Fae has many good elements such as the spell building, healing during battle but directions and understanding how to get the best effects are mysteriously garbled even in the help panels. The speed of battle is also a possible problem as there's no time to plan or get the elements needed at a particular moment. All this notwithstanding, the game somehow draws you in and you want to try just one more replay battle. A good take on mach 3 but too coplicated for it's own good. Try it and see if it puzzles you too.
If you enjoy match 3 games and Gardenscape types, this one will be a nice surprise. Good clear graphics, pleasant music and clear fonts. The TM garden building interludes could've been super but the instructions were confusing and the cash and flower requirements made it quite frustrating. Also you can't replaythese TM sections but have to go forward to even more frustrating oes. But aside from that, it's a winner. Worth a try and maybe a buy.
If you've got good mouse control and enjoy perfectly silly story lines, this is for you! Munching and growing you move your way through a delightfully zany planet dodging larger and and eating smaller objects/animals/people as you go. No serious concepts or high ideals, just lotsa fun!
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
The game's atmosphere, sounds and visuals are as eerie as any devotee of Ravenhearst could want. The changes the developers have made may however cause some alarm. But the new morph method of searching is certainly novel as is the wordless pictorial strategy guide. But somehow this weird system suits the atmosphere of the game very well. I hope though that this isn't going to be used widely as it does have its problems. Some morephs are hard to see and dark scenes make it even more challenging. But the games is definitely worth trying and beware, you may be hooked and having to buy it to find out what happens next!
