I never even finished the Demo which is unusual for me. The scenes take ages to load. First couple of mini games were bad as well. Eipix usually has good games but I think they must have bought other game makers and they are not always up to standard. This is one of those. Any game that takes 20 seconds to load a scene is not for me. Too annoying considering in these games you are constantly going to another scene. The game also took a long time to load.

This is the 2nd time I have come across a game that I have already bought and played but I am told I do not own it. That is because it is under a different title. The game I played worked fine but this one is very sluggish. Not made for newer computers. It is obviously an old game and I'd bet it has been remade and updated for newer computers which is the one I originally played. I think it's a great idea to remake them for newer computers, however I am not in agreement that they change the title. This makes it so we can end up buying the game twice. Different title but the same game. I wish I could remember the title of the game I did play, but I have too many games to keep track of all the titles. The original game was OK. It wan't a bad game but this version sucks big time. Fine if you are using an old computer. This game doesn't work well on my computer which is weird since my computer is 4 years old and this game is also 4 years old. Bet this game was made for Windows 7. I am on Windows 8.1.
I don't recommend this game.

I'm not into evil and creepy stories and since the demo for this game was so short, I figure the rest of the game probably is too. It's an old game and it shows. The hint button doesn't tell you where to go and it certainly does not jump you there. You have to look at the map and it's the worst map I have seen to date. Locations are shown in a very small circle and where you are and where you need to go are shown by a candle and a raven. I can't even tell which circle the raven is, it's that bad a map. Very poorly designed. On top of all that, when I first tried to play the demo, I used the Custom level and when I clicked on play I got an error message. Tried 3 times and on the 4th try, I didn't bother with the custom mode and the game worked. This is a Daily Deal and even at that price, I'm not buying. Compared to the newer games, this one sucks big time.

This is the 3rd Phantasmat game I have done the demo of. I did the original and this one and another I can't remember the name of. I find this series very dark and I'm not a fan of that. I do not understand why people like such gruesome tales. Someone mentioned this is the best Phantasmat of the series and all I can say is the story is disjointed and the game is not intuitive at all. Nothing makes sense and it's hard to know what you are supposed to do next. I had to use the map just to find out. I have some coupon codes to use and I'm looking for good games to use them on. This series is not for me at all so I will keep looking. I only tried them because of the high ratings. Goes to prove you have to demo the games yourself. Ratings doesn't mean you'll like the game. I have come across quite a few with high ratings that are not to my liking. So far I have found most Eipix games to be pretty good, but not these Phantasmat ones. I'd bet they took over the makers of this series. Their games are not usually so dark and depressing. I like a good mystery but doom and gloom is not for me. Makes me wonder what kind of mind set the devs have who makes these kind of games.

Based on the Demo. I'm not much into doom and gloom and this game is gloomy. As one reviewer mentioned, it's not intuitive. I had to use the map a lot just to know where to go. Lots of puzzles and I'm not much into those either. I find them mostly annoying. They take patience and to me that's not fun in a game. I like looking for items and using them. I found that a lot of the needed items were in really silly places. Places that didn't makes sense. I know these games are fantasy based but items could be put in more logical places. Phatasmat seems to be popular but it's just not my cup of tea. Why are so many games into the doom and gloom? I wish they would come up with more sci-fi based games.

Based on playing the demo. I don't understand the high ratings for this game. I have even seen people mention it in other game reviews and some said it was their favorite game. I guess in it's day it was a good game but now in 2018, it's old and it shows. No map and basically just a hidden object game. Lots of people like the gloomy and dark story lines. Not me. It's like I don't understand why people like horror movies. Unfortunately this seems to be the main genre today. Grim and dreary is popular. Not for me it isn't. I am not buying this game when there are new games with much better graphics and interactive things to do and maps that take you there. No going back a lot of scenes to get an object and then going back to where you were. Maps are a great feature, especially when they jump you there. If this game was a dollar I might consider it, but old games like this one that are the same price as new games makes it a no for me.

Based on finishing the game. Not a bad game, Especially since I got it as a Daily Deal. Graphics aren't bad but they aren't the best. Some of the HOS had hard to see items. Some were very small but they were different. I'm not much into mini games. I find most of them just more frustrating than fun so I skip a lot of them. A few I wasn't sure what they wanted but generally instructions are good. It's a good time waster. Story line was OK considering it's a fantasy. All in all I recommend this game but I wouldn't waste my money on the Collector's Edition.

Looks like a good game based on playing the demo.....but...... the scenes each take about 15 seconds to load. I actually counted one that took 48 seconds. Agonizingly slow. One reviewer said it was a long game. Yeah! Ya think? No wonder when you spend more time waiting for scenes to load than actually playing the game. Never seen any game like this except one. The last game I played, and this one is even worse for loading times. I think they may be from the same dev. Why does it take so long for the scenes to load? No wonder it's a Daily Deal. If you don't have a ton of patience, then don't bother with this one. You do something in one scene and go to the next one and wait at least 15 secs. Then you do another things and then go to another place and wait yet again. Over and over and over again. I have a ton of patience and even I can't stand the constant waiting times between scenes. What I don't understand is why the high ratings and no one mentioning this agonizing feature in this game. With games like this, they should pay us to play them. Way too annoying and not a buy from me even at the Daily Deal price.

I played the first part of this game. It's a pretty good game so far but each scene is agonizing slow to load. It takes at least 10 seconds and more just for each scene to load and this is with every single scene. I'm surprised that no one mentioned this in the reviews. It makes it a real pain and takes a lot away from the fun factor of this game. I would have given it at least 4 stars and maybe 5 if it wasn't for this slow loading of each and every scene. Considering the back and forth you have to do, it gets old really fast. I know it's not my computer since all other games don't do this. I recommend this game only for those with the patience to wait for each scene to load.

Based on the Demo. I can't say I enjoyed playing this demo. Please read the low starred reviews. I agree with all of them so I won't repeat them here. I love sci-fi so it's too bad this is such an awful game. It is too tedious even though the graphics are pretty good and the story line was good. Even at the special price of a Daily Deal, I'm not buying this one. If someone could take this game and modernize it with the features of newer games, then I might be interested.
