This is NOT part of the regular "Rescue Team" series. It's confusing, a lot of stop and go, and I spent more time following instructions than playing the game. Didn't find it to be fun at all.
It was "okay" as a match-3 game, but could have been so much better. Once you start a level, there is no way to stop and restart. You also can't repeat a level to better your score. I've played the whole game twice (won't be a 3rd time) and there's no way to compare high scores. Doesn't give you a chance to go back and replay those level where you didn't get 3 stars. These are all big misses. A lot of the levels are played in "smoke" so it's hard to differentiate between colors. This is only a "meh" for me...
The screen is too busy with objects/people/animals running and floating around. Storyline and dialogue are silly and poorly written. I love TM games but not this one.

I love these types of games, technically called "nonograms" but also known as mosaics, riddlers or griddlers. However, this one is just too hard for me to see given all the different colors. I am slightly color blind so this is a no go for me. Someone else may love it, but not good for anyone with any vision issues.
I much prefer this griddler game over the popular "mosaic" series for two reasons: 1st, this is a true griddler, a/k/a nonogram; it is based on logic and makes you think. 2nd, I'm a bit color blind so those multi-colored mosaics really give me a headache, plus they tend to be more fill-in rather than logic. I realize this may be boring for some, but if you are looking for a thinking game, this is it.
I have played all previous games in this series and found them to be challenging and fun, although the dialogue was never very good and clueless Dracula gets himself into some really dumb situations. This new one has some of the same characters, including overworked yet loyal Rufus, the butler who can only say "eeehh..." I got through 9 levels on the demo and had to do a couple of them twice. The roads twist and turn so it's sometimes difficult to figure out where you're going and how to get there. The storyline (still rather dumb) involves the evil Loki (he sure shows up in a lot of games these days!) and various paper characters (low cuteness factor) in "Oz-meets-origami-land." It's all pretty stupid and much of the dialogue (again) makes no sense. If you just take this for the time management and strategy elements of the game, the challenge is still there. I don't plan on buying this as a CE, altho' another challenging element is trying to find the hidden statues etc and I'm not sure they will be included in the SE whenever it comes out. If you really love TM games, and can look beyond the silliness, you'll probably enjoy this one. If you're more into the story and characters, probably not a good buy for you.

There are no instructions. No power-ups that I could find. Limited number of moves at each level. The scoring does not make any sense. Not very exciting. The storyline was fairly interesting but the game itself is "meh" at best.

I love the Viking Brothers series and, in fact, love just about all similar TM/Strategy games. I enjoy a good challenge and this one in particular is considerably more difficult than previous VB games. During the trial period I only made it thru Level 7, having to repeat a couple of them just to get one star. The music is light and energetic (pretty sure it's the same music as VB2). Graphics are great and I encourage you to look at all the wonderful small details. I agree with earlier comments suggesting that CE bonus levels should just be included with SE game. Can't imagine many players are really interested in the other CE elements. Not yet sure I will buy this one, will probably wait for SE.

This is a high/low solitaire game. You can play in timed or relaxed format. Very nice graphics and soothing music. The basic game levels so far seem fairly easy; have had to repeat only one to get 3 stars (highest rating). There are more difficult bonus games that allow you to "buy" (with the coins you win each level) power-ups to use on future levels, but I can't get them to work. Not sure if this is a design flaw or I'm doing something wrong. You can also "buy" upgrades to advance the storyline, but you can't choose which upgrades. Until I hear that the bonus upgrades are working properly, I'll wait and see on this.

I love time management games and have enjoyed this series in the past. This game, while offering good graphics, falls short. The storyline has been used many times before so nothing new. Some of the sense of it is lost in language translation. My biggest complaint is too much trial and error, rather than strategy. Spent too much time trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do and in which order. I know that's what time management games are all about, but this one doesn't seem to have any logic behind it. Sad to say I'll pass on this one...
