I'm so grateful for this game this weekend. Since I'm not a fan of fairy tales and such, this game is right up my alley. I especially appreciate and enjoy the variety of minigames; the hidden object scenes are a hoot! Thanks for the creativity. Although some of the situations are familiar, the solutions are some I've never encountered before. Very, very much fun.
I recommend this game!

While Mad Head Games has been on my short list of favorite developers, it is now official that they have moved into the number one spot, as far as I'm concerned. While other favorite developers seem to have been slipping lately, Mad Head has substantially raised the bar. This game has everything anybody could want in a fun, challenging game. It's one of those games I didn't want to end, and, believe me, those have been few and far between. I hope they continue to provide us players with these worthy type of games. I'm already looking forward to the next one. Excellent work!!!
I recommend this game!

If there hadn't been a sale this weekend, I never would have bought this game as I usually don't "do" fairies and all that magical stuff. I especially did not care for the "magic monocle" as I feel these types of activities are quite childish in nature (just my opinion). I had some difficulties understanding what was expected in a few of the minigames causing me to have to skip, which I don't like doing. Also, some of the gameplay was unclear and sketchy. However, I found the variety of hidden object scenes quite fun and clever. And I absolutely love the Irish music in the background. All in all, not a bad game, but certainly not more than 3 stars. Again, just my opinion. It deserves a trial, so each can make their own opinion.
I recommend this game!

I managed to play about 30 minutes of the trial. I knew it was a no buy when I came across the first hidden object scene. I was playing at the "expert" level which was clearly defined as with "no glints". I guess this doesn't include HOS as there were glints and sparkles to announce itself. That makes me sooooo angry; I don't want or need sparkles. That makes the game too easy. And what's with the silly little angel? Her presence and constant swing her legs was way too distracting. This game is definitely not for anyone who wants any kind of challenge.
I don't recommend this game.

I won't go into great detail as it's already been said, but this game from ERS is such an improvement from what I had begun to expect from this developer. It's not a child's game; it was a good, challenging, entertaining game. Glad I bought it.
I recommend this game!

I barely made it for 15 minutes. Too, too cutsie for me. I outgrew magic, fantasy games many years ago. However, some of them can be fun and challenging; not this one. Even with the hard setting, I was told what to do next. I prefer to think on my own, thank you. If I see one more game with cute little animals as a helpers, well, you know. And to name them? Please! I prefer games made for adults.
I don't recommend this game.

I don't often write reviews, but I couldn't resist today. (Feeling kind of snarky after last night's game). I literally lasted 3 minutes playing this game. There were only 2 levels of play, so you can't turn off all the sparkles, and they are everywhere. No challenge whatsoever, in my opinion. The game was quickly deleted.
I don't recommend this game.

This is, by far, the best MCF to date. BFG has redeemed itself after last year's miss. I am in awe of the creativity of the developers. The game is beautiful, fun, and just plain awesome. There is nothing I could recommend to make it better; it stands on its own. Incredible.
I recommend this game!

I found this game to be incredibly easy and simplistic. Very linear; you need a piece of gold? Here it is! The hidden object scenes offered no challenge whatsoever; the "puzzles" could probably be completed by a 5-year old kid. And what is up with all these cute little furry animals that we "get" to name and buy toys and clothes for? It's just TOO cute. Where is Wylie E. Coyote when we need him?
I don't recommend this game.

It's all been said before, so I won't go into all the reasons why I was so disappointed in this game. But, I guess the bottom line was the fact this wasn't about my beloved Master Detective, but about Cassandra Williams. There was no "investigating" because Cassandra Williams directed the whole show. She told you what to do next. There was little "exploring". And those AWFUL floating pictures. It was just too repetitive and just plain boring. I found myself wishing it would soon be over.
I don't recommend this game.
