Toy Defense was one of the best tower defense games I had ever played, and now it's got a rightly deserved sequel. It's pretty much the same game, but it feels a bit more smoothed out overall. There are varied maps and upgrades which offer enough diversity from the original to be worth it. The only thing that could make this game better is if it had a custom cursor. If you're a tower defense fan you will love this game. Highly recommended.
I recommend this game!

This is one of BFG's gems, but it's definitely an unlikely one. Back in 2007 an obscure, celebrity-voiced PC game was released by a non-profit children's medical organization called Starlight Children's Foundation. An all star cast of well known celebrities donated their voices to the project as a means of fundraising.
What came about was a hilarious bad, (so bad that it's good) family oriented PC game that probably went unappreciated and unacknowledged by many. The graphics are definitely not great by today's standards or for the time it was released, but that's not important. The game shines in its gameplay, voice acting, and visual style. It's campy and intentionally bad in dialogue, as the pacing and editing of the game would suggest. I am sure there are many who would become easily irritated by the repetitive sound effects, but the cut-scene style story segments are pure gold. On top of this, the actual gameplay is incredibly solid and actually FUN. It's truly a family game, as the difficulty is pretty easy, and its content is geared towards children for the most part. Overall, this is definitely worth a game credit if you are a fan of platform games and you have a child in the house.
I recommend this game!

This is a very stripped down take off of games such as T.I.M. and Cut The Rope. Very clunky controls mixed with compatibility issues (full screen would not work) had me thumbing down this game from the start. The art style is cute and appealing but the resolution is poor. Every single level seems to be the same thing repeated at a slightly increasing difficulty. If you love these kind of puzzle games you might be able to forgive these flaws especially since there are over 100 levels, which is quite respectable. Overall, I wanted to like this game but it is such a let down on too many fronts. Seems unfinished.
I don't recommend this game.

No real story at all, and it doesn't need it, so let's get that bit out of the way first.
This game is one of the greatest free-for-all builders that BFG has to offer. Along with World of Zellians, this gem allows nearly unmatched customization and replayability as far as strategy/building games are concerned. You can choose many different paths when you go about building your parks. There are 4 different locations which really make this game what it is. Without the changes of scenery there would be little to explore or do in this game. Four distinct locations and between 50 and 100 upgrades/buildings make this a serious contender for the best city building game on BFG. Definitely worth a game credit.
I recommend this game!

What the heck BFG?
This game could have been amazing but there are so many flaws that make it almost unplayable and impossible to enjoy. The sounds, artwork, and animations are amazing. It even supports full 1080p video. Sadly, the music is incredibly repetitive so I turned it off. Besides this the game does have instructions although you have to seek them out, there is no auto-loading tutorial. The voice acting is also great, but this isn't enough to save the game. The difficulty is just ridiculous! There should be selectable difficulty level or their should have been a whole lot more levels, because I only made it to level 3 before I gave up. I usually love tower defense games but this one is too unforgiving. I understood how to play and was able to make the game work but it was just too stressful and not rewarding enough. This one could have been a purchase but it's just too dang hard.
I don't recommend this game.

This started out as a mobile game, so it was interesting to see it available on BFG PC downloads. The port is decent, but the fact that you can't turn off the music is unacceptable. The sounds a nice but the music isn't so great, so this is why I have an issue with the fact that it can't be turned off. Besides this, the gameplay is quite solid, the graphics are top notch, and the number of levels is decent. I personally found the action a bit repetitive, since you are basically doing the same thing each level, within an increasing difficult setting. Those who like strategy games and puzzle games would love this one. Zombie fans in general should also enjoy this game a lot. Overall, I think I'll be playing this one again, when I am bored of my regulars.
I recommend this game!

This isn't a match 3 by any stretch of the imagination. There is no gem/tile swapping whatsoever, but instead you slide pieces across the game board vertically or horizontally to match 3 pieces of the same type. This a straight up old school puzzle game. The graphics are pleasant and the sounds are nice but the music is kind of uninspired. As you complete levels you reveal portions of a map, which was a nice little touch. Other than that the game is pretty basic and definitely lacking in depth. There are no extra features and the gameplay does become rather repetitive. I might come back to this one at some other time, but I don't feel any real urge to play it much right now. The game is very polished so I'd say it's still a good game if you don't mind repetitive puzzles.
I recommend this game!

Why can't BFG have more games like this?
This is truly one of the best games BFG has to offer if you are into simple but challenging Tetris style puzzles. The rules can be learned within minutes and the fun factor kicks in immediately. The game itself is tiny, the sounds are great, the music is decent, and the graphics are perfectly suited to the genre. This is the kind of game where if you like it, you LOVE it! As you play more and more you continually expand the features of the game by unlocking tonnes of content. Literally the more you play the better it gets. There are so many different features to this game and the replay value is incredible. Games do not take very long to complete so it never gets boring. For something so simple this game offers nearly unmatched replayability. One of the best uses of a game club credit I've had in a long time. Highly recommended.
I recommend this game!

I was stuck on the first level of this game for 5 or 10 minutes so I initially did not like it at all. After playing a bit more and advancing a few levels I can say that this is a pretty solid tower defense game but it has a flaw that may make it frustrating for the average gamer. There seems to be a problem with the pacing and it can sometimes be impossible to avoid taking damage at certain intervals in the turn cycle when the enemies come at you. This does not mean you are guaranteed to lose, but it can make the game considerably more difficult than it needs to be and adds pointless frustration from the repetition that is involved with this issue. Besides that, the graphics and theme are very nice, although the use of futuristic looking "cannons" against mythological creatures is a bit humorously odd. The music is nothing special and the sounds are decent. If you can see past the pacing issue I'd say this is a great tower defense game. Recommended.
I recommend this game!

If you like inlay games and you enjoyed this games first iteration as Ocean Express you will likely fall in love with Galactic Express. This game blows its predecessor out of the water in all respects. The graphics, music, sounds, interface, story, and overall gameplay are much better this time around. This is one of the best inlay games I've ever played hands down. There's not much to be said because the genre is so perfectly simplistic. It is another inlay classic comparable to Fireworks Extravaganza, Magic Inlay, and Charm Tale. Recommended.
I recommend this game!
