I love the magical & period adventure/HO games but 9 out of 10 still revolve around the same old story of a witch kidnapping someone you have to rescue. At last a designer with a DIFFERENT STORY for a change. NOT REALLY A HO GAME. This is mostly an adventure game with a nice twist. Your on another world exploring but your boyfriend / partner is hurt and you need to find out how to help him and get your ship home but a storm outside has caused some damage.
There isn't a clear story at first to know where you need to go next but the map helps. I had to use the hint button a few times to know where to go next but the game as a whole so far during the 1 hr trial was very interesting and a nice change from the majority of games out there right now. I'm sure I will buy it.

I have not played any of the other clutter games but thought I'd try this one. LOVE IT! The 1 hour trial went by way to fast! Very addictive. I'll have to use my game credit and buy this one right away.
I recommend this game!
Stop the disaster caused by the Sky Kingdom and save the day!

LOVE ALL THE DARK PARABLE GAMES , RED RIDING HOOD SISTERS BEING MY #1 FAV BUT THIS IS ANOTHER TOP FAV JUST BY THE TRIAL. WILL BE BUYING RIGHT AWAY IN CE. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE STANDARD VERSION. I haven't left a review in a while. I just haven't played a new game lately that was different or worth buying or reviewing. They all seem the same. This game is definitely different and fun to play. I bought it with a game credit without playing the demo. It was fun but way to short. When I saw all the buildings on the map I thought this was going to be a long adventure but you went back to the same places several times. The games & HO scenes were easy maybe a little too easy for the HO pros like me. Then boom you found the bad guy and were done. You do get to make the decision on how the game ends. Do you arrest the bad guy or join him.
I liked it but it was way to short.
Recommend for a simple alternative to the long complex all the same adventure/not really HO games out there.

Love many of the fairy tale games I have most of them but this one is lacking story & graphics with cheap cutout characters. The only extra star I'd give is for the baby dragon.
Even being a cat & dragon lover there's nothing worth a CE game price and I don't even think I'll bother when the SE comes out.
Can't like them all.
Try any of the Dark Parables for the best fairy tale stories.

Only by discovering clues left by advanced civilizations can you stop the return of an ancient enemy and save Earth.

I studied archaeology, love ancient cultures and mysteries of the unexplained around the world so I hoped this would be fun. It had to be the worst game I've ever played on Big Fish. Not only do I have no intention of buying it but I dumped it from the game manager as soon as the hour was up. Lousy blurry scenes, absolutely no direction or purpose to it. It takes 3 minutes just to figure out how to get out of the stupid airplane cockpit to start off the game. Hidden object list so low you can't even see all the items listed. It's a good thing there are no click penalties because you have to click everything to find anything of interest. Keep going back to the airport to look up tourist flyers to find out were to go next and take a cab everywhere. SOOOOO BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!
A game about ancient civilizations and ancient aliens should be so much more than this waste of time!! Don't waste your time or your computers memory on this one!!!
Try 7 Wonders- Ancient Alien Makeover instead! Way more fun!!!!! I rarely give neg reviews but watching grass grow will be a better use of your time!

I love all the Dark Parables and this is just a great. The Red Ridinghood Sisters is still by favorite but I know I'll love this one as well. One of the best designed series of games out there. Can't say more than others have already as far as details but I wanted to voice my 100% recommentation for this game. Keep them coming!

I was looking for a solitaire game last year but didn't find one I liked that was different. The hour trial went by so fast I was so disappointed. I know I'll buy this one and enjoy hours of fun. I like the different layouts and I love the colorful cards. This is a super solitaire game.
I recommend this game!

I gave up & went looking for the exit after 15 minutes! If you want a great " I woke up alone in a castle and don't know who or where I am" game, play Awakening - The Dreamless Castle and the great sequels to that game. This one is a giant snore. I don't usually give neg reviews. I usually only review the games I like but I was sadly disappointed with this one.

Bought sight unseen. First time I've not waited to try the 1 hour trial first. I knew from the 2 previous gardenscapes we are all in for lots of fun.
I just stopped my review to play a bit of the game. As expected it's loads of fun. This time going to old Austins family home and fixing it up for his parents along with his faithful dog " insert name here".
I'm going back to play some more. Go buy it!
