And that is why I am giving this a 3. I was a bit disappointed. It was extremely short. There were far to many cases of finding the emblem you need in the same room. The story in the main game made very little sense - though I probably wasn't paying enough attention. It would be a good game for beginners, so I will recommend it, though I will not buy another Ms Homes.
How very disappointing. Nothing but one HOG after another with a few puzzles sprinkled in for variety. Not at all what I expected and a complete waste of money. I did find the mathematical puzzles interesting - been many years since I worked with square roots.
All you do is click on one of 9 colored shapes to reveal a picture. Even when adding more pieces, this was a very boring game. No challenge at all. But the jeweled pictures are gorgeous.

In order to see the numbers you have to zoom way in and can only see a small part of the picture. Once you have done that, the squares to paint are so easy to find it is boring. And the finished results poor. Try Art by Numbers instead. Wonderful games.
I don't recommend this game.

The instructions were impossible to follow. Arrows were supposed to show you where to start, but nothing happened when I clicked, no matter what square I picked. Visual looked like a phone screen.

Love it just as I have all the others. I have not completed it yet, so am looking forward to the wonderful things to come. I know the devs have released quite a few more and I wish that Big Fish offered them. I would buy every one.

The sequel to this was just released and I thought I'd check out the original. Sadly, moving the mouse left a long black trail. This happened within the game and on the option screen where I had hoped I could change to the system cursor, but it was not a choice. I have never had this problem before ad have hundreds of BFG games.

This game seems to have been dredged up from a 20th century stock pile of games. Poor instructions. No way to exit w/o using ctl/alt/del. Had to use the arrow keys to color your path.
A shame. Because I thought the concept was clever. I love mazes and related games and thought this would be great since I have a coupon that is nearly expired.
I have been playing Mystery Case File games since Huntsville and this is one of the worst. Just one HOS after another. Very little story apart from some rather vague references to MCF characters. I was very disappointed.

I keep hoping for something different but we all know how these games go. I think this one was easier than the others. I've played them all but do not think they are easier because of experience but because they are less complex. I love the puzzles, but there were hardly any this time and they were extremely easy. I keep saying I won't buy any more penguins. Maybe this time I really mean it.
