This game was so typical that I kept wondering if I had already bought it. I played the full demo and I will purchase it because I have nothing better to do today and it has some things going for it. The graphics are crisp and 'cartoonish" ...in a good way. The story is engaging. The developers were smart enough to have characters speak, saving us a lot of reading. This game will not blow you away but I think it's worth the price.
The game brings nothing new to the HOG adventure world. It's visually stunning which I appreciate and enjoy. The graphics change but the game stays the same...too many boring HOG in my opinion. It has a few new and interesting although not very challenging mini games. I will buy this game because I can't stop once I start but I wish developers would gives us some more meat. All and all it's still a nice way to spend a few hours.
It's not an award winner but it redeems itself with a few fun scares and good mini games that require some thinking. It lost a lot of points from me on the visual aspect which is good to poor compared to other games but it was fun enough that I recommend it
Admittedly, there isn't really much about this game that distinguishes it from dozens of other similar HOG / adventure games out there. Visually, it is very pleasing to play. The HO mini games are cluttered and boring for the most part, nothing special there at all. The mini games are somewhat challenging. The game is nice but not overall outstanding. The entertainment value is not up there but still worth for me to purchase the game.
This game is definitely not a contender for game of the year and the graphics feel more like it's 2002 instead of 2012 but it has some things going for it that make it worth the money. The story is ok, there are a few conversations with characters that are short and that you can skip. The game treats you like an adult and lets you explore on your own which is one of the reasons I liked it enough to buy it.
I played 20 minutes of the demo and gave up. Everything feels awkward and you have to read to figure out what to do. Any game that involves endless reading will never get me to buy anything. The entire game feels like a step back game development evolution.
The Hidden Objects style was a welcomed change of pace. I am an avid HOG player and have found myself wanting more adventure / puzzles and less Hidden Objects in my CE games lately so this was an interesting switch. The puzzles were less than challenging but I would still highly recommend this game. Visually striking, enjoyable pace, in short a success overall.
I was pleasantly surprised by this game. The adventure was fun as well as challenging. The graphics could have been slightly better but overall a very well spent $7 bucks
