I tried this game because I REALLY like match 3 games and there just hasn't been much new coming out lately. So I thought I'd try some of the existing games while I wait! I was pleasantly surprised! It looks like a child's game but it is deceptively challenging!! There is definitely a "trick" to getting the most bang for each shot, but once you get the hang of it, there are many new things to learn and the game keeps adding difficulty and little hidden helps or tricks with each level. I haven't figured out whether dressing Plume for the weather challenges actually helps....but what the heck?? It's fun and he looks cute! The screens are colorful, the sound of the jugs exploding is satisfying and I didn't notice the ambient music and sound to be annoying - I did have the volume low, but still wanted to hear the magpie's #?# coaching #'cuz he sounds so cute and funny!# Bottom line, it's a fun, challenging #but not exasperatingly so# and innocent game! Yes, there are 2 bad birds who are trying to corrupt the cute innocent birds, but there's no gory death #well, other than mechanical bad stuff sent your way...O, and evil jugs!# I admit it's not one of those flashy, edge of your seat kind of games, but at the end of the day it's cute and fun and I think I will play it over and over when I need to decompress and blow up some jugs and save the happy birds! So, yes!! I liked this game and all you other fishies should try it & see if it's your cup of tea too!
I recommend this game!

WOW!! Those 3 letters sum up this game for me!! I was blown away! Truly one of, if not THE top game ever!! I was playing along at first, enjoying this really nice game, and then WHAM!! Everything starts to happen when your daughter gets taken....and the pirate ship!!? I actually jumped!! It's truly like an adventure movie, but interactive!! A superior game! Thank you Dev's and Big Fish!! The sound/music is great and I left if on, which I usually don't as tedious music or noise begins to grate on my last nerve. (and I play to relax and enjoy!# Visually, the game is fantastic! #Have I mentioned the pirate ship??) The HO scenes are not pointless and the graphics are crisp and clean. The storyline is really great and I REALLY enjoyed this game! I've already bought it and can't wait to play! I'm not one of those reviewers that go into minute detail about every specific of each game. All I usually go on is was it fun? Was the storyline interesting, flow smoothly and make sense? And was the quality of ambient sound and/or music good and elevate the game? And to all those criteria I can answer with a resounding YES!! I always feel that everyone should try each game for the 1 hr. demo for themselves so they can make an educated judgement for themselves before shelling out money or game credit for a game. But I'm sure that almost everyone will love this game! Have fun everyone and thank you Big Fish!!

I read the one review and wanted to try this game for myself as I LOVE a good match 3 game. Was I surprised! Yes, it looks like a child's game, but as you play, it is surprisingly challenging! I did find that the 2 colors of gold or yellow (whatever BF calls them# were so close in hue to each other that it was a little hard at first. But the overall charm and challenge of the game outweighs that minor problem. I was so busy earning points so I could purchase more and better power-ups that I was deep into the game and all of a sudden - black screen!! My 1 hr was up!! NOooooo! So I had to buy it right away! The only real drawback I found in the game #besides the 2 similar colors) was the insane giggling when you made a good match. But that was easily remedied by muting the game. That 1 small annoyance was not enough to take away from the fun factor of this cute little game! I don't know how long it is yet as I just now bought it, but based on the 1 hr demo, it seems like it will be a decent length. As always, do try the 1 hr demo and judge for yourself as everyone has different tastes. I will sign off now as I have to go play my new game some more!! Happy gaming!

I really didn't know what I was getting with this game, but during the 1 hr demo I fell in love with this game!! Such beautiful music (very mystical and soothing) and very satisfying explosions when you match 3 or more of the colored jars that the fairies are imprisoned in. The colors are vibrant and not the cartoonish drawing type. I didn't realize how addictive this game was until I looked up at the clock and it was 3 AM! Oops! It was well worth it though as I was so relaxed that it made up for the lost sleep!. I wish there was more of this type of game as it really is different and really nice! Totally absorbing and beautiful gameplay. Bright colors and I LOVED that there were 4 different levels of game play depending on how much challenge the player desires. I bought this game before the hour demo was up!!

