I killed some time with this game and it was pleasant enough but not without a few shortfalls for me.
One of my pet peeves of HOG is when graphics artists make everything grimy and dirty so things are harder to find, to me this is a lazy way not a clever way to hide things. However, once you overlook the so so graphics and the overall sooty feel, the game does have some challenging and different puzzles and an interesting although a little childish storyline.
This game has a lot of potential, it just fell short in too many areas for me to rate it above 3 stars but I do recommend it to anyone that has some free time.
This game is slow and tedious but I had some time to kill and enjoyed it.
If you are looking for action and dazzle, this is not a game for you. It has the feel and pace of an Agatha Christie novel. The artwork is pretty, it feels more like a painting than a 3 dimensional game. It is challenging in its own way although I ran around not knowing quite where to go next a little too often. There is a map and a "to do" list but it became less and less helpful as the game progressed. The hint button is only available in HOG scenes.
After using a secret alias to board the Titanic, things go terribly wrong and you find yourself trapped among the wreckage. In order to earn freedom from your watery tomb you must appease your captor by re-writing history and freeing the spirits trapped aboard the 'unsinkable' luxury liner as well as discover why fate has chosen this destiny for you.
It's very disappointing when you find a game that has an interesting story and a good "gimmick" but falls short in all other areas.
This game was very slow out of the gate until the ship sinks and then comes the twist where you get to go back before it sank and change things to accomplish goals in your new water logged universe ... but unfortunately it is so slow that I lost interest fairly quickly. The graphics under water are murky, everything is blue which I guess is the only way the artist knows to draw "under the sea". The HOG are the usual clutter, you open a closet in the boiler room and find tools mixed in with plates and silverware and vases... makes no sense to me.
I would recommend this game to a beginner, it has a lot going for it but it's just not for me
Even though I knew it would be a great game even before I saw 1 frame, I was pleasantly surprised by the hidden object twist they developed for this game.
The game progression is fun, not too much walking around back and forth.
The artwork is stunning, specially the animated scenes that are crisp and clean.
All the puzzles I have done so far have been very challenging but not impossible to solve.
I don't really pay a lot of attention to story lines in these games but this one is nice enough.
I almost gave this game 5 stars all around but I really hate when I have to redo the same HOG scene more than once. Nothing new or different there.
It is visually stunning and I was not even inclined to look for the skip button when animated cut scenes started to play. Even the music was pleasant enough for me to leave it on.
Excellent and entertaining. I purchased the CE version.
I was pleasantly surprised by this one. The graphics a very nice although the game feels more 2 dimensional than some of the better ones out there. The artwork is beautifully executed. Challenge is OK, requires some thinking. There is a lot of traveling back and forth which is a downside for me. All in all it is a pretty good Standard Edition game that should distract me for a few hours
Yet another CE that won't make my top 10 but still well worth the money. There is nothing new to discover in this game but they rehashed with style in my opinion. The graphics are crisp, clean and extremely well done. They packed it full of surprise scenes and this is somewhat refreshing. The walking back and forth really gets old fast though and I resorted to the hint button a lot to get me where I need to be.
I'll pass on this one. This was by far the worst game I have played in a while, I could only stand 15 minutes or so and I may have been too generous giving it 2 stars. The game play, graphics and general feel just seem very amateur.
This game is an all around big miss.
I don't recommend this game.

I am so happy we get to test drive games before shelling out any bucks. This game would have been a very bad investment for me. Any game developer that hides items just slightly out of view in the sides, top and bottom has lost me from the first frame. They are either sneaky or incapable of programming their game correctly....either way, they get no money from me. I wanted to like this game. The comic book style if the intro was different and pleasant. Unfortunately, the rest was a big let down and it went all downhill from there for me. The path was unclear and when I hit "hint" I kept realizing that I was looking for things that were tucked way in the corners. This happened to me 3 times in 20 minutes, after the 3rd time, I was no longer looking for the illusive object, I was looking for the exit button.
I was all around surprised by this game. Visually stunning, challenging with a good story, even the HOG which are usually cluttered boring messes bring something a little new and different to the party. This game had my full attention from beginning to end.
