Review based on Demo. I love this game and writing my review while downloading the full game. Straight adventure-puzzle; my absolute favorite. If you're into HOS, this isn't the game for you but for those of us who love this genre it's a little slice of heaven. Love the little furry gremlin helper and found myself smiling when he appeared in a scene. The Beholders you collect aren't needed but what a nice add-on for a SE that you usually only get with a higher priced CE. The puzzles vary in difficulty with some fairly easy and some much harder. I used the Hint button once and it was quite helpful. Kudos to the Devs and Big Fish for this one. Thank You for a puzzle adventure I can enjoy playing over and over again! Looking forward to the sequel.
I enjoyed the demo and purchased it. I enjoy this developer and have many of their games, including the 2 previous one in this series as SE's. Since the game play has been reviewed perfectly by previous posters, I won't waste your time.
Great whodunit HOPA game. Not overly challenging that it would leave you frustrated as to what to do next. Cute furry sidekick fox that appears from time to time to help and an annoying assistant that was Captain Obvious. Although I love this game, I probably would have waited for the SE. I've been waiting until the last minute to fill my punch card for this month and this was the final winner.
Kudoes to the devs for synching the voice overs! Nice touch.
I enjoy a good brick blasting game for a change of pace. Beautiful 3D graphics and great power-ups. The challenge level was good without being frustrating. The only con and what will stop me from buying this game is that the Windows cursor is always present and most of the time you find it has crept into your field of play and I found that distracting. I looked to see if the cursor settings could be changed under Options and nothing was offered.
Try it for yourself and decide if the cursor bothers you but I'll stick with my Adventure Ball put out in 2005 that has all of this without that distracting cursor. Kind of a shame because I would have bought this game.
When your daughter, Emily, is taken over by a mysterious force, you must travel to the Nightmare Realm to search for a cure. But nothing could have prepared you for what you find there…
Not much to add to some already well written reviews of the game play. I own the first Nightmare Realm and this one doesn't disappoint. Beautiful graphics and I like the adventure over multiple HO scenes. Some of the puzzles were a bit gnarly but worth the effort. I didn't need to use the Hint button so can't comment on that but the Map is excellent as far as letting you know where you have a task. A jump map would have been nice but it's not a deal breaker for me. I'll be purchasing this game because I enjoyed it and it's right up my game playing alley. A big Thank You to the Devs on this one! Brilliant job and can't wait to see where you take us next.
