If you are a fan of making money and trying to beat out the competition, then this might be the game for you. There is a Dash Flo game that is based on the way this game works (I think it's called dinertown.) You run into all sorts of characters, but you're building an empire trying to beat out the bad guys. If you like games with competitiveness about who gets to the top and like entrepreneur style games, then this might be one for you. Anyone prefer to the Auction House on games or bartering when selling and trading and building on games? This might be one to try out the demo. An oldie, but a goodie! The challenge will not be so miserable that you get frustrated and get stuck. :) It's great that by the end of the day it speeds everything up so you don't have to just sit around watching everyone walking into their houses. I'd recommend this game to anyone of any age.

When Sally's Salon came out, I couldn't wait and just had to get it. I love the style (like alot of newer games that have the same style ... like having to get the hair and makeup to what they like based on their faces) The graphics are great, I love the upgrades, and I never got bored. I think the sally's line of games are really fun. :)

I am normally not into "fashion" styling games, and yes, I found it challenging to not only get through a level, but to meet every challenge that was on each level. I am going to go out on a limb and assume this game is aimed at moreso the female, but it would be interesting to hear opinions from males who enjoyed the game also. The sound isn't a major issue in the game, and I actually could live without the music just because I like to have other background stuff going on when I really don't need the music. The graphics are great for the type of game it is and the music is fine too. In this game, I did not need the music on the game and I did like to have the sound to hear if I was making a good choice and the countdown. So, the game is quite addictive and challenging even for someone who's not really into fashion and such. I went through the game twice, and I think it's as good as the newer editions of this game series.
