In this ghostly continuation of the Fear for Sale series, you've discovered a luxury ocean liner bears an eerie resemblance to a ship that vanished years ago.
Emma Roberts is at it again. Boards a ship connected with one from the 30s and has to solve a major crime as well as get a story for her publishing company. Graphics are better than average and are bright and not dark at all. Characters are pretty close to lifelike and are believable in their roles. Captains voice needs a little work though but that's minor. HO's and puzzles/mini games are fun and with just enough challenge to keep you alert and help the story progress without making you jump back and forth for no purpose. Finished the demo with sadness because I want to see what happens next. Probably buy this one while it's on sale. I highly recommend this one but play the demo first just to make sure it's your cup of tea. I know it is mine. Have fun!
When I start playing a game and the opening cutscene is barely watchable then I know something is wrong and I was right. The first item I received was a seam ripper which makes you wonder and it was forever before I used that and then not for what it is designed to do. This game went nowhere fast. There is no rhyme or reason why you do anything, it is all find 'this' to open 'this' to get 'this' to open 'this' and on and on ad infinitum. I was bored to death but I kept playing hoping the game would, somehow, improve. It didn't. Graphics are poor at best and the characters are annoying and could have been left out. I could go on and on about this game but I I'm not. Unlike some reviewers, I don't care to write a lengthy review recapping the whole game, I would rather the people play it for themselves and discover what I did. There are walkthroughs in the forums. The HO's and mini games were typical for this type game and nothing special. Just average and boring. I don't recommend this one and scratching my head at the 5 star ratings. It just isn't there. Play the demo and decide for yourself. Have fun!
I don't recommend this game.

Penguin Rescue
Aurora, the summer holiday of the penguins has arrived! But the ice has suddenly started to melt. Can you help save this snowy place?
I've said this before and I'll probably say it again, I am not a match 3 fan but I will play them from time to time looking for that one that is worth buying. Unfortunately, this wasn't the one this time. I have other games by this developer, 8 Floor Games, and they are fun but not this time. Graphics and action are decent but this one gets boring fast. Typical match 3. The thing I detest about all the match 3's coming out now is the fact there are a certain number of moves you have to finish the level. If you don't do it then you have to buy extra moves and if it is a particularly difficult level you could, theoretically, use up all your 'money'. And then where would you be. Developers should just make the play a lot more interesting and do away with the move limits. No advantage with limits. I don't recommend this for me but I do for match 3 lovers. Play the demo and decide. Have fun!
It's been a long time since I've played a HO game as mindless as this one. The opening scene was horribly done and led nowhere. This one just jumps back and forth between years with no story progression anywhere. The characters are some of the worst drawn I've encountered in a while and the voices are a joke. The graphics are my least favorite-dark- and not well drawn and the music should be on some kids show. The games are tedious and boring and add nothing to the game. If you like ridiculous HO games then this is for you. I don't recommend it but play the demo and decide yourself. Have fun!
This is one I have mixed feelings on. Although it is quite amateurish I did find it fun to play. Challenging to play? No just fun. Graphics, although average, were fairly bright and added an air of joy to the game. I hate dark games. The characters are a little unbelievable though. In the first scene our heroin is at home, there is a shaking and a vision appears before her asking for help. Her thoughts are on the line of this would be a good story for my paper. Not "What or who was that?" but I need to write a story. The HO's and puzzles/mini games are on the easy side and could have added a little more with a bit more thought. Overall, this wasn't a bad game but not one I would pay collectors edition price for. SE price, maybe but they don't have one I would recommend this but only after you play the demo and decide for yourself. Have fun.
This has to be one of the worst games I have played in a while. Story is weak at best and doesn't really go anywhere. Graphics are horrible. Dark and poorly rendered and very grainy and incoherent. The characters appear to be out of some kid of horror movie and the voices are worse. This is one of those games were you wonder where the 5 stars come from. Oh well, everyone to their own tastes. I don't recommend this one at all but play the demo and decide for yourself. Have Fun!
Since his departure from Olympus, Angelo has overcome many trials and enemies. However, he is about to face his greatest challenge yet, as threats assault the kingdom of Greece from all sides.
I am not a big fan of match 3 games because they are all the same. Match 3 whatevers and complete the level or stage or whatever they call it and collect what...???? However, I do keep playing the demos because about twice a year an awesome match 3 emerges that I have to have. Some of my go to games are match 3. Graphics are nice and colors are bright and cheery but the characters are a little overdrawn. I don't think ancient Greeks looked like that, even the gods. Don't get me wrong, some of them are nice to look at. I played this one in relaxed mode and found I was glad I did because some of these stages took forever to finish. The items just wouldn't fall in the correct place. Glad there were some power ups because when I start to get bored I need something to help me along. Music was confusing. Sounded very similar to one of my other games and it is Celtic. Confusing but nice. I don't recommend this one just because, as I said before, I'm not a match 3 fan but this might be perfect for the fans. At least try the demo before you decide. Have Fun!
I've played this twice and each time I have mixed feelings. Starts out nice with a good premise but then it falls into the typical HO games put out these days. And, of course, you have to play as a female again. Why can't they give us a choice? HO's and mini games are interesting and fun and have just the right amount of challenge to keep your mind awake. Fairly fast paced game that moves along nicely although confusing at times and takes some unexpected turns. Characters are a little cartoonish and seem to be overly excited about this lizard running amuck. Even the healer was astonished when you come up with all the ingredients for her potion and was skeptical that it would even work. Come on, she's a healer and should have researched a little more. Oh well. Graphics and scenery are nice to look at and even the dark areas aren't bad. All in all this was a game worth playing the demo but I don't know if I would buy it because you already know how it will end generally and there is no excitement in that. I recommend it, again, with reservations. Play the demo and decide for yourself. Have fun!
I have other Reflections games and they are fun and challenging to play. This one, on the other hand, is just challenging. You keep running back and forth playing HO's and mini games just to get some artifact or key to open something 2 scenes back to get something else to carry forward 3 scenes to do something else and on and on and on. This is not what I like in my HO games. I like minimal games that actually help me progress in the story. And If I see one more story where I (male) have to play a female, and rescue my relative or humankind or the world I am going to scream!! Isn't there any other scenario they can come up with. Heck, even one where I fly to a distant planet and help rescue them would be nice. Graphics are ok on this one-not great but not bad either and the characters at least fit the part they play and don't have comical movements, costumes or voices. Music, on the other hand, is a little on the kiddish side. I hope the developers can, somehow, be made aware of these reviews and take a hint. We are intelligent and we want something to match that. Would I recommend this game? For me. no for others, maybe. Play the demo and decide for yourself. Have fun! \
Now, this is my kind of game. Just the right amount of intrigue and suspense to keep you interested. Never saw a bored moment in the whole demo. The cutscenes and puzzles just added to the overall satisfaction and the HO's were clever and not over done. The graphics were a little grainy but that didn't take away from the game. Right amount of light and dark and, again, at the right places. This is a definite buy for me and I will look into other games from this developer. I recommend this one.
