I was happy that Eipix took over the MCF series, but this is, wow, I don't know what to say. It's Huntsville with some of the Ravenhearst storyline mixed in. The puzzles are great, the graphics, other than the cartoon characters, are good, but really, what were the designers thinking? A definite not buy for me, and I have purchased ALL the MCF games.
I loved the first two or three Puppet Shows, but as time goes on, the story lines are weaker, simply recycling plot points from previous games. The graphics are good, as is the sound, but really, it's just tedious.
I have family over for the holidays, and this game keeps the kids (and some adults) out of the kitchen while I cook! Thank, you, BFG, your timing is impeccable...
Eipix again does MCF proud. I love the little nods to Ravenhearst in the opening scenes (the dangle from the rear view mirror). I will buy this one without waiting for a half off day!
Based on the demo, I will buy this chapter of the series. Not a purple and pink fairy or elf in sight, at least not in the demo. Intelligent story line, although I would leave the missing camera expert missing....
I was intrigued with the use of Stonehenge, but the game rapidly turned into a routine fairy tale adventure, complete with cute fuzzy creatures and sparkling flowers. I'm basing my opinion on the demo, perhaps the story went back to present day Stonehenge (although MI5 would be handling an internal threat, not MI6). But from what I saw, it's not worth the ride.
Intelligent storylines coupled with excellent graphics. There are a few glitches with continuity, but not enough to detract from the game. Long game play, and not a pink and purple fairy to be found. Excellent!
The graphics and music are great, Eipix always turns out a nice looking game, however, how many Golem and Gargoyle storylines are there? Very few, but they keep reappearing under different titles, but the same story over and over and over again. However, if you don't care that the story line is a repeat, it's a good game.
