I have played games from this company before and have enjoyed them. This was no different. Nice simple story line that keeps moving and doesn't dwell in one place finding objects that have no bearing on the story line. The graphics are good and are not dark and sinister as some game makers seem to think that is what we want. Not me, I would rather have bright and distinct so I can actually find the hidden objects. The only real complaint I might have is when talking to someone, there responses are too long and maybe a little youngish. Other than that, i enjoyed this game. I would recommend this for those who don't like the dark scenes in other games and want flowing stories. Demo ended too soon.

I downloaded this because-A:) it looked fairly challenging, B:) it was a supposed strategy game and- C:) the characters looked interesting. I like most strategy games if they are well executed. This one wasn't. After six minutes of endless dialog, and I do mean endless, I gave up. No real instructions, animation was very amateurish, music was annoying. I haven't played a game with this type of animation since the early days of games. I cannot see how anyone would give this 5 stars. Must have a lot more patience than me. If you like this game then good luck but it isn't my cup of tea.
I am usually not a fan of match 3 type of games but this one has captured me. The graphics are terrific and are something that should be in the so called collectors editions of other games. Game play is fun and challenging at the same time. What I really like is the diversity of the game. There are 2 other game modes other than the usual match 3. There is a group mode and a string mode. I play them all just for the change. Plus there is a cute little mini game. 5 snails race and you pick one and place a bet. If yours wins you get the money, simple as that. Those little suckers are tricky though. The one that looks like the loser will, suddenly, put on a burst of speed and win. Fun game. I highly recommend this game even if you don't like match 3 games. You might be surprised.
That is my biggest complaint with this game. when you are talking to someone, (which is way too frequent) there is a split screen which adds nothing to the game or the story. Maybe the writers thought it would add a dramatic element but all it does is clutter the screen. The story line is week at best and you can easily suddenly sit back and say "huh?" Graphics are amateurish and the people walking are way to stiff, almost like stop action. Also, there are too many cinematics which slow game play and, again, add nothing. I didn't find anything redeeming with this game and wouldn't recommend it.
This is one of those games that you aren't sure about. It falls into the average category. Storyline was ok, sheriff and deputy going after the bad guy, but those 2 talking back and forth between games was a little annoying. Music was not the greatest and, I guess, what they thought as western but could have been left out. The match 3 part of the game was a little challenging in that you had to do it in so many moves but that really didn't come into play I found out. May later in the game as the levels get harder but not in the demo. Overall, if you like match 3 with some HO thrown in to break up the monotony, then this game is for you.
I looked at the preview of this game and, despite the 20 1 star reviews, thought it might be a fun game. As soon as I got into it I knew that was wrong. Frustrating is a better word. Not much of a story and certainly not anything new. The graphics were comic at best and the story line was sort of lame. I got to one point in the game where I had to get something from the kitchen but I couldn't find the kitchen. This is not my cup of tea even though HO games are some of my favorites if done right. Don't waste your money.
Imagine a sunny day at a cozy Parisian cafe. People are walking around, drinking coffee and laughing. Suddenly a bright flash wipes out all life on Earth!
I started playing this just out of curiosity. I must say that there is no story line whatsoever other than you keep meeting famous people from the past and you have to find things for them. What they do with these things is beyond me and it's the same thing over and over. Graphics are amateurish at best as is the music. There is no real challenge other than the objects you are looking for are not well defined and you really have to strain to find them or use up your limited hints of which you start with 5 and I don't know if they replenish. I wouldn't bother with this game unless you want to play the demo just to see what it is like.
Thoroughly enjoyed playing the demo. The game graphics are really good for a match 3 and game play is easy once you understand what must be done which takes all of maybe 2-3 rounds. After that it is just fun. The cannon fire at the spiders is fairly easy but I suspect that will change as the game progresses. Bring it on!! I like the different challenges and you aren't doing the same thing round after round. There's the match same level along with the food chain level which is a little more difficult but not to the point of frustrating. Highly recommend to anyone who likes match 3 with a small twist. Well, back to the game.
I have Patchworks: Frozen and Alice and enjoy playing both so when I saw this one I thought they had another winner. Not so much. The graphics aren't up to par with the others and the music is kind of annoying. I know, I can turn it down or off but I never think of that when I get into the game. Another reviewer mentioned they finally have times that are realistic and I agree, they are very beatable and I have been. My biggest complaint is just the overall quality of this one is not its biggest selling point. I hesitate to recommend this one but, if you like these mosaics as I do, you may enjoy it. Have fun!
I'm a jigsaw puzzle nut. I love all types as long as they don't involve some quirky things like rotating pieces. They relax me. I bought this one because of previous experience with "Frozen" which I have played numerous times and i know the company. I like the graphics on this and the music but there is one thing I hate. The "beat this time" is so short that it is impossible to beat on most of the puzzles. Some of the times are ridiculously short. Don't get me wrong, that does not make it a no buy, matter of fact, if you like puzzles, you'll love this and should buy it. I think, with time , I will be able to beat more but, for now, I'll just enjoy playing as I know you will.
