Have & love all the Strange Cases and this one looks just as good. Some one has kidnapped your late partner Tom's daughter Anna to get revenge on you. Follow the tarot cards again to solve the latest mystery and find the little girl.
I already bought it and recomend it.

This is an interest game. It has a unique story. A little dark and gloomy but it suits the theme. Even though dark it isn't hard to find the items or how to use them. I'm a little disappointed there is no map at all to see where you need to go but it makes it a little more challenging.
I think I'll be buying this one to see the wizard found by you (his brother). Nice twist. You have to stop the bad guy but you also want to understand & help because he is you brother.
Not super spectacular, there are lots of those out there, but I recommend this one for the unique adventure. I would have given 5 stars with a map.

I was tempted to get the CE but held out to get the SE. I didn't notice that much of a difference other than the hidden fairies so the SE is good for me. Very nice graphics, not overly complicated puzzles and the hidden items are found pretty close to the time they are needed to advance in the game. I had the first 2 chapters complete in the 1hr trial and since there are 8 chapters there should be lots more to enjoy.
I just purchased taking advantage of the double punch March Monday special.

I loved the Gardenscapes and this is just as much fun.It's fun to watch the characters like in the Gardenscapes.
I love the more elaborate adventure HO games but sometimes you just want a pure HO game you don't go in circles trying to find were to go next.
I buy games like these also for my mom who in her 70"s loves to play the HO's but doesn't like the complicated adventure type.I grew up in the country, she'll love this one.
I'll be buying this one for sure.

Who wrote why Halloween inFebruary. Why not? February is a pretty depressing & cold month, why not spice it up with some spooky Halloween fun.
Judging by the hour trial this looks like a very intesting game.
Nice scenery and characters and an interesting story. I think I'll be picking this one up during the bogo sale before it ends today. Can't beat 1/2 price for a fun game to forget the winter blahs.

I played the 1 hr of the CE version and quickly forgot it. It looks good but nothing new or special to make me feel like buying it. I tried again with the SE and it didn't change my opinion. It looks good and the HO scenes have blank shapes you find the object to place and find another object. Story seems slow and very vague, boring. Maybe when the game goes on sale I'll get it but there are many other games this month that are more enoyable.
I don't recommend this game.

This is all that I expect of Blue Tea games. Beautiful game that is lots of fun, challenging and an entertaining story. Unlike most bad guys this one you have to wonder about, she isn't the typical wicked witch (hate the old type casting) this character of the Phoenix Queen seems to be doing what she's doing out of a duty or responsibility we don't know about yet rather than the usual revenge or jelousy theme. I usually wait for the standard game due to $ but this collectors game also has a presequil available after the game is completed. That would make it worth paying the extra $. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.
I recommend this game!

Loved the first 9 the Dark Side and this looks and feels just as good. Super mini puzzles, not just the same expected mini games as other games, these are fun and a real challenge. I ran out of time playing one of them and didn't care, it was that much fun. I'll definately be getting this one to see how the story unfolds. Glad there's a interactive map and we again have the magic gem to detect evil spirits. 9 are both such wonderful games you won't be disappointed.
I recommend this game!

Loved the CE version but had to wait for this one to save $. Great story and beaufiful graphics and the Newfoundlander dog Athur who is a great helper if digging up extra clues. I enjoyed all the other Poe Dark Tales so I'm sure I'll enjoy this one too. Can't wait to play the rest of the game. I will be buying it right away.

I played the CE but I don't think I was feeling in the right mood at the time and I didn't remember much of the original. I went back and played the original before trying it this time and enjoyed this game much more. Love the little dragon. It's a little darker and gloomy than the first one with more of the sense of urgency to find the husband you thought was dead & to save your daughter again but that's only judging by the 1hr trial. By other reviews I expect it to be a very good long game to get into. I'll be buying this one shortly.
