minutes. I gave it a serious effort though.

I thought this was a pretty good game. It doesn't stand out with all other HOG's, but still had its creepy moments. I especially liked the wax hands.....hmm.

I really liked this game! I have never played Gardenscapes before, but decided to give this a try. It was so entertaining and hooks you. I didn't consider it a challenge for me, but the storyline and graphics were cool. One thing I also liked was the time clock in finding the items.....made it a bit more challenging. The option to not have the clock is good for people who want to play for the fun, not challenge.