This was like one of my steamy, girlie romance novels!!! LOVED IT!!! Puh-leeze BF..we need MORE like this! I believe it is so close to the novel as the author contributed to the game. (Which is why part 2 is so dissapointing - but that's another review elswhere!) The hidden objects were well incorporated into scenes, no junk piles and trash to dig through--yaay! The story carried you along and I was SO dissapointed and surprised when it ended! Cliffhanger alert!! The mini games were also incorporated into the scenes and you discovered them as you searched for HO's. So you could decide when to click on the mini game prompts to play them. I don't consider myself an "expert" but even the more daunting looking mini games were solvable without any skips! Joy! One of the more corny, dissapointing mini games though, was "dress Haji"....really?? I completed that challenge but found myself so embarrassed by it that when the Hubby came into the room I quickly turned off the game!! Not good! But everything else was so great it made up for that small irritation. There were VO's but not so much that you got bogged down. Plus you could read the dialog and speed it along if you wanted. I also loved that the female protagonist wasn't a simpering, dumb girl and she was the one that disabled bombs etc. and had the paranormal ability to solve problems and save the day! The game ends with a great cliffhanger that left me groaning when the game ended with our two character in peril! You really want to immediately jump into part 2....but that's another review!!
I don't just recommend this game - I'm going to start playing it again right now!
I recommend this game!

Luckily I got this as a DD so I didn't feel TOO ripped off! It's really unfortunate that it is such a short game because it could have been really great! The first giveway that this was a super short game was during the 1 hr demo - I had only played for about 45 minutes and it shut off and said the demo was over and I should buy it or delete it (I'm paraphrasing!# This was the first time this had happened to me! Then after I purchased the game there was only about another 20 minutes of play...hence the disappointment!
Other than the shortness of the game it was pretty good! You don't have to truck back and forth to the same place or hidden object scene over and over like some other games and the game flowed well. I didn't notice the music #usually turn it way down as most just repeat over and over# and the game did draw you in so you really wanted to rescue the Inventor #Grandfather) and find out where/when he had been. I was hoping that once found, that we could have gone with Emma to wherever wonderful place the Grandfather had been - but no such luck! the game just ended abruptly at that point....bummer!! I must admit though, that all in all the game was very enjoyable and I did really like it and had fun as long as it lasted!

When I first got the demo I thought it would be another match 3 game, but I was so surprised! Yes, it is a match 3, but there are lots of VERY satisfying explosions, power ups and bonuses! At my age, there must be something missing from my life to get so much gratification from the explosions and fast pace of this game! Yes, there is a timer (I don't know whether you can play "relaxed" as I just played the regular "adventure" for the hour demo) but there is plenty of time to beat the clock with all the power-ups and bonus points. All in all I found it to be a very satisfying, fun game that I will now HAVE to purchase!

I was initially pleasantly surprised by this game. The concept of matching different types and colors of flowers was different and could have been fun....BUT! I don't know who wrote the instructions, but English was definitely not their language! During the trial I got to a challenge round where I had limited time and number of moves and I didn't understand the written instructions!! It was kind of frustrating to know that I should not do too many moves (I could understand that much) and not have the instructions to do the task at hand! The game was really nice and it should have been fun and different, but I don't know if it's a "buy" for me based on the 1-hour trial - I don't like to lose the challenges when it's not my fault! Really - do translators cost that much before you put a game on the market??

I can only sum up this game in one word..."nice". The music was "nice", the graphics were kind of stiff and 2-D..."nice", the level of difficulty - there were several levels of game play....relaxed, timed etc., again, "nice". For me there were 2 major irritants - while the flowers were rearranging themselves you couldn't make any other matches....which is annoying when on the timed level. And the object of the game is to match the different colored and varieties of flowers to match 3. Then there are boards where you have to get an object down to the bottom of the board and all the boards have locked cells that you have to unlock by maneuvering the correct flower into it. The background of the board also turns green as you make matches over the cells - however, if you unlock the cells before turning the background all green, the game automatically closes the board and you "win" the level....without turning the background all green! I hate that! It feels like I left something unfinished and should have/could have done better! Hello? OCD anyone? But really, anyone that is a perfectionist will be annoyed!! It is a relaxing "nice" game if it's a daily or weekly deal, or some other special offer, however, I don't think I would spend the full amount for this game, even though it's "nice"!

I really haven't played a paddle ball game recently but of all that I've played this tops them all! What fun! Lots of gratifying explosions and power-ups! The levels aren't impossible to complete and the colors are happy and fun! All in all a wonderful game to play for relaxing after a hard day!
