Finally a lovely, great game that is beautiful to look at, really fun and totally entertaining. NO zombies,or dead demons out for revenge, just a very nice, story with some lovely surprises. This is going to be my Christmas present to myself. The designers have a real sense of humor in the mini games. The Hidden Objects are findable and about the right amount. Its logical, has great graphics, and I could play it again later this with my eight year old grand daughter on easy and she would love it too.

I think this game was very well thought out. It has great graphics, good sound and voice overs Three play levels,. My demo hour went by very quickly as I found the game story line to be absorbing. Some might find the mechanical spiders a little creepy, but the story weaves around them very nicely. Hint button recharged quickly. The hidden objects were interactive, findable items. There was one puzzle in the train station that referred to the journal for a clue as how to do it. The print was so small that it was too hard for me to see and I ended up skipping it out of frustration as did not want to spend the entire hour on it. I was pleased to run across new puzzles however. I think the collectors edition will be worth buying. Nice job on this game.
Explore the vastness of a ship lost in time, what mysteries will you uncover amidst its Mayan idols, menacing sea creatures, and exotic treasures? Find out in this exciting new Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game on the open seas!
I was delighted to discover I could customize the settings. In addition to the normal, hard,or expert settings, I could put it on the most difficult settings but still customise the fast hint recharge..I like that there was a map. I like that there were things to find and I could play majong instead of hunt for hidden objects. I liked the puzzels,as they took a bit of thought. I liked the rewards for not skipping puzzles and finding stuff. It had a logical sequence but required a bit of planning to go from dedk to deck of the ship. Lots of things to do and find. What was missing for me was the Ahhhh factor. That wonderful appreciation the comes from being surprised and delighted by opening the next scene to great imagination and surprise. Perhaps because this was an old ship we were exploring and it seemed a bit ho hum and I felt i had already been there and done that in some other series of games. My friends are missing and I got to resque the kid before he is taken over by evil. I mean where have we not seen that before.. I will still buy it, but not the collectors edition. There was so much I did appreciate about this game, just wish it had wowed me.
So all self control went out the window, and I bought this game after an hour of really fun play. I loved the story, graphics, hidden objects and mini games. It has a great flow to it that surprises and delights. I own all the games from this company and they are my favorites. I played on expert and then logged in on an easier setting with my eight year old grand daugher. She was captivated and did a lot of hopping up and down while telling me it was her favorite game to date. We then sat side by side while she hogged the mouse and discovered the wonderful layers of this game as she oooed and awwwed or hushed me to hear all the dialog and cut scenes . It will be an after school hour for us every day till its done. (Of course I will continue to play ahead of her on my expert setting as this is too fun for me too.)
I usually end up buying games as collector additions, but this one slipped by me. I purchased the regular version ( using a free game cupon) and am very glad to have added this game to my collection. It has more to it than is revealed in the first hour of play. In fact you have to be in it for awhile before extra elements start showing up. Magic abilities are awarded as the game goes on to allow the player to look through walls, or stop time. There are 5 magic abilities in all. The art work is quite wonderful and the imagination given to this is lovely. If it had had a map I would have given it 5 stars. However the hint button will lead you to where you have to go next. The puzzels are thought provoking, with some new twists. I like that it is not over done with HO scenes, and that the ones that are there are findable with a little focus. My hat is off to the makers of this game and I appreciate the skill and effort that went into a fun game to play.
I played the demo for one hour. I liked the award challenges as you played the game. The hidden objects were findable. I just did not find the game very interesting. The new level of game play we have all come to expect was just not there.
This is the game I have been waiting for: A super fun, original, game that is easy to navigate, has lots of stuff to do, and is artistically unique and lovely. I bought it after 24 minutes of play as I could see it was going to be great. The fun factor exceeds expectations, the sound and music fits the game story and speeds up or changes as you go. The voice overs are very professional and dialog is excellent. . The hint button will even direct you as to what to do next, if you are stuck. The map is clear, and I liked the added feature of finding objects to go into a larger mystery puzzle map as the game goes along. I am going back now to playing it now, but I would highly suggest this game. It has most of the features you expect to see on a collector game at the regular price.
I gave this game 5 stars because it deserves it. The developers of this magical game put a lot of thought into it, as well as included so many different ways to make it interesting. The graphics are terrific, and enchanting. Because the story takes place in the girls imagination, we have room for so many surprising and delightful ways to go from scene to scene. In one instance a house transforms into a lovely doll house that is larger than life, yet needs puzzles solved inside the house; While I have just played the demo, and will probably buy this one next month, I want to say that bashing a game (ie" giving in only one star) as well though out and cleaver as this one is just plain mean. I want to praise game companies that make if fun to play the games, by giving us great stories, maps, mini games, and unexpected twists. So great job, Keep em comming.
Once upon a time in the small, undistinguished town of Silentville people started disappearing. Help uncover the mystery behind these disappearances and save the town from a curse!
Ok, I hope when companies are making games they check out what made eveyone go so bonkers happy for this one. Its a home run, fun to play, good story, and beautifully rendered scenes. I also bought this one after a few minutes of play. The interaction of the hidden objects was amazing too. Well done.
I bought this after 20 minutes of play. Love the art work, mini games, story, ease of navagation, and help without having to go to the strategy guide. The voice overs are lovely, and the HO parts are fun yet take some thought to find. This game has every thing I love about playing an adventure game and HO game combined. Great Job.
