This 'coulda' been a good game, if only it 'woulda' had a storyline more meaty and not sooooo many HO's and the game itself sooooo short. Guess I 'shoulda' saved my free coupon!! 'Shoulda' known better. :o(
I don't recommend you wasting your money on this....but...if you insist.....try the demo first.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game and would definitely recommend it. The only thing I can say against it is this: the dev's didn't tell us WHO these 'shadows' are, HOW they came to be or WHAT they want....which to me, has really left a big hole in the storyline.
I do recommend it BUT try the demo first.

In comparison to the other Spirit of Revenge games, this one was really bad. The storyline was ok but that is about the only thing positive about it. Am VERY disappointed in this one and feel I wasted my money.
I highly recommend you try before you buy!!

Usually these developers have some GREAT games.....but this ain't one of them. I can tell how good a game is by my NOT wanting it to end; and being totally engrossed in it. That is NOT the case with this game. I was sooooooo looking forward to finishing it. Because I paid good money for it, I forced myself to finish it.
The storyline could've been pretty good but it was very poorly executed. Couldn't figure out this so-called 'accord' between good and evil, when it happened, who was part of it, what went wrong etc. As for the 'monsters'....oh please....they look like a giant rendition of Fred Flintstone or Barney Rubble!!
Sorry, I was just bored with this game. I do hope the next one in this new series is a LOT better.
As with all games, I recommend you try before you buy. Some people obviously loved this game, going by the reviews but...like me....there were others that were just plain bored.

Won't do an in depth review....others have. Just wanted to say: absolutely loved this game!! A really good, different storyline....which I've been hankering after for a while now.
I only wish the majority of devs would give more in their 'endings'. THAT is the only thing I wished this game had more of. But many other games/devs do the same thing.
I recommend this game!

When I was a youngster my mum always told us kids....."if you can't say anything good about someone, then don't say anything at all". Sooooooooooo I'm not saying anything about this game; which says it all. :o)

I must have been playing a different game to those 4 and 5 star reviewers. To me, this was one boooorrrrriing game. I was sooooooooooo looking forward to the end. And I did have to play it to the end; it cost me a lot so I made myself finish it. This is so not worth the CE price. I've played MUCH better SE games than this. For me; I wouldn't even buy this at the SE price. You could buy the SE, when it comes out, using a coupon but even then, only if you want to waste a 'freebie'. Up to you. I'm just giving my opinion, which other low rating reviewers seem to agree with. Soooo........
PLEASE try the demo first, then if you want to pay a heap for a very mediocre game, that's up to you. After all, we do all have different tastes. I myself, should have played the demo first....then I wouldn't have wasted my money!!

I enjoyed everything about this game for the reasons many other high rating reviewers have already mentioned BUT there is one thing I really didn't like at all; and it's done by other devs as well. The Bonus Game is really a PREQUEL which is about what happened shortly BEFORE the story of the main game. I CANNOT STAND when devs waste my paid for Bonus Game with something that should really be a PREQUEL!!!!!! HELLLLLOOOOO DEVS...a prequel goes BEFORE the main game, not after....when eveything's all over!!!! CE's aren't cheap and hence I do expect to get a decent BG; not something that you should've included in the beginning of the main game. I always look forward so much to the BG and when devs do something like this...I'm soooo let down and disappointed!!! Gee thanks devs!! It made the CE price tag oh so worth it.....NOT!!!
So, I do recommend the game.....it's a beaut BUT get the SE!! Unless of course you like doing a prequel AFTER the story has ended and brought to a conclusion in the main game?!!
I recommend this game!

This is not worth the CE price...at least not to me. I've wasted my money on this one....just like I did with Cadenza: Kiss of Death CE. THAT really was the kiss of death and THIS ONE also has an apt title!! This game was boring to the nth degree and (like Cadenza) I couldn't wait to finish it. Way too many HOS, story was pretty lame and..well...the whole thing was like watching a very bad B Grade Japanese/Chinese film.
But.....we all have different tastes; soooooo my advice?.....TRY THE DEMO FIRST before you buy.
I don't recommend this game.

If you're having trouble sleeping then play this game; you'll be nodding off in no time!!
The story is a good idea but the execution of it is boring (to say the least) in that there is really no great 'action', no excitement, nothing that get's you right into the game; it doesn't pull you in!!! I've only played about an hour of the game and I'm so looking forward to the end. I KNOW, when I'm feeling like that, it's not a good game. It becomes more of a chore to finish it, rather than the enjoyment that I was really looking forward to.
I recommend that you play the demo first and then decide; after all, we all have different tastes. Personally, I think this game is not worth the CE price.
So, I do recommend the game but only because, even though I found it really sleep inducing, you may enjoy it!!??
I recommend this game!
