This is a really short review because others have done an outstanding job of explaining the games itself. But I am having a GREAT time with this one. The animations are cute and the puzzles get harder and harder as you go, but they are mostly just logic and the ability to think several turns ahead. If you want something that is not timed, had no HO or scary scenes, and is just fun to logic through, I encourage you to give the demo a try.
I recommend this game!

Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove, Sacred Grove Collector's Edition
I won't go through what all of this is about since others have covered that very well, but I will say that this game did NOT disappoint. What did I like so much?
The story line is great. It pulls in other MCF stories and characters giving the player a continuing sense of time and story which I love.
The graphics and sound are outstanding as well. They allow choices in what you ask other characters you get to interact with and that is more fun than just "wandering" around.
The puzzles rock - Whether it is the logic of "what would I really do next"? to the door locks, they are so much fun and so frustrating at times. I had to skip a couple, but I will go back and replay this, and next time I will stick with it until I get each one.
In short, it is just what I expect from this developer and story line. I also appreciated the pull-in of the Mistwalkers and other Druidic beings. We have little respect for our environment these days so that is a great touch too. Excellent job!

Nevertales: The Beauty Within
You were just about to relax with a good book when a stranger leaves a baby on your doorstep.
I LOVED, loved, loved this game! It had a really unique story line, it brought in fairy tales with a twist, it lasted a good long time (I played for around 5 hours), and the HOPs were so much fun. They were different in that they required thought, not just "seek-n-find". Additionally, there were fun mini-games around a lot of corners, much logic was required, and in short, I just loved it. I am not that picky on voices and "mouth movement" matching, but the colors were bright and the visuals well done. Finally, the story line was a bit of a surprise ending, although I think I was suspecting who the protagonist was by the end. If you are looking for something a little different, this might be for you!

MouseCraft
Help Schrödinger complete his experiment by leading mice to the cheese! Defeat different obstacles, gather collectibles and solve challenging puzzles!
This is a delightful little game along the line of Professor Fizzwizzle, except with the cutest little mice! The first few are easy enough, but they get harder as you go of course. If you like logic puzzles this is for you. There are no time limits, no stress, just strategy, and of course cute little mice

Next Stop
Set your business back on the track to success! Repair a dilapidated railroad and reroute from the brink of bankruptcy before it’s too late!
In this time management game, you have 40 days to turn your uncle's railroad around before the bank repossesses it, and you do that by meeting a variety of goals.
This is a combination of strategy and time management and I really enjoyed it. It is not hard to make the full goal on every level but a couple and it feels good to snatch the railroad away from the snarky banker. - ha ha

So, in this game you are two characters - Enron (the vampire) and Emily (the human), and you have been separated by Enron's father who happens to be Count Dracula. He has kidnapped Emily to turn her into a vampire, because you (as Enron# have decided NOT to be a vampire.
I have some questions about the premise. I thought being a vampire was a matter of nature, not one of choice. Even if I desire to never eat again, it is unlikely that I can hold to that premise because hunger will surely take over. And so it would be with Enron. Next, why is he so angry at his father's activities as a vampire when he is one himself? Did he NEVER do any of the things we see that his father has done? And finally, what does he think is going to happen when he realizes that he wants to bite Emily? Or when she catches him chowing down on other people, male and female?
Anyway, to the game play:
The game is okay - I wouldn't rate it much higher than a 3 overall just because there are way too many HOG #Hidden Object Games#, the puzzles are either way too simple, or just take more effort than I want to expend, the artwork is good, not many real "actor" effects. The sound is fine and the music is good.
I think I really liked the story line more than anything else, suspending all disbelief that a vampire and a human could truly have a "normal" relationship. It was also interesting to play the two characters, and have to send things between the two. There were some creepy areas, like the torture chamber, but I never got a shiver.
Overall I guess I would recommend the game, but maybe the CE #Collector's Edition# would be better. I had a free game credit and used it for this..

I loved the original FTs, and I love this one too. The storyline is engaging as are Harry and Kaylee. My only complaint is that I purchased every upgrade and fulfilled every quest and still finished it in about 5 hours... Oh well. it's still beautifully and amusingly done.

I have other of the Awakening Series, and I liked them really well for the most part. This one has a lot going for it: - It is huge. I frequently finish most of these types of games in 5 - 6 hours of play, so it was fun to find one that I can play for a LONG time. - The graphics and music are excellent. Items are easy to identify, although you end up playing each HOP location multiple, multiple times. Makes it a lot faster, but gets boring too. - It has an interesting story line that morphs as you play so that is good too. - Resources refill even when the game is off. If you close the game down at night, it will be playable again in the morning.
What I DON'T like about the game: - I just have a general issue with paying real cash for play coins. I wanted to play for a contiguous amount of time, but kept running out of energy to work on the quests, and the only way to get money was to do the quests. So I would buy more food items to get more energy and then I would run out of money which prevented me from upgrading buildings. Darn. I discovered that collections could be exchanged and some of them for a good deal of money, so that helps offset some of it.
Overall it is a beautiful, fun game. I don't mind the continuous quests - they remind me of Wandering Willows in that you solve one thing and another 1 - 2 pop up. The key is to remember that you don't have to do all of them at once. And once I discovered that the energy bar refills even when the game is off, it became more fun. I just play a while and then let it set for several hours - kind of like the Virtual Villagers games. I would recommend this to anyone that wants an easy game that is casually played

I have a large number and wide variety of games from BF, but this was reminiscent of Doom 3 which is still one of my favorites. It is well done, sufficiently spooky, and loads of fun.

I bought the collector's edition and it did not disappoint. As with the original Green Hill Sanitarium, the puzzles were challenging without being either impossible or stupid, and the creep factor was great. The visuals and sound we good as well. I love this series and can't wait for the next installment
