I am sorry to say, but I did not really like this game too much. The opening scene reminded me of a scene from a bad comic book. In all fairness, I did not finish the demo because it was too painful to complete. I basically knew I had enough after the short time I played. It was not interesting to me. I am a fan of Greenhill Sanitarium, MCF, etc....so you can compare my taste to yours.
I don't recommend this game.

Grim Tales does it again. Another great game! I played expert level and just the demo version. I usually wait for the SE on any game, so hopefully that will be released within the month. Far and few between, but at least we get such good games here and there.

I really liked this game, but didn't love it. The level of challenge was great. I played in expert/advanced mode with very little help. I guess you are looking for four bodies! I found one while playing the demo version. I will not purchase the CE, but will most likely purchase the SE when released.
I recommend this game!

This is a standard HOG, no adventure here. The game seemed unfinished to me. Some basic things were missing, even for a HOG. Between scenes there was no wait bar...meaning while the next scene was loading, there was nothing to tell you it was loading. Usually there is a "loading" bar, blink, etc. I also didn't like how the options menu allows you to adjust the minimal settings available, but then doesn't say okay. There are two options, apply and cancel. After you make any adjustments and hit apply, the screen still stays up. You actually have to hit cancel to apply your settings! Cancel? Odd.
My review is based on an advanced player of HOAG's, Strategy, and TM games.
This is definitely not a buy for me. Too boring #yawn#.
I don't recommend this game.

Played the trial version only and found it to be almost comic-book like. The graphics and characters reminded me so much of the old-school comics. The mini-games were challenging, but no directions on how to solve them. So, if you're not used to playing HOAG's, it might be difficult with no instructions.
I played on the expert mode with no hints. I prefer it this way, but even for myself the mini-games didn't make much sense.
It is not a buy for me. Sorry fishies.
I don't recommend this game.

This game plays like any other HOAG, but storline was very unique! Graphics were pretty and the music was decent. I played advanced/expert. I tend to not like hints or even the ability to have them, but I still enjoyed playing this game. Again, it was a very unique storyline. I will wait for the SE though.
I recommend this game!

I thought this was a pretty good HOAG. The level of challenge wasn't too challenging for me, but it still made me think. I always play in advanced/expert mode, so you can get an idea of the level of game play. An intermediate player would probably really enjoy it. HOS were good, some items hidden pretty well! There wasn't too much back and forth with items to use, but I actually like wild goose hunts. Storyline.....was okay. Graphics were good!
I recommend this game!

I had such high hopes because of everyone else loving this game. I played the trial and did not like it very much. I thought the graphics were boring and the storyline was just "ok." I played on the hardest level of challenge via the adjustment settings at the start of the game. It just didn't excite me at all. I've also been playing these games for years.
Sorry, but I will be fishing for another game!!
I don't recommend this game.

I really can't go either way on this game. I love TM games, but this did not score that high with me. I am a dasher by heart and I also love the Turbo Pizza games.....it looks like it was developed by the same people as Turbo.
Once upon a time in the small, undistinguished town of Silentville people started disappearing. Help uncover the mystery behind these disappearances and save the town from a curse!

I thought this game was a little too slow for my taste. When I say slow, I literally mean slow. There is a delay in clicking on items, picking them up, etc. It is not my PC either. I play HOAG's constantly and some of them just play like that....which is a minor annoyance to someone like myself who plays rather fast. The storyline was okay, but I don't tend to play these games for the story. The challenge was decent enough to keep me interested, but the delay was too much for me to deal with.
It is not a purchase for me.....unfortunately. I recommend for intermediate and entry level players.
