What on earth is going on here? This game excels in visual and sound quality but other than that it's a pile of junk. The requirements for tasks to be completed, and the slow and monotonous pace of gameplay ruins everything about this. I would have loved to spend a good deal of time playing this game but it simply DOESN'T WORK. Unless you have infinite patience, this game requires an unrealistic amount of your time to actually play through. The task requirements are ridiculous and nonsensical, and the explanations are few and far between. Another extremely slow farming game that would have been better off not being made in the first place.
This game has great audio and visuals but that's where the quality stops. A nonsensical, sluggish, and irritating tutorial ruined this game for me. The fact that turning it off didn't improve the pace or overall fluidity of gameplay broke this game. It is unbearably slow and tedious. Nothing is clearly outlined and there are simply too many tasks. This game could have been amazing, and it reminds of the terribly flawed "Snow Globe" game that I wanted to like but simply couldn't. There is a serious lack of quality "farming" games out there. Hint to developers: gamers DON'T enjoy waiting around for resources to accumulate. Stop making slow and stupid TMG/BUILDER/STRATEGY games that have no flow, consistency or point. Such a waste...
This is one of the best if not the best platformer I could find on BFG. I played this one years ago and decided to give it another try and I am certainly not disappointed. The graphics, gameplay, controls, and music are all fantastic. If you like games like Super Mario Bros., Megaman, or Sonic The Hedgehog then you'll love Gold Miner Joe. Definitely worth a game credit.
The first Royal Defense game was a solid tower defense offering and I enjoyed it a lot. The second game in the series however was painfully disappointing and it basically got panned. This one however makes up for the last one's mistakes and does just about everything right. The one problem I have with this series though is the fact that they do not support custom cursors in ANY of their games, which really detracts from the overall experience. All in all, if you're forgiving and you love tower defense games, this one will be for you. I like it a lot and may even purchase it when my trial is over. Keep em coming, and next time give us a custom cursor!
Everything about this game is wonderful. It has strategy, time management, and builder elements all rolled into one. The graphics are fantastic and the sounds are great. I turned off the music as it was kind of repetitive. The only flaw here is that it is quite a challenge to get a perfect rating on all of the levels, but some people appreciate that. The gameplay flows very smoothly, as you only need to hover your cursor over resources to collect them, which is a nice feature. If you enjoy TMGs or builder games, you'll be sure to love this one. This is a long game with lots of extra features, so it's definitely worth a purchase.
Orphan Evy wakes to find herself in a fairytale kingdom under threat from an evil witch. Help her save the magic kingdom with Marble Popping puzzle duels.
This game has great graphics and a wonderful art style but everything else about it is disastrous. The gameplay has completely needless pauses that make it completely unfun and clunky. For a marble popper this flaw is unforgivable. Besides this, the native resolution is very strange and cannot be adjusted. The music and sounds are also nothing spectacular. This could have been great, but it's got too many downsides to be redeemable.
Are far as new releases, BFG has been on a role lately. I had no idea how good this one was going to be until I fired it up. The graphics, gameplay, sound, interface, bonus items, and especially the city building aspects of this game are all flawless. This is one of the most imaginative and creative M3 games I've played in years. All I can say is you really have to try it out yourself to understand how good it is. This is a one of a kind. Worth a game credit for sure.
"12 Labours" is yet another top notch TMG from Big Fish Games. The theme is overly familiar and the layout, action, and formula are the same, but ultimately for the best. Everything flows very smoothly with this one, there isn't a lot of waiting around for the action to begin. You can choose relaxed for timed modes, and there are unique boss battles, trophies, and other bonuses to enrich the overall experience. The graphics are HD and the sounds are very nice, but I did find the music kind of bothersome so it got turned off. In the end I'd say this is one of the best TMGs I've played in a while, and definitely worth a purchase.
This game frustrated me to no end for a number of reasons. I really WANT to like it, but it's just so badly designed. The visuals and sound effects are top notch, but the flow of gameplay is jutting, inconsistent, and downright clunky. The level goals are vaguely outlined, and the sheer number of different requirements for building makes this game unbearably slow. It is clearly a predecessor to When In Rome, a MUCH better game from the same developer. Sorry, but this is a definite pass for me.
What a spectacular new release from BFG! One of the best if not THE best match 3 I have ever played. This one has HD graphics, cut scenes, fully voiced characters, achievements/trophies, decent music and great sound effects. The gameplay is very smooth and engaging, which is a must for a match 3. Heck, this one even has somewhat of a story, as it walks players through an admittedly vague and generalized telling of historic artifacts. Best use of a game credit I could recommend!
