I played this game in 2014 and now I've re-played it in November 2020 and STILL thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and the bonus game. I would definitely recommend this game. See, 'progress' and 'better technology' does not necessarily equal better games. For the last few years there have only been a very few games that I've bothered to buy because the majority of them have been pathetic. So, I've been re-playing a lot of my older games and am finding them better than a lot of the stuff they're churning out now.
Anyway, I highly recommend this game. The main game is really beaut and the BG is a carry on of the main game. Both of them, I loved playing....was very entertained. No doubt, in another year or so, I'll be re-playing it again. :o)
I recommend this game!

This game had a lot of promise....but....it didn't fulfill it in any stretch of the imagination. It's incredibly BORING!! There's no other word for it!
I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone; try the demo if you must.

If you love a ton of HOS, this is the game for you!!
If you love a really great sounding story that doesn't pan out, oh my, you'll love this game!!

Because BFG hasn't been having that many really good games for the last couple of years, I've been replaying all my older games; which I must say are HUGELY better than most of the games out nowadays on BFG. Before playing THIS game I'd just finished playing ALL the prior Lost Lands and I must say, this Lost Lands: Redemption CE is VERY much UNDER PAR to the quality and enjoyment of those older games. I was sooooo disappointed because I was REALLY looking forward to playing this game but I find the older games greatly surpass this latest Lost Lands adventure. It's almost like the developers these days have lost their enthusiasm in creating great games. Either that, or they just don't care anymore.
So, I don't recommend this game, however I do suggest playing the demo!

I honestly don't know how anyone could possibly give this game 3 stars.....let alone a huge 5 stars!!?? It seems with MOST of these CE games that are out now....(and for the past few years), it's VERY rare to find an excellent one anymore. Which is why I've been replaying all the older ones I have; they're exceedingly of better quality than the rubbish we get nowadays. Amazing really, considering 'progress' eh!!? Well, as for this game....it's another DUD!! This is more suitable for a six year old....definitely not an adult. I cannot in all honesty find anything exciting in this game AT ALL!!
I don't recommend this game whatsoever. Please, try the demo before purchasing and if the demo is boring for you, believe me, so is the rest of it!! Zzzzzzz...snort!!!

I'm beginning to wonder if we'll ever get a really great, five star game to play!! And I mean a REAL five star game; not an awful game that still gets five stars and yet there's nothing to show for that amount of stars.

Hmm...I must have played a different game to the other reviewers as I found this game very much below par; considering how excellent the first few games in this series were. It seems like a lot of games these days have actually gotten worse and not better. I'm finding a lot of the older games were far more enjoyable, loved playing them, and felt really satisfied whenever I finished them. Money well spent!! NOT these days!!! Now, it's VERY rare to play an excellent game!! They're as rare as hens teeth!!
Please, try the demo first.

I must have played a very different game than the one the five star reviewers played. To me, this game is something a child of 10 would love. It was pathetic!! Because of all those five stars and over-the-top reviews I was so looking forward to playing this; it was spoken of as a brilliant sci-fi well worth waiting for. Excuse me.....it was NOTHING like that at all!! It was awful!! But hey, maybe lots of people like really corny, pathetic, boring children's games??!! I've wasted my money on this one!!
I highly suggest you try the demo. From the very beginning you can tell it's not a keeper!
