This is more like it. Right up my street. No machines or Sci Fi. Like old school games. But when I play my games from 2012/13 I realise how short games are these days. More please but longer even if it costs a bit more.

I rarely comment on games these days as to be honest I think most new HO games are rubbish. This is a throw back to the days when I bought BF games regularly. No sci fi. No fantasy. No stupid childlike "helpers". Just ordinary scenes with ordinary things to find & use. Like the colours. Story & voiceovers don't interest me at all. I just like the challenge, which in this case was goldilocks. Not too easy. Not too hard. More please BF. Not everyone wants all the stuff already mentioned.
The woods hide a frightening mystery only you can solve!

I rarely comment on games. Played this rather late but thoroughly enjoyed it. No fantasy or sci fi rubbish. No weird special machines to light up rooms to find bits of nonsense. Just ordinary items for ordinary places. There used to be loads of these sort of games 9/10 years ago. Nowadays it's all sci fi/fantasy which I hate. More NORMAL themes please. Can I also say the games these days are disgustingly short. I'd rather pay £1 or £2 more for games 1GB length. Thank you!

Well that was a waste of 2 credits. I've abandoned it after an hour. Messy. Disjointed. Bewildering. Why do these makers think we ALL want weird stuff? I don't. Hate it. The early MCF games were great but this is a pile of nonsense. PLEASE bring back some old school games occasionally. SciFi, Fantasy & Plain Old Weird are not for everyone.
I don't recommend this game.
Explore kingdom ruins and meet the exiled Salt Princess.

I haven't reviewed a BF game for years but I had to comment on this. I only bought it on the reviews of others. What a disaster. The scenes are too busy by a country mile. You can't see the wood for the trees & i felt completely irritated the whole time. Awful game. I have been playing some of my 2015/16 games & I have realised how much better the games were back then. Longer & far more interesting. Also better value for money.
Can you find the key to Ravenhearst's resurrection?

I only EVER buy a collector's edition if it's MCF. Never any other games. Like I fool I did this time & like a fool I was hoodwinked like the last time. What has happened to this once great series? This game is just tosh. Nothing like a follow up to previous games. Boring, dreary storyline. Seen it, done it tasks & puzzles & no enjoyment for me. I've actually stopped playing after about an hour. Stop making these clones of some of the other humdrum games on BFG these days.
I don't recommend this game.
The old historic mansion in Istanbul is being renovated into a hotel and when the owner summons you to fix the grand clock you discover that there are dark secrets contained within.

Oh dear. What a tired, boring, seen it all before game. Far too easy even on hard level. Simple HOS & run of the mill story. AND WAY TOO SHORT. Come on BF you need to better than this.
I don't recommend this game.
You've returned from school to visit your father at his famous Jazz Pepper Club during Mardi Gras, but everyone is hypnotized. Have they heard the wrong note?

Bought this CE based on almost all of 20+ reviwers giving this 5s. (2 for 1 day today) What? They must be playing a different game to me. Dull,dull, dull. The only thing good about it is the music. No inventory to speak of. You carry 2-3 items that you use pretty quickly. Didn't even understand the instructions for some of the puzzles so skipped them.The jazz theme is slightly different but only just. Game takes an age to load on my PC. Even within the game sometimes. Very disappointed.
I don't recommend this game.

Fantastic game! I love the older style adventures.Not too many HOS elements which I prefer. Dark & scary. Lots of scenes to explore & a map if required. Large inventory to keep you thinking.You hold some objects for quite a long time. I like that in a game. Big creepy old house with lots of rooms. I can't think of anything better! Well done Big Fish. One of your best.
I recommend this game!
