I've played many of the MCF games and most are worth buying but this is in the 'don't bother' category. Seems all you do is flit around getting things to open other things and never really progressing in the game. HO's and mini games have no real challenge a left me with the HO HUM's. I don't recommend this one and I sure wouldn't waste money on it.
I'm not going into a multi level description of this game. All the 5 stars have already done that. I started this one and enjoyed it...for a while. I began to notice the darkness didn't go away even outside. I hate dark games. Play was ok and moved along quite well and the HO's were challenging and kept me interested. That is where the pros generally end. If this game had some brightness and color it would be a keeper but because of that one dark factor, I don't recommend this one.
This is one of those games that seems to start just fine but then the tedium sets in. You play as two people and that is where the fun ends. Switching between the two you also wear yourself out running back and forth retrieving articles to get other articles and on and on. Graphics are nice and the characters are well drawn and enjoyable and the story moves along although slowly. HO's and mini games are fun and challenging and a joy to play but that is where the pros of this game end. I kinda sorta recommend this game and I may put in my stable but I'm on the fence. Play the demo and don't go just by reviews.
They have finally come up with a game that is worth playing. This developer, five BN games, has put some effort into developing this one and they have succeeded. I enjoyed the demo and this will go into my collection. Graphics are very detailed and well drawn and the characters are up to the task of bringing the story along. I enjoyed the HOs and mini games and the just right challenge they brought into the game. Story line was easy to follow and didn't jump all over the place with no end in sight. At least we know this will end on a happy note. Based on the demo, I highly recommend this game and will add it to my collection.
I enjoyed the demo but haven't quite decided if this is a keeper or not. Story line is average and nothing really new but was still fun to play it through. HOs and mini games were average and fairly easy but not to the point of tedium. Graphics were good EXCEPT for the characters, they were creepy and not well drawn. They were more of the comic variety and seemed to be for comic relief only. I recommend this with reservations and will only buy it using credits and not real money. Play the demo and have fun.
I read the 5 star ratings on this one and I thought this might be an interesting and fun game. Boy was that thought wrong. All the ratings raved about the graphics and the detail but I found this to be way below average in the graphics department. The characters were almost cartoonish at best and the overall scenery was not up to par. Colors are not vibrant and the only thing I found enjoyable graphics wise were the birds. They were at least well drawn. HOs and mini games were ok but nothing to write home about and left me yawning. Story line is weak and very predictable and really doesn't excite me nor does it leave one breathless. It's just boring. And all this from just 60 minutes of the demo. Sure wouldn't want to waste any credits on this one. Play the demo and decide for yourself but I don't recommend this game at all.
This is one of the worst match 3 games I have tried to play in a long time. Almost impossible to beat this and there is no help or tutorial at all. Very frustrating and I don't understand any rating over 2 stars. This is a definite leave alone game. No recommendation here.
I have played just about all the Cadenza series and this one falls in the middle as far as interesting gameplay goes. Not a big challenge but not a total waste either. The HOs and the mini games are all on the fun side and some were actually so easy they made me wonder. The story line is believable and the characters enhance the overall excitement of the story. If you make a contract, be prepared to honor it or accept the consequences. Colors are nice and bright, which I like in a game, and there isn't the constant back and forth for no reason. In this game you uncover something and almost immediately use it to progress the game. Played the full demo and this will probably be added to my collection. I recommend this one.
Soon as I got into this one I knew what they were copying. This game is a reverse of the original Jumanji and I liked the story line. Instead of things coming out of the game the characters are transported into the game and must defeat the evil scientist to get out. Characters are well drawn and are completely believable in their roles and are not cartoonish as is the case in so many games. I like the HOs and mini games because of the challenge and variety. The only down side is the business of the scenery and the fact you have to jump all over to get anywhere but neither of these dampened the fun. I recommend this one and it will be in my game vault.
This is one of those just ok games. Nice story line but it isn't coherent and tends to wander. The HOs are not much of a challenge and the mini games are rather easy. Played all but 5 minutes of the demo and I remain on the fence for this one. I don't recommend it for myself but others might like it so play the demo and decide for yourself.
