Game wouldn't load. Rebooted computer and it loaded but took forever to load. Just got to the first dialogue and got an error message and the game shut down. Never even got to try the demo. Glad I tried to do the demo before buying. I'm on Windows 8.1.

Game is very sluggish. The cells are slow to fill. It's very similar to the Pixel Art games which I love but this one is much less responsive. I will retry this game once I reboot my computer to make sure it's not due to my computer but I doubt it is.
Got this one as a Catch and free. Plus it's a Collectors Edition. Really good game. Much longer than most of the newer games these days. I haven't finished it yet so I don't know the ending but they usually end good. Not like some movies these days. Graphics are good as well. The hero's son started kind of wimpy, but seems to have found his courage later in the game. That's about where I am now. I'm not crazy about some of the mini games, but I'm not really into those. I like the hidden objects.. Not that many in this game so far, but it's still a great game.

What's with the 4 star review? I have bought about 20 Pixel Art games and this has to be the worst. Looks like the people who make this game got really lazy. There are so many tiny kid like pictures in this version and to top that of, like that's not bad enough, there are 3 pictures of these kid games that are pigs and they are almost identical. Different colors but the same picture. I have been a BF game member for quite a long time and have noticed over the years that the games in general are getting shorter and shorter as time goes on. I'm now buying games that are a bit older because they give you more game time. BF used to be the best but now they are getting cheap. They have removed their forum and that sucks too. If this trend continues, I will cancel my Game Club membership

Most of this game is pretty easy but some of the things in it are ridiculous. Who thought that using a beaver to chew a beam off a man was a good idea? Then you're outside and there's an old fashioned record player sitting on a swing outside in a snow storm. That's the silly stuff that ruins a game. No common sense was used. There is stuff like this throughout the game. Who writes the story line? The developers need to hire people who have some common sense. I wouldn't recommend the extra money to buy the Collector version.
Just played the demo. The reason I say it's not great is because it's seems like a pretty old game. It's OK but not up to par with the newer games. I think BF should sell these old games at reduced prices. I may get it at a lower price but I'm sure I can find better games for full price. Graphics are good though.
This is one of the worst games I have tried. Just did the demo and was glad when it quit. Very hard to find matches since the graphics are not very good plus it really gives you eye strain. I love hidden object games but not this kind. I won't be buying this one. Wouldn't even want it for free.

Based on finishing the game. It's not a bad game. It's one that is fairly easy and good for relaxing. Only, it has a Load screen for just about every scene you go to or open, which can be very tedious. I hate waiting for scenes to load especially when they take 10 or more seconds to load. I would think a 2017 game would not have that. I expect that for old games, not newer ones. If it wasn't for that, I would have given another star. I recommend this game for those who have patience. If not, forget about it. I normally wouldn't buy a game with wait times between scenes, but it was a Daily Deal. I sure wouldn't have paid full price for a game like this. The waiting is a no buy for me unless it's at a great price.

I just finished playing this game. It has a lot of unique ideas in it. Different kind of story and many unique games I have never seen before. The story tends to jump from one to the other but all in all it follows pretty well. The graphics aren't the best but hey, it's an older game and set in older times, so it fits with the stories. I actually enjoyed playing it. It's quite a long game as well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because one type of story-line mini game was repeated a bit too often. I think it was in each one of the stories. I'm not a big mini game fan but managed to do most of the ones in this game. I thought the devs to be quite creative in this game. It was different than any other game I have played so far. It is a bit of a dark story but it has no violence and nothing gruesome. Not a lot of HOS but here is still plenty to keep you busy. It does have a jump map and I always use those. Beats trying to remember where you've been and where everything is. There were a few times I was stumped as to what to do so the hint is a plus. I found it to be a relaxing game overall. There is a Custom setting for those who like a fast hint recharge and a fast mini game skip. Everyone has different tastes, so try it before you decide. I see so many people rate evil and scary stories as 5 stars and personally I don't care for the dark and negative. This one is a bit on the dark side but not in a scary way.
