This game had the potential to be a really fun game I would want to buy, but the game action is just not fast enough. You have to click thru every pop up. There is a time and untimed choice, which I like, and a story that I do not pay any attention to. The music is okay. It's repetitive and gets a little annoying, but you can turn it down if you don't want to listen to it. It just wasn't good enough to keep playing. I didn't even finish the demo.
I was playing the demo for about 25 minutes. All the time I kept thinking, no, I do not like this game. Yet I felt compelled to keep playing. I was even thinking maybe I would use a game credit to get it, but then the game suddenly crashed. So I am not wasting a credit on it.
Along with a few others, I have been waiting a long time for a sequel. I love the challenge of this game. It's not your typical match three. This is pretty much the same as the first one, but I don't mind. I could do without the narratives when you finish each level. Those annoy me, but at least I can click thru them quickly. I purchased this game before I even played the demo.
On a side note, the first MatchVentures stopped working after I owned it for a while. The circle that spins as the game loads just freezes and it will not load to play. I hope it doesn't happen again. I complained a lot in the group chat and to BigFish, but I was only given a credit. Not a fix. The devs never helped me fix the problem.
I love this series, so I had to play the demo. After 5 minutes, I purchased it. It is exactly the same layout as the previous games, but this time you have to match the color of the squares. It offers relaxed play, which I enjoy. This old brain doesn't like to work too hard. LOL
This game is very simple to play, especially in relaxed mode. That's perfect for me. I like not having to think about moves sometimes. It doesn't feel like a game I will play every day, but it is relaxing enough that I purchased it.
I enjoy having choices of play, from timed to completely relaxed without penalty. The objects are well hidden, but not impossible to find. I like that because this old brain can't handle anything too complex. Plus I ADORE having to find a cat in almost every scene! You also have many different games built into each level of play. I really enjoy it. Make more of these, please! With more cats!
I enjoyed the demo. The music is very pleasant at first, but becomes annoying after a while. Turning it down helps. To me the objects are well hidden. I could not get through any scene without using a hint. You "earn" stars that unlock the next scene to play. You have to replay the same scenario but with different objects to seek out to earn more stars and move on. There is a timer, and no relaxed mode, but the timer counts up, not down. So you do not run out of minutes. It remind me a lot of the Big City Adventures games, which I love.
I have been waiting so long for another Next Stop! I absolutely love this series and I bought this without even playing it first. I read the other reviews and that was good enough. I am not sorry or disappointed. It is everything I expected and more!
I love this series and this one is as appealing as Cursed House 5 was. I love the new graphics. The play seems to be the same formula, but that's ok. I don't need surprises. It's a win-win formula that works for me. Going to buy it right now!
This one missed the boat entirely. It's not even close to Imperial Island 3 which I love and play constantly. I'm not sure why the devs deviated so much from a formula that worked. I am very disappointed in this game.
