The first game, GardenScape was fun if you enjoy changing the game world piece by piece. That one was good, this one's better! Having upgraded the sounds, graphics and interface the only downer for me was so little money for so many, many items! Would've liked to be able to buy more stuff sooner. But that's a minor quibble as the rest of the game is great. The graphics are much clearer and the expressive faces of buyers just add to the fun. Give it a try, it's certainly worth a look, and a buy!
I recommend this game!

My first impression was of a faintly pointless loosely joined story with quite illogical goals but played for awhile and discovered a gem of a game! There's mystery behind the seeming madness and the odd HO scenes are wonderfuly quirky. The hints in your journal and the hint button make for very low frustration levels and the voiceover is very appropriate. My only downer is the "auction" but that's mainly due to my visual problem #symbols move too quickly# and since it's not required to finish the gameyou can skip the higher levels.. Still it adds yet another layer to a creative and entertaining game. Worth trying and buying!
I recommend this game!

This looked like a fun puzzler and has bright colors, pleasant music and cute graphics. So why the low ratings? Because the instructions aren't spoken or witten in words, but in a kind of pictograph language which I just can make sense of. Ten minutes of fruitless clicking, draging and returning to the instruction page were enough to covince me that the devs should've gotten a competent translator and written the directions in plain English (with perhaps other languages as options). I'm sure this is a fun game but unless BF can translate the instructions, this is a no-buy for me. But give it a try if you're not easily frustrated. And if anybody out there can interpret the hieroglyphics, please posit it in a forum or somewhere. I hesitantly recommend this game due to frustration danger.
I recommend this game!

The idea of the game fascinated me and I thout it'd be a fun twist on match 3 which I tend to like. But the timer was way too fast for the difficulty in seeing the creatures against the background (no grid, just undulating rows). So progress was slow and even with the ability to add creatures to the field the game didn't have enough fun factor to keep interest high. I hope an improved version with lots more bells whistles and clearer graphics shows up as I'd gladly buy it. But this one just doesn't have enough fun in it.
I don't recommend this game.

The story was interesting as were the HO scenes and, mixed with solitaire it could've been a great game. So what happened? Wel, for starters the font on the cards was elaborate and hard to read (eight looked a lot like 3 for instance#. The story was too short and ended too quickly leaving you wanting more. Solitaire variations would've been nice, too as there are really only 2 game types, ,matching and fairway (where you choose higher or lower cards). The fortune telling was just silly and could've been left out and more card games put in. But it is worth a look and may appeal to folks needing a short, minimumly challenging game. So I recommend a try. Who knows it may suit you very well.
I recommend this game!

History and nystery mix well in this spooky story. There are ghosts aplenty, spirits to appease and a queen to rescue. The graphics are crisp clear and colorful and hidden items are quite clear. The puzzles are new twists on tried and true themes but are well done with good directions and can be skipped. So why not perfect? Well, despite the map it's often difficult to know what to do or where to go next and the hints are vague at best. But if you're patient and persistant, the sequence can be figured out-usually. But overall, an excellent game worth a try. If you get immersed in the story as I did, you'll stay to play. Hauntingly good fun. Try it.
I recommend this game!

The game is a treat for the eyes, ears and mind. Playing the first game isn't at all necessary as it's summarized in this one. The graphics are clear, colorful and bright enough to see without enhancing the images. Oughta be in any HOG but not always there. The music is suitably calming spooky and light where appropriate and without voice-overs, can be muted if desired without loss. The story while not exactly Shakespear is appropriate for today's HO's and often suspenseful if not always logical. (Why ruin a good HO with logic?) The 4 stars, however were due to the somewhat cryptic hints given. Lines, sparkles and arrows are all used and it may take a bit to figure out the help you're getting. Some highly advanced HOG masters may find it too simple, but for beginner thru expert, thre's plenty to like. Puzzles are clear, explained and skippable. Overall, a good play and worth having.
I recommend this game!

Seldom does a game with a historic base so deeply immerse you in the era of the story. The runes to power hints, Merlin's slow put very clear naaration, the Medieval style music and graphics all bring the tale to life. The "good" rating for graphics is due to the smallness of some of the items and that some are very similar. The hint system is unique and the basic hints don't require much rune hunting at all. Only downer is that you have to use the special hints wisely because once they're gone, you can't fill them again in that scene. But in all else the game is excellent for its type. Give it a try ye knights and ladies and you may be well rewarded by an excellent game!

for folk who love the Pickers show this is the game for you, well, sorta. The dialogue and music fit well, wordy but picks up atmosphere of the show veery well. The oject scenes are colorful, but some stuff very small and hard to identify if you've never hear of it. But the real downer for me was the secret object scene after a sucessful pick. I couldn't get a response even when the meter showed the object was correct. My mouse? Don't think so. And this scene is mandatory, can"t be skipped far as I could see. But if you can master the mechanics of it, and you love the show, this game might be a great deal!
I recommend this game!

This is a deceptively simplistic ,match 3 because it's much more It's also a strategic puzzler of a fighting game. You've gotta plan your matches to maximize spell power, harm the opponents and gain healing 'cause those enemy spells really do damage as the game progresses. So why the 4 in graphics quality? The jewels to match are very pale and soetimes difficult to see especially on lighter backgrounds. But that's a very small quibble in a super game. Try it and you may not be able to stop 'til you've won!
I recommend this game!
