Yesterday, I got this game to beta test...and today it is released? What was the point? Clearly they were not trying to elicit feed back...possibly looking for rave reviews that could be used on the site? But, I will tell you what I told the devs....I liked it, with some reservations. The extras are very nice and there are a lot of them. The graphics are beautiful, some ambient sounds and VOs good, and the game play flows smoothly along. It's just that some things really bugged me...I thought some of the story was really silly; some of it was window dressing to stretch out the game. (Why does the guy tell us to meet him in the cemetery, then plant a big green monster in our path?) I also failed to understand the green jug of chemicals, as it never seemed to do the same thing twice...what the? Parts of the background noise I found especially irksome. Every time you run you cursor over a door, it makes a loud opening and closing sound. Some of the mini-games also have really irritating sounds (the oven, in particular). I liked the switch to jigsaw option, but the M3 game was horrible...really slow. Overall, I would recommend this game just for the extras, but I can't see it making a good SE. 3.5 stars

I really loved this game! There are so many extras to find, I sort of lost track of them...prints, art, fruit..not sure I even got them all....love that! Also, lots of achievements and the bonus material looks interesting...there is a section labelled puzzles, so that could be fun. The graphics are very nice and the creepy music is just right, although it needs turning down just a bit. There a lots of HOs which have slight interactivity and the puzzles are quite fun, with some new ones so far. There is a tool for catching ghosts which I got a kick out of, as well. There seem to be 5 characters to save, and in the demo you save one of them, so this game should be a reasonable length. It seems like a good old HO game, so some people will probably feel it has too many HOs and not enough story, but it just appealed to me, and with the weekend sale, I think it is definitely worth it!

Sheesh!! Who wrote the tripey story??..."flushed delusions"?? Blech.. This is really not a solitaire game but a matching game which I guess can be entertaining, if you like that sort of monotony. The bonus rounds are slightly more fun but still not enough to merit forking out any kind of cash. I was only looking at this game because it's the daily deal, and now I can see why. Don't think so!
You came to the town of Brownville, Louisiana hoping to find a new job. But you weren't expecting to stumble upon a strange adventure in a world filled with beauty and danger!

Wow...the graphics are so beautiful in this game, I could just sit and look at the overall picture in each scene! The action screens are like watching a movie. Also, I love the premise, as it is different and so creative! There are interactive parts to the HOs and the mini puzzles are charming. There is a jumping map that lets you know where the action is and you have a helper in the form of a mutated rabbit/kangaroo/monkey thing with very bad teeth....quite ugly actually...but I get tired of cute. The game flows nicely along as you try to catch up with your friends who are also trapped in a very weird magic card game. I found the play enticing and am eager to carry on to the volcano! There are 30 puzzle pieces to find and as I only played the demo, I am just assuming that they will be useful at the end. Overall...really good!

I really like the premise but this is a VERY short game. I went through about 5 of the paintings during the demo. The artwork is beautiful, there are no voice overs (which for me is a plus) and the dialogue moves quickly. There is no interaction in the HOs but the scenes are lovely...however, towards the end of the demo I came to several HO scenes which did not have the English word for the item, so you have to click around a lot to find things. (For instance a "Wap" turns out to be an 8 ball) The map is of no use at all and the hint button is directional only. The few puzzles I came across were very simple. This game is for people who like the artwork and possibly the storyline.

First...It's never a good sign when you have to try to figure out someone else's logic...'nuff said there. This game has several different types of mahjong, but all the ones I played were tedious beyond belief! In the solitaire level the cards can only go in descending order (or maybe it was ascending...after a bit, my eyes glazed over and I stared thinking of other things...should I wash the car? what's for dinner?) You always have to end with a shuffle...I hate that kind of mahjong. Also, the tiles are little and you can't tell what some of them are. All in all, I'd rather balance my checkbook than play this tiresome game! Pass...

Absolutely the worst game I have ever played. I tried to stick with it to see if it improved but alas..after 30 minutes I just couldn't take it any more. The graphics are very amateurish (if that's a word) and the plot is really thin; amnesia...give me a break! The HOs had just about the tiniest items I have ever seen; in one scenario you need to find 15 teeny tiny fuses. I mean, 5 maybe ok, but 15...jeez. Some items in the HO scenes are only faintly drawn in, just a mere shadow. The 2 puzzles that I encountered were so simple it made me wonder what the point was. I think this must be either an old entry or one on a very limited budget. A total miss!!

This has to be the best game to come along in a while! What fun! The story is creepy and spell binding, the evil crooked man terrifying, and his horrible cat the perfect minion! I love the gorgeous graphics and the ambient sounds are just right. The game play is really, really good...not very many HOs but there are a lot of puzzles and they are so charming that I would really like to just do them over again! The map is useful, as it shows areas of interest plus is transportable, and there seems to be a lot of areas to explore (only played the demo, so far). There are morphing objects to find and the usual CE extras, by the looks of it. The story is really the best part of it, though...can't wait to get back to it!! You gotta try it...

Only so-so, in my opinion. The premise is sort of interesting, but the game play is slow and plodding. You are chasing around a scientist turned monster, which by the way is not too surprising since all the radioactive stuff seems to be collected with your bare hands. The HO scenes are not interactive and after you have found the salient items it will give you a skip option for the rest of the items on the list, and in the demo there are only the 'list' type of HOs. The puzzles are simple in the extreme. The hint tells you exactly what to do, and will even take you there...quite a lot of hand holding, although I chose normal mode, so maybe in the more difficult modes it will not do this. The is a jumping map which has a lot of locations on it, so it could be a fairly long game. The best thing I can say about it is that this might be a good game for those starting out in the HO genre. As always, give it a try....

Not a good Mahjong game....sorry. I tried to play the demo but couldn't hang in there till the end. The game screen is either stretched wide and out of shape or small with no blocking of the sides (if you unclick full screen), so you can still see your home page around the edges. The game cursor, which you cannot disable, is an enormous green hand, which takes up a whole tile and is difficult to control. The backgrounds are cute and you can change the tile setups, but the game play is boringly straightforward...no bonuses or power ups. Yuck to the whole thing!
