I love griddlers/nonograms/whatever you want to call them. This particular game, though, is very hard to see as the numbers are a faint white against a very light background. There is no "story" content or any educational commentary. And after playing only a few levels, I've already been forced to "guess" (which shouldn't happen in this type game) or buy hints. While I usually buy griddler games, not sure I want to strain the old eyes on this one! Cannot recommend it to anyone with vision issues.
I don't recommend this game.

This is not a true nonograms game because you have to guess at which squares to x out. A true nonogram is mathematically formatted so logical thinking is involved -- no guessing. I was intrigued by the story and tasks involved, but the guessing -- even on the very first level -- is a waste of time. For that reason, I can't recommend this game.

I love nonograms and am very experienced at playing them, but this game is too confusing. Worse than the colorful "mosaic" games. Can't figure out which color to use. Tutorial wasn't very helpful. After 5 minutes I ran out of patience. I would prefer something more straightforward. For that reason, I can't recommend this game to serious nonogram lovers.
I don't recommend this game.

I love griddlers, nonograms, mosaics -- whatever you want to call them. However, this one is too confusing with various colors popping up, making it very difficult to readily see which squares are available and which ones you've already used. Gave me a headache after 10 minutes. UGH!
I don't recommend this game.

I played the whole demo, which took less than an hour. The storyline is okay if you like this sort of fairytale/fantasy setting. Graphics are colorful and detailed, with pretty scenery. Voice overs are acceptable. I found a couple of mini-puzzles that didn't exactly work properly or had a bit of a timing glitch. So far there's good variety between hidden objectives (not my favorite) and mini-puzzles.
Not yet decided about buying this game. Would like to hear from someone who has finished the SE version to see if it's worthwhile. Meanwhile I'll give it a tentative recommendation.
I recommend this game!

My review is based on the SE game. I've played all the other Mystery Trackers games and have enjoyed them, except for dark scenes and a few frustrating mini games/puzzles here and there. I really like the Owl Man story in this one; it's different and intriguing. There are 4 gameplay modes; Elf the tiny dog is back to help you get into tight places; there's a new "Gift of Sight" element and I agree with other reviewers that it's a bit clunky but it does provide some answers in a "this is what really happened" way; hidden objects are presented in a variety of ways; puzzles and mini games are pretty good even though it might take a minute to figure out what you're supposed to do. This is a definite buy for me, but I am tempted to get the CE as reviews have been very positive; it comes with a good bonus game, collectibles, morphing objects, and other additions.
I recommend this game!

I've played and enjoyed the other Secret Order games so was happy to see another picking up where the last one ended. This game has a little bit of everything: drama, HOGs, and puzzles. Graphics are clear. HOGs let you switch to Mah Jongg tile game instead, if desired. Nothing overly challenging, but just enough to stop and think. Basis of storyline is Egyptian archeology/antiquities. If you enjoyed the previous games in this series, you'll probably enjoy this one.
I recommend this game!

As with the previous Poe and Inspector Dupin games, the graphics here are great. There's a wide variety of puzzles; some ridiculously easy, and others wickedly challenging. Most puzzles have a casual and harder option. The storyline started out quite interesting, but I was confused at the end. I also think the game was a bit on the short side. Still, lots of fun and it will hold your attention.
I recommend this game!

If you like nonograms, a/k/a "fill and cross" or "griddlers," you'll enjoy this game. It has a pirate theme, so expect language and music that goes with it. My only complaint is that I can't tell what most of the pictures are at the conclusion of each riddle. Other than that, I'm playing this with Windows 7 and everything is working just fine.
I recommend this game!

The only good news is that I tried the demo before buying this game. I've been waiting for a time management game for weeks now (where are they???) so was happy to see one come along. Unfortunately the demo lasted less than 15 minutes -- but that was enough to show me how rudimentary this game is. Absolutely for small children, no real challenge and can't compare to Royal Envoy or Vikings time management series. Bummer!!!!!
I don't recommend this game.
