This was a fun game, as almost all of the Incredible Dracula's are. They have continued to find ways to make it different and interesting and still fun, even though you do basically the same things as usual in all of the games. There are new tools and goals, but I think my favorite part is that they have changed up the order in which things need to be done. In past games, you would just complete buildings mostly in the order that you reached them, or had the materials. In this one, even on the easy level (which is always my favorite), I had to restart many of them over again because I needed to prioritize on over the others. Frustrating at the time, but in retrospect more fun. I hope others enjoy it as much as I did!
I'm a "sorta love it - sorta indifferent" type when it comes to Match 3 games, but I love this one. It is a lot of fun, with good graphics and music (not at all intrusive) and I like the good variation of games it has to play. It's not linear which makes it even more fun, and there are collectibles, that, based on how few I have found, will make this game pretty long. Like others, when the demo was over, I just went "huh?" and immediately bought it. I hope you enjoy it too!
I was SO excited to see a new HOTK out, and bought it without even an advanced play. This and Adelantedo are two of my very favorite game series. I love the continued high graphics, good story line, and general fun. I just have a few frustrations... I liked the old series for interaction with people better. The new one is, I think, a little confusing. I also really dislike that things you need do NOT respawn. I miss the cave where I would go to cook food, increase my skills, make weapons, make potions, etc. This is all too money centric, and no matter how careful I am with my supplies, I feel like I am always running behind the money 8 ball. I wish they had kept the features from the last one and just updated the story line. Change is not always needed or positive just for sake of change or "new"
I had so much fun playing this game. It feels and looks just like I want my Christmas games to look and feel. There are others that have covered all of the details so I will just say that I love the graphics, the colors and the puzzles - they are not too hard and not too simple. The game is not linear so that makes it more fun too. I would personally recommend this game if you want to get into a Christmas mood.
There are so many things to love about this game. To start with, it is very similar to the first two, in terms of mini-quests, story lines, etc., and getting rewards for doing good deeds or tasks for people. Then the things I love even more are the changes they have made: I can sleep anywhere I want to now, just by clicking the camp button instead of traveling somewhere else; I can collect things I haven't been "trained" in - like crates, eggs, mushrooms, and other things; I can fight without being specifically trained and the more I fight the more I gain experience, as it should be. I can collect ingredients and make my own food so I can regain my strength instead of having to pay someone to make it for me. Overall, I simply love this game!
I LOVED the Adentalado trilogy, not so much the fourth one. But this one is right there with the first three. Excellent fun, great story line, creepy Filth... Just fun. Like others, I was ready to hit the buy button way before the demo was done, and to get it on sale was even better. Hope you enjoy it too!
And it really is in this story. Beautiful graphics, lovely Christmas music, puzzles that aren't too hard, but some of which offer a challenge.
Over all I really like this game. It is sweet, with a lovely storyline, and cute characters. The helper on this one is okay and not too annoying like some are.
I loved the graphic and traditional music the most because it has allowed me to get into a Christmas mood, which was a little lacking at the moment, but not now.
If you want something to play with your kids or grandkids that is nice and gentle. no darkness, horror of horrors type of thing, this is a good game for you. No time limits on the mode I played and I just enjoyed the gentleness of it.
Enjoy and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I should be honest first off about the fact that I love this series, and the most recent one does not disappoint. I gave it high marks in every category, but I especially loved the storyline, and I thoroughly enjoy a game that can be played untimed. I usually go back and play it timed after I play it on "relaxed", but the first run through gets me acclimated to the game and how it works.
I thought the story line was excellent because you have the usual good and bad characters, but you don't always know which is which - such as when the Queen's father sets up a tournament to marry her off to the winner... without discussing it with her!
This is the usual, collect, build, upgrade type of game. You can play it on one of several difficulty levels, and there are a few that you have to strategize on in order to progress. I think I had to restart one of them four times before I figured out the exact sequence I needed.
Try the demo, and I hope you like it as well as I did.
Lifeline is a playable, branching story of survival against all odds! Help Taylor make life or death decisions, and face the consequences together. Or see what happens when you make a different choice.
Okay.... so no graphics, no audio... Just a black screen with white text, and a smart aleck student on the other end... on another planet, in some solar system. By himself, all other shipmates are dead, not much found yet in food and water rations, no real shelter other than one near the afterburner and it has some slight radiation. And you are the only one that can help him... run internets searches, give him your opinion on next steps, and maybe get him killed. Fortunately, if you made stupid decisions on his behalf, you get another chance.
I LOVE THIS GAME. It is gripping from the beginning (somewhat in the style of the old text games like "The Leather Goddess of Phoebus), only you don't tell him to "look down" "look left", etc. You read his situation and then make a decision which he will mock you for of course (but so far I haven't killed him).
The only thing that took a little getting used to is it is supposed to be "real time", so if he tells you he will get back with you in an hour, it will probably be around an hour. That just means you can multitask.
If you don't mind *not* being spoon fed graphics and music, and want to use your imagination for a while, this game will suit you perfectly. It has me, and I am a long way from being finished. But... I haven't killed him yet. Enjoy!
This developer does a great job of changing up the challenges from one game to another. In past games, you had to get lots of gold, frequently using stone and a Sorcerer's Stone. That made it a little easier at times, but this time you have to have crystals for almost everything. However, in this game, they set up caches for everything, which vary from level to level. The developer still gave you buildings for most things, and they could be upgraded while the caches could not. However, the "pick up all resources" button worked for the caches as well which was appreciated.
I also liked that I did not have to waste time and resources on every single level upgrading the Zombie mobile. You upgrade once and after that it is there for you at that level.
The graphics are good, and clear, and the colors very well done. The voices and music were not annoying which is a treat these days, and the storyline is cute and full of humor. The objectives are clear even if the path isn't always.
I love this series and this one did not disappoint. As long as they keep changing the games up and finding a funny storyline with the ever amusing Rufus and the Princess, I will keep buying them.
Thank you also for making the untimed version available. I can do the timed ones, but generally when I sit down to play a game it is not to stress myself, it is to relax.
