This is another "manor" game, but it has quite a few differences from the ones with the man and his dog. Instead of 3 choices of furniture, plants, etc. after you have earned your money, you get 5. There is a cat instead of a dog. #Others but I don't want to give it all away.# It is not a brain strainer but quite enjoyable and fairly long. Same music and some of the same rooms, but different format and ......not gonna tell. The demo is easy, but it does get a bit harder as you go. Give it a try. I bought it and played all of it with no glitches #W7 PC#
I recommend this game!

This game has 201 levels, a variety of puzzles and really is a good game, gathering money to improve the village. Level 201 is ALL puzzles and you cannot skip them to proceed to the very last game. It took me 2 hours to get them all, but I DID IT! It has been worth every penny (or in my case a credit) that I spent.
I recommend this game!

This game was enjoyable, easy to follow, kept you wanting to play until the end without stopping and generally, one of the best I have played in a LONG time. Well worth the $$$ and this is one that I WILL play again. Did not miss collecting items, animal helpers, blood and guts, vampires, etc. There are several moments that will startle you a bit (won't tell where in the game). Great game.
I recommend this game!

Liked the game a lot and played quite a while. BUT the bonus was good play but ended abruptly. The "situation" was solved by the character, but the story ended right then and there. She didn't go home to her son, get in her car and leave, just blank black screen. Bummer. I like closure. Liked the story, liked the artwork, and the music wasn't irritating. One thing that I #and some others I have talked to# would like is to kill off the wallpaper, music, etc. extras and just beef up the bonus play. How many people use the music or wallpapers?
I recommend this game!

I realize "young" eyes might spot the HOS items easier, but I really liked this game. You have nativity items to hunt, presents to hunt, and hidden objects to find. Some are very small and blend in nicely with the background. But I did find that after my eyes became accustomed to the artwork, it became easier (down to the last item to find). The puzzles are easy and I guess some might find this game juvenile, but it is a nice holiday game and I think an improvement on the previous ones. It DOES take about 4 or 5 levels before you get hooked (and you can replay each scene if you miss something). All in all, the elephants did a good job with this game. Not a lot of traveling back and forth, not a lot of brain strain, but a nice relaxing game for the holidays.
I recommend this game!

This was NOT what I expected. It is fun, choice of modes (relaxed or timed), able to decorate for Halloween and very relaxing. I do like the games with a real story but I find after I play them once or twice, I know what to do and what to expect. This game will be played FOREVER because once you get used to the power ups and purchase choices, you can go to timed and play some more. I bought it after only 10 minutes of trial. BUT, beware, it does get harder with higher levels but that makes it all the more fun. It has really pretty(?) Halloween wallpapers as well. A really nice game and well worth the money. enjoy!!!!!
I recommend this game!

Besides a shakey, jerky custom cursor, there is NO instruction on how to feed people, etc. The main negative for me was moving the screen around with the cursor. It was kind of nauseating and made me dizzy. I played 6 minutes of the demo and it did not "grab" me. I'm sure there are others that will enjoy it, but it was just not my type of game and gave me a headache.
I don't recommend this game.

Yes , you can play it "casual" but it is far less interesting and I played the demo in both modes. It is okay but you do get tired or bored with building, painting, repair, update for the whole game. I am sure the "mystery" would get more interesting after the demo, but this is a no buy for me.
I don't recommend this game.

Yes, it is hokey, and did seem a bit short, but sometimes you don't want to save the brother, son, sister, mother, father or professor and fight vampires, witches, etc. It leaves you feeling really good and after the week I have had, I needed that. I bought it and while you THINK you know the ending, it is a surprise (and I will leave it that way). If you liked the previous ones, you will like this one.
I recommend this game!

At first it seems to be an easy game.....keep playing. It DOES get harder. I really did not think I would like it, but I do. It is a fun game and the commentator sounds like the real deal. The graphics are cute and the music can be muted. The only deal that bothers me is that it is NOT full screen and in the options, there is no way to make it full screen. At first this bothered me, but as you play it, the small screen isn't so bad. I would use a credit or a freebie for it. It seems like it is a good game to relax to. The gopher is cute and I like him too.
I recommend this game!
