I had high hopes for this since it started off interestingly. Unfortunately it quickly became slow and boring. Great artwork but a very pedestrian game. No major puzzles, the HOGs were easy and there was way too much dialogue. I finished it simply because I hoped it would improve but no such luck. After finishing it I deleted it from my computer.
I don't recommend this game.

I have visited the town of Bodie (It is in Northern California) and they have replicated it fairly well. The scenery is well done but the game is not that great. The hidden objects are hard to see and the minigames repeat. I didn't even complete the full hour-long trial. Great concept, not so great game.
I don't recommend this game.

This is probably a good game for younger players but I found it to be boring. Most of the important puzzles are of the mosaic variety which I dislike. The others are mostly of the find a part and assemble an item type. The story line is OK but not enthralling. If you are an inexperienced gamer you might like it if you are hard core I suggest you take a long look at the game first.
I don't recommend this game.

Mystery Case Files: Escape from Ravenhearst
Mystery Case Files: Escape from Ravenhearst
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

I have bought and played all the "Ravenhearst" games and, up until this one, I have enjoyed them. This one is a huge disappointment. I HATE the morphing items and, for the first time, I skipped a lot of the puzzles and even had to resort to a walkthrough to finish the game. Get rid of the morphing objects and make the game less ghoulish and more engrossing.
I don't recommend this game.
