I've only played the demo but so far I have enjoyed this Mystery Trackers continuation. It's fun to watch out for the owls and the puzzles are pretty good too. I always enjoy seeing achievement awards as I go. The graphics are done beautifully and the sound effect of thunder storming is great. I think this CE might be worth buying.
I'll have to say that this game is quite different than most HO games! I don't care much for the voice overs but the game itself was fun to play. I liked how they did the HOS's by asking you to find the cylinder shaped objects, numbered objects and so forth instead of just looking for overall hidden items so that was a nice mix up. Even though I have only played the demo which I believe was around 45 minutes long, it appears the CE might be worth the money.
This was an interesting game to play and sometimes nice to have a change in how the HO's are found and placed, like into groups of circles in this case. It was similar to the "portal series" games in that respect. I wouldn't want to play all HOG's that way though. The graphics were pretty good but not as outstanding as some I've seen. The background music was pleasant and sound effects pretty good too. I wouldn't necessarily buy the CE of this game but might consider the SE.
Overall it was an ok game with a somewhat interesting storyline but I have to agree with other reviews in that the "cut away" scenes were a little cheesy. The background music was nice and calming and generally, the graphics were pretty good. It's always an extra to be on the lookout for a particular object, in this case, finding the cats. I probably wouldn't buy the CE but might eventually consider the SE version. The game offered casual, advanced and hard so I guess since I typically play advanced or expert, I should have done hard on this one as it was not too challenging on advanced.
This game has good graphics, voice overs and overall is interesting to play. It's always an added plus to receive "accomplishment awards" and to also look for a particular item throughout the game like postcards in this case. Puzzles aren't too difficult to do. I also enjoyed how you receive a "special talent" from each person you help so you find yourself looking forward to seeing what the next one you encounter will have.
This is a well done game that includes everything to keep you engaged. The graphics are great along with the sound effects and visuals of real people throughout. I always like it when you get the achievement awards for not skipping puzzles and not using hints, etc. It's always nice with a little added fun feature of looking for a particular item in every scene ,like a red flower, in this case which gives you access to a bonus. This has a good balance of HO scenes, mini game puzzles and adventure. Looks like this would be a CE worth buying!
I've always enjoyed all of the Midnight Mysteries games and I was pleased with this one as well. It may not be the greatest of games I've played but it is very well done with the graphics and little "surprises" here and there. I like that you can collect hints by collecting the ravens and that you also have to look for clovers to unlock another HO section. It's easy enough to play even on advanced.
I was not disappointed with this game.......good graphics, sound, storyline, etc. There is a good balance of gaming in this one, not too many HO scenes, variety of things to do and both easy and challenging puzzles. The demo went by really fast because I was getting into the game so that's always a good sign of a great game. This will have to be a "must buy" on my list.
There were just enough quirky little graphics in the demo at least (which is all I got to play) that the game seemed cute and fun to play. I thought the music and voice overs where pretty decent as well. Storyline seems interesting enough to make you want to keep playing to see where this goes. With so many CE's coming out one after another, unfortunately I can't buy them all so with this one and others, I'll have to wait until the SE's come out and just hope they're good enough. There seems to be a good balance of HOS to adventure and searching around different places. Thumbs up on this one for me!
I always play in "expert" mode and this game was not too difficult at all but just challenging enough. The graphics were outstanding and the sound was phenomenal! It almost sounded as if it was "surround sound" which is always a big plus to give that full effect of gaming. The storyline was pretty interesting with a couple being shipwrecked and the girl is in search of her mate. I only played the trial so it will be interesting to see how this all plays out. It's got plenty of HO scenes and things to figure out what and how to do. The one puzzle offered during the trial time was not too hard but just challenging enough.
